Quran 40 : 39
O my people! Only this, the life (of) the world, (is) enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - it (is the) home, (of) settlement.
يَٰقَوْمِ

إِنَّمَا
Iinnamā
هَٰذِهِ
Haādhihi
ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ
Alḥayawāhu
ٱلدُّنْيَا
Addunyā
مَتَٰعٌ
Mataāʿun
وَإِنَّ
Waiinna
ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ
Alʾākhiraha
هِىَ
Hiāa
دَارُ
Dāru
ٱلْقَرَارِ
Alqarāri
O people, the life of this world is ephemeral; but enduring is the abode of the Hereafter
Oh my people, this worldly life is only a provision, and the hereafter is the lasting abode.
"O my people, this worldly life is but an enjoyment, while the Hereafter is the permanent abode.
My people, this worldly life is only temporary enjoyment, but the Hereafter is the lasting home.
My people, the life of this world is ephemeral, whereas the Hereafter, that is the permanent abode
O my people! this present life is only a passing joy, but the life to come is the mansion that abideth
“O my people, this worldly life is fleeting enjoyment, while the Hereafter is the home of permanence.”
My folk, this worldly life is to be enjoyed only [briefly]; the Hereafter is the Home to settle down in.
My people, the life of this world is only a brief enjoyment; it is the Hereafter that is the lasting home
My people, the life of this world is but a fleeting pleasure; the life to come is the everlasting mansion
O kinfolk, this Dunya (worldly) life is only enjoyment, and surely, the Hereafter, is the settlement home.
"O my people, this first life is a temporary illusion, while the Hereafter is the eternal abode."
O my people, the life of this world is only a temporary provision; and the Hereafter is the permanent abode
O my people, this life of the world is but a (passing) enjoyment, and Hereafter, that is the abode to settle
My people, this worldly life is only the means (to an end), but the life hereafter will be the everlasting abode
My folk, this worldly life is to be enjoyed only [briefly]; the Hereafter is the Home to settle down in.
O My people! this life of the world Is but a possi enjoyment, and verily the Hereafter! that is the Abode of rest
My people, the life of this world is a brief period of enjoyment whilst the Hereafter is the lasting home.
O my people! This, the worldly life is only a provision, but indeed, the hereafter, it is the abode of stability.
O my people! Lo! this life of the world is but a passing comfort, and lo! the Hereafter, that is the enduring home
O my people! this life of the world is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the hereafter is the abode to settle
My people! the life of this world is only fleeting enjoyment. It is the Next World which is the abode of permanence.
O my people, surely this present life is but a passing enjoyment; surely the world to come is the abode of stability
"O my people! This life of the world is only a passing enjoyment, and surely the Hereafter is the enduring home
My people! The life of this world is but a brief enjoyment. Whereas, behold, the Hereafter, that is the Lasting Home
“O my people! This worldly life is but a brief enjoyment, whereas, behold, the life to come is the home abiding
`O my people, this life of the world is but a temporary provision; and the Hereafter is certainly the permanent abode
O my people! The life of this world is but fleeting enjoyment, whereas the Hereafter is truly the Abode of Permanence
O my people! This life of the world is only a [passing] enjoyment, and indeed the Hereafter is the abiding home
'O my people, the life of this world is nothing but fleeting enjoyment, but the Hereafter is the Home of Permanence
O my people Only this the life (of) the world (is) enjoyment and indeed the Hereafter it (is the) home (of) settlement
O my people! verily, the life of this world is but a provision, but, verily, the hereafter, that is the abode of stability
O my people, verily this present life is but a temporary enjoyment; but the life to come is the mansion of firm continuance
“O my people, this present life is nothing but temporary enjoyment. It is the hereafter that is the home that will last.
`O my people! the life of this world is but a provision (of a passing nature), and the Hereafter alone is the permanent home
My people, this world's life is indeed an enjoyment, and the Hereafter is indeed the settlement home (and everlasting home).
“O my people! The life of this world is just a brief usage, and indeed the next abode is one of everlasting stay.”
O my people! The life of this world is nothing but (a few days’) gain, and the Hereafter is certainly a home to live in forever
"O my people! Life of this world is but a temporary provision, and the Hereafter — that is the permanent home."
“O my people, this life of the present is nothing but temporary convenience. It is the hereafter that is the home that will last
O my people, this life of the world is only a (momentary) benefit, while the Hereafter is, indeed, the place of permanent living
O’ my people, indeed, this ‘worldly life’ is nothing but provisions of illusion while the ‘Hereafter’ is truly the Eternal Home.
O’ my people, indeed, this worldly life is no more than provisions of illusion, whereas the Hereafter is truly the eternal home.
O my nation, the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment, but surely, the life of the Everlasting Life is the stable abode
O my people! This worldly life is only ˹a fleeting˺ enjoyment, whereas the Hereafter is truly the home of settlement.
O my people ! this life of the world is only ( a temporary ) provision while the hereafter, that is certainly the home for staying.
"O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) comfort, it is the Hereafter that is the Home that will stay
'O my people; the life of this world is only a temporary enjoyment, and the Hereafter is certainly the home for permanent residence.
O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but an enjoyment, and surely, the Hereafter is the home that will remain forever
"O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last
"O my people! The life of this world is but a (passing) enjoyment, while the Hereafter – that is indeed the home of permanence
O my people! The life of this world is nothing but a temporary enjoyment and truly it is the hereafter that indeed is the permanent home.
O my folk! Truly, this present life is nothing but transitory enjoyment and that the world to come is the stopping place, the Abode.
You my nation, truly this the life the present/worldly life (is) enjoyment , and that truly the end (other life) it is the settlement's house/home
“Know that the life in this world is temporary and will pass fast by; it is the life in our real home in Hereafter which is permanent.”
O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement
"Oh my people, the life of this world is in fact a brief and transient enjoyment. While the afterlife is certainly the place of permanence."
“O my people... This worldly life is only a temporary enjoyment of fleeting pleasures! The eternal life to come is indeed the home of permanent settlement!”
O my nation! Certainly, what (is a fact is that) this worldly life is a (temporary) enjoyment. And definitely, the Hereafter: it is the staying and continuing abode
"O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever."
O my people, surely this present life (Literally: lowly life, i.e., the life of this world) is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the Hereafter is (really) the Home of Residence
