Quran 40 : 75

deserve to be left alone by God to follow the wrong path

all because on earth you revelled in untruth and ran wild

'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant

This is for overindulging and exulting in arrogance on the earth without right.

This is all because you were happy with falsehood in the Earth and lived merrily.

That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently

That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently

There! for 'that ye did rejoice in the land without right; and for that ye did exult

This is because you exulted in the earth baselessly, and because you were frolicking.

-"This for you, because of your unrighteous insolence and immoderate joys on earth

This is because you rejoiced in the earth without right and because you behaved boastfully.

This is on account of you having rejoiced on earth without right and having been triumphant.

“That is because you used to exult upon the earth without right and because you were insolent

This is because you used to rejoice in false doctrines on earth, and you used to promote them.

´That is because you exulted on the earth, without any right to do so; and strutted about.

that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently

That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting

That is because you exulted in the earth without justification, and because you behaved insolently

That was because you used to gloat on the earth without any right, and for what you used to rejoice

That with what you were rejoicing on the earth without the right, and with what you were hilarious.

That was because you used to rejoice in the earth without right and because you used to be insolent

That was because you had been exultant on the earth without right and that you had been glad.

That is because you used to rejoice in the earth without right; and because you used to be exultant.

all because you used to rejoice on earth in things other than the truth, and you were full of vanity.

This (punishment) is the requital of your undue rejoicing in the earth and the recompense of your gloating

That is because you used to exult in the earth without the truth and because you used to walk with conceit.

‘That is because you used to exult unduly on the earth and because you used to walk exultantly.’

“That was because you rejoiced [concerning your sins] on the earth without honesty, and you were insolent.

And they will be told: ‘That is because on earth you took delight in falsehoods, and led a wanton life

(They will be told),˺ “(This punishment) is for being prideful on earth unjustly and for behaving insolently.

(It is said,) "That is because you exulted in the earth unjustly and because you behaved insolently."

That is because you went around the earth rejoicing without having any right to and because you felt so elated.

(And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant

That is because you went around the earth rejoicing without having any right to and because you felt so elated.

(They will be told): "This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it

That is because you used to rejoice on earth in other than the truth, and because you used to behave with vanity

That is because you used to exult in the earth without having the right to do so and because you used to be proud.

(And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy

This is to you because of what you used to enjoy in the earth without right, and because you used to rejoice insolently

“This is the recompense of your being happy upon falsehood in the earth, and the recompense of your conceit.”

That is because you used to rejoice unjustifiably (and excessively) on the earth, and because you used to be self-conceited.

That was because you used to take delight on earth in things other than the Truth, and that you were inclined to act rudely.

"This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent

(It will be said to them,) .This is because you used to rejoice on the earth wrongfully, and because you used to show arrogance

˹They will be told,˺ “This ˹punishment˺ is for being prideful on earth unjustly and for acting arrogantly.

"That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent

(It will be said to them,) `That is because you exulted in the land without any justification and because you behaved with vanity

They will be told, "This (torment) is the result of your unreasonable happiness on the earth and of your propagation of falsehood

[The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently

This hath befallen you, for that ye rejoiced insolently on earth, in that which was false; and for that ye were elated with immoderate joy

“That is because you were accustomed to rejoicing on the earth in things other than the truth, and that you were accustomed to being insolent

This is because in your life on the earth you used to take delight in what was not True, and roamed about haughtily with your false doctrines

(They are told,), "You are in this sorry plight because you used to exult on earth without right, and because you used to be insolent."

this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit

(It will be said): “That was because you used to be delighted in the earth without the right (worship others instead of Allah), and you used to rejoice extremely.

That is (due to the fact) that you used to exult in the earth untruthfully, (Literally: without the truth) and (due to the fact) that you used to live in merriment

(You suffer this plight) because you used to rejoice in the (affairs of the) world without any right (or reason), and because you used to gloat and exult (about falsehood)

That (is) because (of) what you were being happy/rejoiceful/delighted in the earth/Planet Earth without the right/truth , and because (of) what you were being lively and joyful

(It will be said to them,) "That was because you were used to being happy on the earth in things which were not the Truth, and that you were used to being haughty (and disrespectful)

"That (His leading you astray and your punishment) is because you arrogantly exulted on the earth without (sense of the bounds of) right, and because you were arbitrary in your exulting

That was because you had been exulting in the earth without any right (by worshipping others instead of Allah and by committing crimes), and that you used to rejoice extremely (in your error)
