Quran 5 : 30

So he found it in himself to kill his brother; so he killed him. He thus became one of the losers.

The (selfish) soul of the other led him to the murder of his brother: he murdered him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones

His lower self persuaded him to kill his brother, and he killed him and he became one of the lost

And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers

But his soul allowed him to slay his brother, and he slew him, and became of the losers.

Then his soul prompted him to slay his brother, and he slew him, and thus came to be among the losers

Then His soul prompted him to kill his brother, so he killed him, and became one of the losers

His soul facilitated the killing of his brother, and he killed him, and thus he became one of the losers.

His own self urged him on to kill his brother, so he killed him, and one morning he turned out to be a loser.

Then his mind facilitated to him the slaying of his brother so he slew him; then he became one of the loser

His ego led him into killing his brother. He killed him and became a loser

So His soul obeyed for him, his brother killing, so he killed him, so he became among the losers.

His ego provoked him into killing his brother. He killed him, and ended up with the losers.

His soul prompted him to slay his brother; he slew him and thus became one of the lost

Then his self caused him to kill his brother, and he killed him and became of the losers.

Yet Cain convinced himself to kill his brother, so he killed him—becoming a loser.

Yet Cain was tempted by his passion to kill his brother Abel, so he killed him and became a loser in this world and the next.

However, his ego induced him to kill his own brother, so he killed him, becoming among those who are doomed to perdition.

His ego induced him to kill his own brother. Subsequently, he killed him and became of those who are doomed to eternal perdition.

His self, however, prompted him to kill his brother, so he killed him and became one of the losers

(Cain’s) ego urged him toward the killing of his brother. He murdered (Abel) and became one of the lost ones.

And his passion led him to slay his brother: and he slew him; and he became one of those who perish

So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fairseeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers

But his soul suffered him to slay his brother, and he slew him; wherefore he became of the number of those who perish

But his ego made killing of his brother look agreeable to him so he killed him thereby he became of those who are in loss.

So his soul incited him to kill his brother - he therefore killed him, and was therefore ruined

But his soul allowed him to slay his brother, and he slew him, and in the morning he was of those who lose

His (evil) soul acceded to the murder of his brother. And he killed his brother and became one of those who incurred a real loss

Then the (ill-commanding) self of Qabil (Cain) made the killing of his brother Habil (Abel) easy (and tempting) for him. So, he killed him and became one of the losers

Then, his soul prompted him to kill his brother. And he killed him and became among the ones who are losers.

So induced (and led) him his Nafs to the murder of his brother; so he murdered him, so he became from amongst the losers

Then prompted to him his soul (to) kill his brother so he killed him and became of the losers

[Even after this warning,] He followed his vain desire and killed his brother and became a looser

Then he allowed himself to kill his brother, so he killed him and became of the losers.

Then his soul prompted him to slay his brother, and he slew him, and became one of the losers

But (the baser instincts of) his mind prompted him (whose offering was not accepted) to kill his brother (whose offering was accepted), so he killed him, wherefore he became one of the losers

(This warning served only to fuel the other’s passion:) His carnal, evil-commanding soul prompted him to kill his brother, and he killed him, thus becoming among the losers

So his soul prompted him to kill his brother, and he killed him, and thus became one of the losers

Finally, the ambition and jealousy driven by his ego made it easy for him (Cain) to kill his brother (Abel), so he killed him... Thus he became of the losers.

Then his soul made the slaying of his brother agreeable to him, so he slew him, and he became of the losers
