Quran 44 : 33

and We gave them Signs containing a clear trial.

And We gave them signs wherein was a clear trial

And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them

And We displayed to them Our signs. That was an obvious test for them

and bestowed upon them the Signs wherein lay an evident test for them

And We gave them the clear signs in which there was a manifest blessing

And We gave them among the verses, in which there was an obvious trial.

and We brought to them such of the signs in which there was clear trial.

And We gave them some of the signs wherein were (placed) unmixed blessings

and gave them such signs [of Our grace] as would clearly presage a test

And We bestowed upon them signs containing an obvious favour (and a clear trial)

And We had granted them from the signs those in which there is a trial most evident.

And We gave/brought them from the verses/evidences what is in it a clear/evident test

And We brought before them some of the Signs of that wherein (was evident) a plain trial

And (as a favor) We granted them many signs (miracles), in which there was a manifest trial

I showed them so many proofs to test their believe [immediately after having seen the greatest proof, i.e., passage through the Red Sea, they worshiped a cow instead of God.]
