And recite to them the news of the two sons of Adam with truth. They had both made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and not accepted from the other. He said: "I will kill you!" He said: "God only accepts from the righteous.

[Prophet], tell them the truth about the story of Adam’s two sons: each of them offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one and not the other. One said, ‘I will kill you,’ but the other said, ‘God only accepts the sacrifice of those who are mindful of Him

(O Muhammad) recite to them the story of 2 sons of Adam (Abel and Cain) in truth; when both offered a sacrifice (to Allah), and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. He (latter) said (to the former): “Surely I will kill you.” He (former) said: “Surely, Allah accepts only from the pious

And rehearse thou unto them with truth the tale of the two sons of Adam, when the twain offered an offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and was not accepted from the other; he said: surely I will slay thee. Said the other: Allah accepteth only from the God- fearing

Narrate to them exactly the tale of the two sons of Adam. When each of them offered a sacrifice (to God), that of one was accepted, and that of the other was not. Said (the one): "I will murder you," and the other replied: "God only accepts from those who are upright and preserve themselves from evil

Tell them the truth about the two sons of Adam... How they had both offered a sacrifice, where one was accepted and the other wasn’t... (Cain, whose sacrifice was not accepted) said, “I will surely kill you”... (Abel, whose sacrifice was accepted) said, “Allah accepts only from the muttaqeen (those who live in line with their essential reality).”

And narrate you to them the true news of the two sons of Adam, when they each offered an offering then it was accepted from one and was not accepted from the other. Ho said, I swear that I shall kill you'. The other said, 'Allah accepts only from God fearing'.

Recite to them the true report of Adam´s two sons when they offered a sacrifice and it was accepted from one of them but not accepted from the other. The one said, ´I shall kill you.´ The other said, ´Allah only accepts from people who have taqwa.

Narrate to them (O Messenger) in truth the exemplary experience of the two sons of Adam, when they each offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one of them, and not accepted from the other. "I will surely kill you," said (he whose sacrifice was not accepted). "God accepts only from the sincere and truly pious," said the other

Relate to them truly the account of Adam’s two sons. When the two of them offered an offering, it was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other. [One of them] said, ‘Surely I will kill you.’ [The other one] said, ‘Allah accepts only from the Godwary

And relate to them with the truth the great news of the two sons of Adam, when they (each) made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. (The latter whose offering was not accepted, out of jealousy for the other) said, `I will slay you.' He replied, `(How can I be held responsible for the rejection of your offering;) Allah accepts only from those who become secure against evil

And recite thou to them the story of the two sons of Adam truthfully, when they offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted of one of them, and not accepted of the other. 'I will surely slay thee,' said one. 'God accepts only of the godfearing,' said the other

And read to them the true story of the two sons of Adam, when they both offered offering of sacrifice, then it was accepted from one of them and it was not accepted from the other. He said: “I shall kill you.” And (the other one) said: “God only accepts from those who are cautious (of Him).”

Now recite the true story of the two sons of Adam. They made offerings to please God. The offering of one was accepted the offering of the other one was rejected. The latter said: “I will kill you.” The other replied: “[It is not my fault that] God accepts only the offerings of the pious ones.”

Recite to them the truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold, they each presented a sacrifice, it was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter, “Certainly I will slay you.” “Certainly,” said the former, “God only accepts the sacrifice of those who are righteous.

And recite to them the story (of) two sons (of) Adam in truth when both offered a sacrifice and it was accepted from one of them and not was accepted from the other Said (the latter) Surely I will kill you Said (the former) Only accepts (does) Allah from the God fearing

And recite to them the news about the two sons of Adam in truth; when both brought forth (to Allah) an item of gaining nearness (to Allah), so it was accepted from one of these two, and it was not accepted from the other one. The (latter one) said (to the first one): “Surely, I will kill you.” The (first one) said: “Definitely it is so (that Allah) accepts (only) from Al-Muttaqun

And recount thou to them the tiding of the two sons of Adam in Truth when they both brought near a sacrifice and it was received from one of them but there is non-acceptance from the other. He said: I will, surely, kill thee. He said: Truly, God receives only from the ones who are Godfearing.

(O Most Esteemed Messenger!) Relate to these people the account of the two sons of Adam (Habil and Qabil [Abel and Cain]) which is absolutely true. When both of them made offering (one each to Allah), the offering from one of them (Habil [Abel]) was accepted, whilst that from the other (Qabil [Cain]) was not accepted. Thereupon, he (Qabil) said to Habil (out of jealousy and vengeance): ‘I will surely kill you.’ He (Habil) said (in reply): ‘Indeed, Allah accepts (offering) only from the people of piety

Recite to them the true tale of the two sons of Adam. Each of them sacrificed and made an offering (to Allah). The offering of one was preferred and accepted while that of the other was not. He said, "I will kill you." The other replied, "Allah, in fact, accepts only the offering of the righteous."

Recite to them the story of the two sons of Adam; truly when they offered an offering and it was accepted from one of them, and was not accepted from the other, that one said, 'I will surely kill thee;' he said, 'God only accepts from those who fear

And recite to them the true tale of the two sons of Adam; when both of them offered a sacrifice each - hence the sacrifice of one was accepted and not accepted from the other; he (the other) said, “I swear I will kill you”; he answered, “Allah accepts only from the pious.”

And relate unto them by the truth the news of the two sons of Adam when both of them offered an offering but it was accepted from one of them and it was not accepted from the other. He said, “I will surely kill you” He said, “Allah only accepts from those who revere Him.

Relate also unto them the history of the two sons of Adam, with truth. When they offered their offering, and it was accepted from one of them, and was not accepted from the other, Cain said to his brother, I will certainly kill thee. Abel answered, God only accepteth the offering of the pious

Recite to them the true tale of the two sons of Adam; truly when they offered an offering and it was accepted from one of them, and not from the other. Said the latter, "I will surely kill you." Said the former, "Surely, Allah only accepts

Recite to them in all truth the news of Adam's two sons; how they each made an offering, and how the offering of the one was accepted while that of the other was not. He said: 'I will surely kill you. ' (The other) said: 'Allah accepts only from the righteous

And (O Muhammad SAW) recite to them (the Jews) the story of the two sons of Adam (Habil (Abel) and Qabil (Cain)) in truth; when each offered a sacrifice (to Allah), it was accepted from the one but not from the other. The latter said to the former: "I will surely kill you." The former said: "Verily, Allah accepts only from those who are Al-Muttaqoon (the pious - see V.2:2)."

Recite information to them about the Truth concerning Adam's two sons. When they both presented an offering (sacrifice), it was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other. He said: "I'll kill you!" [The former] said: "Allah (God) only accepts [things] from the heedful.

Relate to them exactly the story of the sons of Adam when they each offered an offering; accepted from the one of them, and not accepted from the other. The one said, "I will surely slay thee." Said the other, "God only accepted from those that fear Him

Recite to (the masses) the true story of the two sons of Adam. They each presented a sacrifice [to God]. It was accepted from one, but not from the other. (Cain) said [to Abel], “You can be sure that I will kill you.” (Abel) said, “Allah accepts the sacrifices of those who are righteous.

Narrate to them in all truth the story of the two sons of Adam. When they made an offering and it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other, the latter said: ´I will surely kill you.´ Thereupon the former said: ´Allah accepts offerings only from the God-fearing

And relate to them with truth the story of the two sons of Adam, when they offered an offering, but it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. He said: I will certainly kill thee. (The other) said: Allah accepts only from the dutiful

And recite to them the true story of the two sons of Adam, when they both offered an offering, but it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other (who) said, "I will definitely kill you." (The other) said, "Allah accepts only from those who guard (against evil),

And relate to them the story of the two sons of Adam with truth. When each offered a sacrifice, the sacrifice from one of them was accepted and the sacrifice from the other was not. The latter said, "I will certainly kill you." The former said, "Allah accepts offerings only from the pious."

And read/recite on them (the) information/news (of) Adam's two sons with the truth , when they (B) approached/neared an approachment to God (an offering), so (it) was accepted from one of them (B) and was not (to) be accepted from the other, he said: "I will kill you (E)." He said: "But, God accepts from the fearing and obeying."

AND CONVEY unto them, setting forth the truth, the story of the two sons of Adam -how each offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one of them whereas it was not accepted from the other. [And Cain] said: "I will surely slay thee!" [Abel] replied: "Behold, God accepts only from those who are conscious of Him

And recite to them the tiding of the two sons of Adam with the truth as they offered a sacrifice, (Literally: sacrificed an all-sanctified sacrifice) (and) it was (graciously) accepted of one of them and not (graciously) accepted of the other. One (of them) said, "Indeed, I will definitely kill you." (The other) said, "Surely Allah (graciously) accepts only of the pious

But recite unto them with truth the tale of the two sons of Adam, how they offered each a sacrifice, and it was accepted from the one of them and it was not accepted from the other. (The one) said: I will surely kill thee. (The other) answered: Allah accepteth only from those who ward off (evil)

(Muhammad) tell them the true story of the two sons of Adam (Abel and Cain). Each one of them offered a sacrifice. God accepted the sacrifice of one of them (Abel) but not that of the other (Cain) who then said to his brother, "I shall certainly kill you." (Abel) replied, "God only accepts the offerings of the pious ones

And recite to them the story of the two sons of ‘Adam rightly: When both of them offered a sacrifice, it was accepted from one of them, and was not accepted from the other. He said, .I will kill you. He said, .Allah accepts only from the God-fearing

(O’ Muhammad) recite to them ( the ‘Jews’ & the ‘Christians’) the incident of the two sons of ‘Adam’ (‘Cain’ and ‘Abel’) when they both offered an offering, and it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. He said: “Indeed, I am going to kill you." (The other) said: "Allâh accepts only from those who are ‘Pious’(who show honor and reverence for Allâh).

And relate to them the tale of the two sons of Adam with truth, how each of them made an offering to Him, and it accepted from one, but not from the other. (And Cain) said: ‘Be sure I am going to kill you.’ (Abel) replied: ‘Allâh (Almighty) accepts only from those who are Pious.

Give them an exact account of two sons of Adam. When both offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one but not from the other, Cain angrily said, “I’m going to kill you.” Abel replied, “Allah only accepts from the pious.

Relate to them in truth ˹O Prophet˺ the story of Adam’s two sons—how each offered a sacrifice: Abel’s offering was accepted while Cain’s was not. So Cain threatened, “I will kill you!” His brother replied, “Allah only accepts ˹the offering˺ of the sincerely devout.

Recite to them the true account of the two sons of Adam when they offered a sacrifice and it was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other. He said ´I shall kill you´; he said ´Allah only accepts from those who beware (of Him).

Recount to them in all truth the story of Adam‘s two sons: how they each made an offering, which was accepted from the one and was not accepted from the other. One said: ‘I will surely kill you.‘ The other said: ‘God accepts only from the righteous

(O Messenger) Tell them the true story of the two descendants of Adam. Each of them made an offering, and they thought that it was accepted from one of them, but not from the other. The latter, out of jealousy, said, " Surely I will kill you." The former said, "Allah accepts every action of the righteous like an accepted offering."

And relate to them the story of the two sons of Adam with truth when they both offered an offering, but it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. He said: I I will most certainly slay you. (The other) said: Allah only accepts from those who guard (against evil)

And relate to them with truth the story of the two sons of Adam, when they each offered an offering, and it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. The latter said, `I will surely kill thee.' The former replied, `ALLAH accepts only from the righteous
