Quran 37 : 71

most men in the past went astray

And indeed We sent among them warners

Before them erred most of the ancients

previously, most of them were misguided.

So had many an earlier people gone astray

Most primitive men went astray before them,

Most primitive men went astray before them,

Most of the ancients went astray before them

Most of the ancient people had also gone astray

yet before them most of the ancients went astray

And most of the ancients before them went astray

Most of the earlier peoples went astray before them

And most of the ancient people had erred before them

Most of the earlier peoples went astray before them,

but there had erred before them most of those of yore

And most of the ancient peoples had erred before them

Certainly most of the ancients went astray before them

For the greater part of the ancients erred before them

Truly, before them, many ancient people went astray.

And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray

Most of the ancients certainly went astray before them,

And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;

And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them

And most of the ancient peoples did go astray before them

And verily most of the men of old went astray before them

Most of the previous generations have strayed before them.

And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them

Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred

Most of the earlier ones (too) had gone astray before them

And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them

And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them

And before them most of those of old had indeed gone astray

And indeed most of the ancients before them had gone astray.

and indeed most of the ancient people went astray before them

And undoubtedly, most of the ancient went astray before them.

And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray

Also before them the greater number of the ancients had erred

And most of the earliest communities before them went astray.

Most of the earlier generations before them had also deviated.

And assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients

Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them

And they had already strayed before them, most of the ancients.

And verily went astray before them most (of) the former (people)

And, certainly, went astray most of the ancient ones before them.

And the majority of the ancients before them, indeed went astray,

Most of the previous generations have strayed in the same manner.

And most of the first/beginners had been (E) misguided before them

And surely, certainly most of the former people erred before them,

And in fact, most of the former people (also) lost the straight path

And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples

And surely most of the earlier generations had strayed before them,

Indeed, most of those (communities) that lived before them went astray

And surely, indeed most of the earlier people before them went astray

And certainly most of the ancients were on the wrong path before them,

And indeed before them already erred away most of the earliest (people)

And indeed, before them, many (people) from the olden days went astray—

And most of the earlier ones have certainly lost (the right path) before them.

This is how, indeed, most of the people of the old had gone astray before them

(Even though they knew that) the earlier people (blundered and) had gone astray

Their wrong religions were established by those before them to whom God sent…

Indeed, most of the former people before them had also gone astray (from the reality)!
