Quran 37 : 168

'Had we a reminder from those of yor

Had we a reminder from those of yore

“If we had a sermon from the ancients.

If we only had a reminder from early men

"If we only had a reminder from early men

"Had we a reminder from those of yore

If we had but a reminder from the men of ol

Had we but an admonition as had the ancients

'If only we had a reminder from the ancients

We would have been sincere servants of Allah

“Had we with us, a reminder of the ancients,

“If only we had a reminder from those of old

'If we had any admonition from the ancients.'

“If only, we had a reminder from the formers.

'Had we received advice from the ancients

“If we had the Scripture like the past people,

If we had the account of earlier people with us

…“If only we had a message from the ancestors,…

Had we received an Admonition from the ancients

'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients

If that we had a reminder from the former (people)

‘Had we possessed a reminder from the ancients

Had been with us a Remembrance from the ancient ones,

‘If only we had a scripture like previous people

If only we had a reminder from the earlier communities,

'If that with us was a reminder from the former people,

“Had there been with us a remembrance from those of old,

"If only we had a message from those who lived before us,

“If only we had before us a message from those in the past

"If only we had a scripture from the ancestors,"

If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old

`If we had with us a Reminder like that of the people of old

`Had there been with us an exhortation from the people of old

"Had we a revelation transmitted to us from those of old

"If only we had had before us a Message from those of old

´If we had only had a Reminder from the previous peoples,

"Had we received guidance from the people living before us

“If only we had had a Reminder like that of the people of old,

"Had we received the correct instructions from our parents,

"If only we had received a reminder from the previous generations,

“If we had some advice from the earlier generations,”

.Had there been a scripture with us like that of the former people

"If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples

“If only we had received a Scripture like that of the people of old,

If that (E) at us (is) a reminder/remembrance from the first/beginners

“If only we had been passed down the knowledge from our forefathers...”

“If only we had a Reminder like ˹those of˺ earlier peoples,

"If only we have had a Message before us from those (Books) of old

"Like the earlier people, if we had received the (divine) advice,"

"If only We had had a Reminder of the like those who lived before us had

“Indeed, if we had a reminder (or a scripture) from the earlier ones with us,

‘If we (too) had some (Book) of direction and guidance from the bygone people

"If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yor

“If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears

"If only we had a reminder from the old generations, or a Scripture as they had

“If we had a reminder like the people of old received (before the coming of Muhammad)

“Had we received the correct (authentic/pure and nothing added to) guidance from…

"If only we had in our presence a Remembrance (i.e., Scriptures) from the earliest (people)

if we had been favoured with a book of divine revelations, of those which were delivered to the ancients

"If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah)

“If (it be) that (there is available) unto us Zikr (‘Message’) moving down from the earlier people
