Say: "O people of the Book, do not overstep in your system other than the truth, and do not follow the desires of a people who have been misguided before, and they misguide many; and they strayed from the right path.

Say, ‘People of the Book, do not overstep the bounds of truth in your religion and do not follow the whims of those who went astray before you- they led many others astray and themselves continue to stray from the even path.’

Say (O Muhammad): “O people of the Scripture! You don’t exceed limits in your religion other than the truth, you don’t follow desires of people who certainly went astray before, they misled many, and strayed from the Right Way.”

Say thou: O people of the Book! exceed not the just bounds in your religion except with truth, and follow not the vain desires of a people who have strayed aforetime and have led many astray and have strayed from the level way

Tell them: "O people of the Book, do not overstep the bounds of truth in your beliefs, and follow not the wishes of a people who had erred before, and led many others astray, and wandered away from the right path."

Say, “O People of the Book... Do not exceed the limits and unjustly transgress the boundaries of your religion... Do not follow the empty delusions of a people who have diverted many from the right course in the past, and who have gone astray from the centerline!”

'O people of the Book! Exceed not the limits in your religion unjustly, and follow not the desires of a people who have already gone astray and caused many to go astray and have strayed away from the right path.

Say: ´People of the Book! do not go to extremes in your deen, asserting other than the truth, and do not follow the whims and desires of people who were misguided previously and have misguided many others, and are far from the right way.´

Say: "O People of the Book! Do not go beyond the bounds in your religion, (straying towards) other than the truth, and do not follow the lusts and fancies of a people who went astray before, and led many others astray, and they strayed (as again others do now) from the right, even way."

Say, ‘O People of the Book! Do not unduly exceed the bounds in your religion and do not follow the fancies of a people who went astray in the past, and led many astray, and [themselves] strayed from the right path.’

Say, `O People of the Scripture! do not exaggerate in (the matter of) your religion falsely and unjustly, nor follow the fancies of a people who had gone astray before (you) and had led many astray, and (now again) who have strayed away from the right path

Say: 'People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, other than the truth, and follow not the caprices of a people who went astray before, and led astray many, and now again have gone astray from the right way.

Say: “People of the book, do not exaggerate unjustifiably in your religion (way of life), and do not follow the desires of people who had lost (the right path) in the past and they misguided many and lost the right way.

Say: “O’ people of the Book, do not falsify the truth in your religion and do not follow the same wrong path that the lustful ones before you paved and took so many believers with them too.”

Say, “O people of the Book, do not go to extremes in your religions, other than in truth. Nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by, who misled many and strayed from the balanced way.

Say O People (of) the Book (Do) not exceed in your religion other than the truth and (do) not follow (vain) desires (of) a people certainly who went astray from before and they misled many and they have strayed from (the) right [the] way

Say: “O people who possess Al-Kitab! Do not exceed the limits in your way of life without right and do not follow the vain desires of a nation who have definitely gone astray since before and they have misled a vast majority and they strayed from rightness of the Path

Say: O People of the Book! Go not beyond limits in your way of life but with The Truth and follow not the desires of the folk who, surely, went astray before. And they caused many to go astray. And they themselves went astray from the right way.

Say: ‘O People of the Book! Do not unjustly exceed limits in your din (religion), nor follow the desires of those who lost the straight path (before Muhammad’s Prophethood [blessings and peace be upon him]) and (also) caused a number of (others) to go astray and remained deviated from the straight road (even after Muhammad’s Prophethood [blessings and peace be upon him]).

Say, "Oh people of the book, do not (overstate and) exaggerate anything in your faith. Do not stretch (and falsify) the truth. Do not be swayed by the whims and conjectures of the earlier nations, who themselves strayed and misled many. They are far removed from the straight (and steady) path."

Say, 'O people of the Book! exceed not the truth in your religion, and follow not the lusts of a people who have erred before, and who lead many astray, and who go away from the level path.

Say, “O People given the Book(s)! Do not wrongfully commit injustice in your religion, and do not follow the people who earlier went astray, and led many others astray, and wandered away from the Straight Path.”

Say, “O people of the scripture! Do not be excessive in your religion without the truth and do not follow the vain desires of a people who indeed have gone astray before and they caused many to go astray and they themselves went astray from the right way.”

Say, O ye who have received the scriptures, exceed not the just bounds in your religion, by speaking beside the truth; neither follow the desires of peole who have heretofore erred, and who have seduced many, and have gone astray from the strait path

Say, "O people of the Book! Exceed not in your religion other than the Truth, and follow not the lusts (prejudices, fantasies, superstitions) of a people who have erred in the past, and who lead many astray, and who go astray from the Even Path.&quo;

Say: 'People of the Book! Do not exaggerate your religion, other than the truth, and do not follow the desires of a people who went astray before, and led many astray, and, (once again) have gone astray from the Straight Path.

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Exceed not the limits in your religion (by believing in something) other than the truth, and do not follow the vain desires of people who went astray in times gone by, and who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the Right Path."

SAY: "O People of the Book, do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the Truth, nor follow the whims of a folk who have already gone astray and misled many as they stray from the Level Path.

SAY: O people of the Book! outstep not bounds of truth in your religion; neither follow the desires of those who have already gone astray, and who have caused many to go astray, and have themselves gone astray from the evenness of the way

Say, “O People of the Book, do not exceed in your religion what is beyond the truth. Do not follow the vain desires of people who were astray in previous times. They misled many and got off the right path.”

Say: ´People of the Book! Do not go beyond bounds in your religion at the cost of truth, and do not follow the caprices of the people who fell into error before, and caused others to go astray, and strayed far away from the right path

Say: O People of the Book, exaggerate not in the matter of your religion unjustly, and follow not the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray, and went astray from the right path

Say, "O owners of the book ! do not commit excesses in your religion without having the right to do so, and do not follow the desires of the people who went astray before (you) and led many (others) astray and went astray from the balanced way."

Say, "O people of the Book! Commit no unjust excesses in your religion (way of life), and follow not the vain desires of people who went astray before, and who led many astray and went astray from the Right Path."h

Say: "You The Book's people, do not exaggerate/exceed the limit in your religion, other than the truth , and do not follow a nation's self attractions for desires , they had misguided from before and they misguided many, and they misguided from the way's/path's middle/straightness."

Say: "O followers of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs; and do not follow the errant views of people who have gone astray aforetime, and have led many [others] astray, and are still straying from the right path."

Say, "O Population of the Book, (Or: Family of the Book, i.e., the Jews and Christians) do not go beyond the bounds in your religion, (following) other than the truth, and do not (ever) follow the prejudices of a people who have already erred earlier and led many into error, and erred away from the level way."

Say: O People of the Scripture! Stress not in your religion other than the truth, and follow not the vain desires of folk who erred of old and led many astray, and erred from a plain road

Say to the People of the Book, "Do not wrongly exceed the proper limit of devotion to your religion or follow the desires of the people who have erred. They have misled many others and have themselves stayed far away from the right path

Say, O people of the Book, be not excessive in your religion unjustly, and do not follow the desires of a people who have already gone astray, misled many and lost the right path

Say, (O’ Muhammad): "O’ ‘People of the Scripture’, (Jews & Christians), exceed not the limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the self-deception of a people who have gone astray before, and who misled many, and have gone astray from the virtuous path."

Say: "O’ People of the Book! Do not exceed the limits in your religion beyond the Truth and do not yield to the whims of a people who have fallen away from the Faith, and who have deceived others into going away from the path of truth; and they themselves could not find the way to the truth.

Say: “People of The Book, don’t go beyond the bounds of truth in your religion, and don’t follow the whims of people who went astray before you, misleading many others, themselves wandering far off the straight path.

Say, “O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your faith beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of those who went astray before ˹you˺. They misled many and strayed from the Right Way.”

Say: Oh people of the book, do not transgress in your religion away from the truth and do not follow the desires of people who have already gone astray before and have led astray many and strayed from the level way.

Say: ‘People of the Book! Do not transgress the bounds of Truth in your religion. Do not yield to the desires of those who have erred before; who have led many astray and have themselves strayed from the even path.‘

Say, "O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion beyond the truth, and do not follow the opinions of people who have gone astray, and have misled multitudes of people; they are far astray from the right path."

Say, "People of the Book, do not overstep the bounds of Truth in your religious beliefs. Do not follow the whims of the people who went astray before you. They have led many others astray, and they continue to stray from the right path."

Say, “O the book's people! Do not hyperbole in your religion rather than the right; and do not follow kinfolk’s desire who already were straying before, and strayed many, and strayed (themselves) from the pathway’s soundness. ”

Say, "O People of the Book! Do not overstep the bounds of Truth in your religious beliefs. And do not follow the errant views of people who have gone astray long before, and led a great many others astray, and those who are still straying from the Even Way

Say: O followers of the Book! be not unduly immoderate in your religion, and do not follow the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray and went astray from the right path

Say, `O People of the Book, exceed not the limits in the matter of your religion unjustly, nor follow the low desires of a people who went astray before and caused many to go astray, and who have strayed away from the right path.

Say: "O People of the Book! Do not exceed the limits in your religion (of what is proper by) going beyond the truth, and do not follow the useless desires of people who went wrong in old times— (Those) who misled many, and wandered (themselves away) from the even path."

SAY: "People of the Book, do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the Truth, nor follow the whims of a folk who have already gone astray and misled many as they stray from the Level Path.

Say, “O People of the Scripture, don’t exaggerate in your religion beyond the truth, and don’t follow the whims of people who went astray before, led many astray, and strayed from the straight path.”

Say, 'O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the truth; and do not follow the opinions of people who went astray before, and misled many, and themselves strayed off the balanced way.'

Say, “O People of the Book! Do not exaggerate in your religion beyond the truth, and follow not the caprices of a people who went astray before, and led many astray, and strayed from the right way.

Say, 'O people of the Book! Do not exceed the truth in your religion, and do not follow the lusts of a people who have erred before, and who lead many astray, and who go away from the level path.'

Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."

Say, People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your religion and do not follow the whims of those who went astray before youthey caused many to go astray and themselves strayed away from the right path

Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way
