Has not the time come for those who believed to open up their hearts for the remembrance of God, and the truth that is revealed herein? And they should not be like those who were given the Book before, and the waiting became long for them, so their hearts became hardened, and many of them were wicked

Is it not time for believers to humble their hearts to the remembrance of God and the Truth that has been revealed, and not to be like those who received the Scripture before them, whose time was extended but whose hearts hardened and many of whom were lawbreakers

Has not the time come for the hearts of the believers to be humble by the reminder (this Qur’an) of Allah, and to the truth which has been revealed, so that they don’t become like those who received the Scripture before, and the term was prolonged for them but their hearts were hardened? Many of them are rebellious.

Is not the time yet come unto those who believe, that their hearts should humble themselves to the admonition of Allah and to the truth which hath come down, and that they become not as those who were vouchsafed the Book aforetime, and the time become extended unto them, and so their hearts became hard? And many of them are transgressor

Has the moment not yet come when the hearts of believers should be moved by the thought of God and the truth that has been sent down, so that they should not be like those who received the Book before them but whose hearts were hardened after a lapse of time, and many of them turned disobedient

Has not the time come for the believers to be in awe of the remembrance of Allah and what has been disclosed in Truth? So that they may not be like those who were given a book before (that they do not reduce their worship to customs and traditions, and stop feeling and contemplating)! A long period had passed over them (the children of Israel; their worship had become customary practices), so their hearts hardened (they stopped contemplating and feeling their worship and only do it out of custom)! Most of them (the Jews) are corrupt in faith!

Has not the time arrived for the believers that their hearts should lean for the remembrance of Allah and for the truth, which has come down. and that they should not become like those who were given the Book before, then the term was prolonged for them, so their 'hearts were hardened? And many of them are disobedients.

Has the time not arrived for the hearts of those who have iman to yield to the remembrance of Allah and to the truth He has sent down, so they are not like those who were given the Book before for whom the time seemed over long so that their hearts became hard? Many of them are deviators.

Has not the time yet come for those who believe that their hearts should soften with humility and submit (to God to strive in His cause) in the face of God’s Remembrance (the Qur’an) and what has come down of the truth (the Divine teachings)? And (has not the time yet come) that they should not be like those who were given the Book before? A long time has passed over them (after they received the Book) and so their hearts have hardened; and many among them (have been) transgressors

Is it not time yet for those who have faith that their hearts should be humbled for Allah’s remembrance and to the truth which has come down [to them], and to be not like those who were given the Book before? Time took its toll on them and so their hearts were hardened, and many of them are transgressors

Is it not yet time for those who believe that their hearts should feel humbled at the mention (of the name) of Allah and at the truth that has been revealed to them (in the form of the Qur'an), and that they do not become like those who were given the Scripture before (them). But their hearts hardened because a long period of time passed over them (enjoying the favours of Allah. (As for their present state) they are mostly transgressors

Is it not yet time to learn from those to whom God gave the book before you and not behave like them? Do not you realize to what a rock their hearts has turned into and how they have become sinners ? [what an appropriate reminding when you look at their societies today plagued with sex, gambling, drugs, divorces,...]

Has not the time arrived for the believers, that their hearts, with all humility, should engage in the remembrance of God and of the truth which has been revealed, and that they should not become like those to whom was given revelation? But long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard. For many among them are rebellious transgressors

Has not come (the) time for those who believed that become humble their hearts at (the) remembrance (of) Allah at (the) remembrance (of) Allah and what has come down of the truth And not they become like those who were given the Book before before (and) was prolonged for them the term so hardened their hearts and many of them (are) defiantly disobedient

Has not the time come for those who have Believed that their hearts may soften and show sincerity regarding Zikrullah (‘Message of Allah’), and what has descended as Al-Haqq (‘The Truth’)? And they must not become like those who were given Al-Kitab before; and a long period passed over them (when they last faced a Messenger) so their hearts became hardened. And a vast majority amongst them (became) Fasiqun

Has not the time come for the hearts of those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) to be affected by Allahs Reminder (this Quran), and that which has been revealed of the truth, lest they become as those who received the Scripture (the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) before (i.e. Jews and Christians), and the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened? And many of them were Fasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient to Allah)

Is it not right time for the hearts of those who believe to submit to Allah (God)'s reminder and any truth that has been sent down? Let them not act like the ones who were given the Book (the Scriptures) previously: the waiting period seemed too long for them, so their hearts were hardened, and many of them became immoral.

IS IT NOT time that the hearts of all who have attained to faith should feel humble at the remembrance of God and of all the truth that has been bestowed [on them] from on high, lest they become like those who were granted revelation aforetime, and whose hearts have hardened with the passing of time so that many of them are [now] depraved

Has not the time yet come for the Monotheistic Believers that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allâh, and at the Truth which is revealed? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and the term was prolonged for them, and so their hearts were hardened? However, most of them were indulging in personal disobedience extensively without repentance.

Hasn’t the time come for the believers, that their hearts submit humbly to Allah’s remembrance and the revealed truth? Don’t be like the ancients, who were given the Scripture, and with passing of time their hearts hardened; they were mostly lawbreakers.

Has the time not yet come for believers’ hearts to be humbled at the remembrance of Allah and what has been revealed of the truth, and not be like those given the Scripture before—˹those˺ who were spoiled for so long that their hearts became hardened. And many of them are ˹still˺ rebellious.

Has not the time come for the believers that their hearts humble towards the remembrance of Allah and what He has revealed of the truth and that they should not be like those who were given the book before them, but time went too slowly for them and their hearts hardened, and many of them were sinful?
