Quran 37 : 98

They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them

They wished him ill, but We made them the losers

They plotted against him but We ruined their plot

They plotted against him, but We humiliated them.

They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all

But as they schemed against him, We brought them low

They tried to outwit him but We made them the lowest.

They made a plot against him, but We humiliated them.

They schemed against him, but we made them the losers.

Thus did they scheme against him: but We abased them all

Fain would they plot against him, but we brought them low

They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones

And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low

And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble

So they sought to outwit him, but We made them the lowermost

They intended a trap for him... But We debased them to the lowest of the low.

So they wanted to use cunning against him, but We made them the lowest.

So they were willing to devise a plot against him; yet We made them the basest

Thus they designed an evil design against him, but WE made them most humiliated

Thus they designed a plan against him, but We made them to be the most humiliated

So they intended an evil design against him, but We made them the most humiliated

So they intended (to lay down) a plot against him but We made them the lower most.

And they devised a plot against him; but We made them the inferior, and delivered him

They wanted to plot against him, so We made them come out on the shorter end of things.

So they intended/wanted a conspiracy/harm with (for) him, so We made/put them the lowest/meanest

(This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated

Thus they sought to undo him through their evil scheme but We caused them to be the ones brought most low.

But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low

So (after having failed; See 21.69), they then took a way (to hurt) against him, but We made them the ones most ashamed

Skillfully, they devised a plan against him, but We made their plans go awry and We humiliated them. We brought them down

They plotted a plan against him and God defeated them in their own plan [as the fire did not have any effect upon Abraham.]

So they attempted to play a trick against Ibrahim (Abraham), but We humiliated them (when the fire eventually turned into a flower garden)

So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him – We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool)
