Quran 7 : 78

An earthquake seized them, and they lay lifeless in their homes.

The earthquake took them, thus they became lifeless in their home.

So the earthquake seized them, leaving them lifeless in their homes.

A tremor caught them; so one morning they lay cowering in their home.

A harsh earthquake seized them... They collapsed in their homes and died!

Eventually they were killed by a sudden catastrophe, while resting at home

So the earthquake took them unaware, and they lay prostrate in their homes

So the quake seized them and they laid lifeless by morning in their homes.

So seized them the earthquake then they became in their homes fallen prone

Consequently, the quake annihilated them, leaving them dead in their homes.

So the earthquake seized them, and they lay (dead), prostrate in their homes

So the earthquake seized them, and they lay lifeless prostrate in their homes

Whereupon an earthquake seized them, so that they lay prone in their dwellings

So the earthquake seized them, and they were motionless bodies in their abodes

Then a shocking catastrophe seized them, so that they lay prostrate and lifeless in their very dwellings

So the earthquake seized them and the morning found them lying prostrate on the ground in their habitations

An earthquake took them before they knew what was happening, and they were left flattened in their homes.

Thereupon the earthquake felled them, and when morning came they were crouching lifeless in their dwellings

Then the earthquake surprised them; and in the morning they were found dead on their faces in their dwellings

Then the Commotion took them (away), and so (in the morning) they became cowering (bodies) in their residence

So the earthquake seized them and they faced the morning in their houses as those who are lying dead (on the ground)

Consequently, an earthquake seized them. The next morning found them lifeless in their homes, lying face down (in dirt)

So the earthquake overtook them while they were not aware, and they lay on their face down in their homes in the morning

So the quaking of the earth took them. And it came to be in the morning they were in their abodes ones who are fallen prostrate.

So (the torment of) a high-scale earthquake seized them, and, in the morning, they lay (dead) in their homes with faces down upon the ground

So the tremble and shake/quake punished/took them, so they became/became in the morning in their home/country/place stuck to the ground (dead)

Whereupon a terrible noise from heaven assailed them; and in the morning they were found in their dwellings prostrate on their breasts and dead

(In their life of luxury, like other strong nations they felt invincible.) The destruction came from under their feet. A powerful earthquake annihilated them, leaving them lifeless in their homes
