And many a town was stronger than your own town, which drove you out. We destroyed them, and there was none who could help them

We have destroyed many a town stronger than your own [Prophet]- the town which [chose to] expel you- and they had no one to help them

And many towns were stronger in strength than your town (Makkah) (O Muhammad), which has driven you out, We have destroyed them. There was none to help them.

And many a city, mightier In strength than the city which drave thee forth, We destroyed them, and there was no helper of theirs

How many were the habitations, mightier than your city which has turned you out, which We destroyed; and they did not have a helper

There were many cities (people) stronger than your city, which drove you out! And We destroyed them (imagine)! And there was no one to help them.

And how many a city that was stronger in might than this city which has driven you out have We destroyed, and they have no helper.

How many cities We have destroyed, greater in strength than your city which has driven you out, and there was no one to help them.

How many a township there has been, greater in power (and more abundant in wealth) than your township, which has driven you out, (O Messenger). We destroyed them and they had no helper (against Us)

How many a town there has been which was more powerful than your town which expelled you, which We have destroyed, and they had no helper

(Prophet!) so many townships were more powerful than this your town (of Makkah) which has driven you out, but We destroyed them, and they had no helper

How many a city that was stronger in might than thy city which has expelled thee have We destroyed! And there was no helper for them

And how many towns, which were more powerful than your town which you were driven out of, did We destroy and they had no helper?

I (God) destroyed many stronger nations, than the one which made you to leave your hometown; there was none to save them

And how many cities, with more power than your city which has driven you out, have We caused to perish? And there was none to aid them

And how many of a town which (was) stronger (in) strength than your town which has driven you out We destroyed them so no helper for them

And how many of the towns — that (had been) mightier in power than your town which has driven you out — We have annihilated, so there was no helper unto them

And how many a town had there been which was stronger in strength than thy town which drove thee out, that We have caused to perish? And there was no one who helps them!

And, (O Beloved,) how many a town have We destroyed whose citizens wielded greater power (i.e., resources and authority) than (the residents of) your city (Mecca) whose (powerful chiefs) have driven you out (by emigration)! We have destroyed them as well, and no one came to their help (who could save them)

Many a town, stronger than yours that has expelled you, have We destroyed! Then they found no helpers for themselves

How many a city, stronger than thy city which has driven thee out, have we destroyed, and there was none to help them

And many a township existed which was stronger than your town (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him) - those who removed you from your town - We destroyed them, so they do not have a supporter

And how many a township which were mightier in power than your town [Mecca], which has expelled you [O Muhammad], We destroyed them and there was no helper for them.

How many cities were more mighty in strength than thy city which hath expelled thee; yet have We destroyed them, and there was none to help them

And how many a town which was far more powerful than your town (Mecca) which has driven you out, did We destroy, so there was no helper for them

How many a village mightier than your own village, which has expelled you, We have destroyed there was none to help them

And many a town, stronger than your town (Makkah) (O Muhammad SAW) which has driven you out We have destroyed. And there was none to help them

How many towns have We wiped out which were much stronger than your own town which has expelled you? They had no supporter.

And how many cities were mightier in strength than thy city, which hath thrust thee forth! We destroyed them, and there was none to help them

How many communities have We destroyed that had more power than your community, which drove you out? No one could help them.

(O Prophet), how many are the cities that had greater power than your city that drove you out? We destroyed them and there was none to protect them

And how many a town, more powerful than thy town which has driven thee out -- We destroyed them, so there was no helper for them

And how many towns (were there) which were severer in strength than your town (Mecca) which sent you out, (but) We destroyed them, so there was no helper for them.

And how many a city greater in power than this city [Makkah] of yours which has driven you out, [O Muhammad,] have We destroyed, and then nobody came to help them

And how many from a village/urban city it is stronger (in) strength/power than your village/urban city which brought/drove you out? We destroyed them , so (there is) no victorior/savior for them

And how many a community of greater power than this thy community which has driven thee out, [O Muhammad,] have We destroyed, with none to succour them

And (similarly) how many a town that was more valiant in power than your town, which has driven you out, have We caused to perish! So there was no vindicator for them

And how many a township stronger than thy township (O Muhammad) which hath cast thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper

(Muhammad), how many towns, much more powerful than the one from which you have been expelled, have We destroyed and left helpless

How many a town, stronger in might than your town that has expelled you, have We destroyed! Then, there was none to help them

So many townships more powerful than your town, (Mecca), that has expelled you, We have put an end to the existence of their inhabitants. And there was no helper for them.

We destroyed so many (ancient) towns and there was none to help them.They were more powerful than your town (Mecca) that has expelled you.

There were many towns more powerful than the town that expelled you, yet We destroyed their residents and they had no helper

˹Imagine, O Prophet,˺ how many societies We destroyed that were far superior in might than your society—which drove you out—and there was none to help them!

And how many towns which were stronger than your town, which threw you out, did We destroy and they had no helper.

How many cities were mightier than your own city, which has cast you¹ out! We obliterated them, and there was none to succour them

Many a community was much stronger than the community that evicted you from your town; when we annihilated them, no one could help them.

And how many towns We have destroyed who were greater in power than your town which drove you out? There was no helper for them.

And how many among a village were stronger of power than your village which brought out you? We destroyed them, so there were no victors for them.

And how many a township mightier in power than this your township which has evicted you (O Prophet), have We annihilated! And (then) they had no helper

And how many a town which was far more powerful than the town of yours which has driven you out: We destroyed them so there was no helper for them

And how many a township, mightier than thy town which has driven thee out, have WE destroyed, and they had no helper

And how many cities, with more power than your city (Makkah) that has driven you out, have We destroyed (for the sins of their people)? And there was none to help them

How many towns have We wiped out which were much stronger than your own town which has expelled you? They had no supporter.

How many a city, stronger than your city which expelled you, did We demolish? And there was no helper for them.

How many a town was more powerful than your town which evicted you? We destroyed them, and there was no helper for them

And how many a town greater in strength than thy town which cast thee out have We destroyed, having none then to help them

How many a city, stronger than your city which has driven you out, have We destroyed, and there was no helper for them.

And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them

How many towns We have destroyed, greater in strength than your city which has driven you out, and there was no one to help them

And how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them
