Quran 61 : 8

they wish to put His light out with their mouths. But He will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers hate it

Fain would they put out the light of God with their mouths! but though the Infidels hate it, God will perfect his light

They seek to extinguish God's light with their mouths: But God will perfect his light, though the infidels be averse thereto

They wish to put out GOD's light with their mouths. But GOD insists upon perfecting His light, in spite of the disbelievers.

They desire to extinguish the Light of God with their mouths, but God completes His Light, though the disbelievers be averse

They want to extinguish the light of God with their mouths but God is One Who Fulfills His light even though the ones who are ungrateful disliked it.

They want to put out the light of Allah by blowing on it with their mouth. But Allah is going to complete His light _ (the guidance) _ much to the chagrin of the disbelievers

Their intention is to darken Allah’s Light (by bellowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (brightening) His Light. Even though the unbelievers may dislike (it)

Their intention is to extinguish Allah's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But Allah will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it)

They aim to put out Allah's Light with their mouths (utterances), but Allah has willed to spread His Light in all its fullness, however hateful this may be to the deniers of the Truth

People intend that they may put off the Light of Allah with (the power of arguments and speech in) their mouths. And Allah is One Who completes His Light even if the disbelievers disliked

These (deniers of the truth) desire to put out the Light of Allah by (blowing) with their mouths, whereas Allah will take His Light to perfection, even though the disbelievers may dislike it intensely

They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, this Quran, and Prophet Muhammad SAW) with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it)

They want to extinguish the Nur (light of knowledge) of Allah with their mouths (empty discourse). But Allah is the perfector of His Nur. Even though those who deny the knowledge of the reality may not like it!

They diligently strive to extinguish the Light of Allâh with their mouths, but Allâh intends no other than to perfect His Light. No matter how detestable is this may be to those who are spiritually dead and blind.

They eagerly pursue and seek to extinguish the Light of Allâh with their mouths. But Allâh intends no other than to perfect His Light. No matter how detestable is to those who excessively indulge in disbelief (in Allâh).

They long to extinguish God’s light with (a breath from) their mouths (as if it entailed no more than extinguishing a candle with a breath), but God will surely perfect His light, however hateful (it may be) to the unbelievers

The disbelievers will be the most content to see the “Light of God” is being turned off by their words. What they do not realize is that the “Light of God” will keep shining in spite of the fact that the disbelievers resent it
