Quran 37 : 12

You marvel as they scoff

Are you surprised they mock,

You marvel, while they scoff

While you are awed, they mock.

Nay, you wonder and they jest.

Nay you wonder while they mock

Nay! You wonder while they mock

No, you wonder while they mock.

Nay! you wonder while they mock

But you wonder, while they mock

No, you marvel, while they scoff

Nay! You wonder, while they mock

How you marvel while they mock!

But you wonder, and they ridicule

Yet you are amazed, and they mock.

Nay, thou marvellest; and they scof

Nay, thou dost wonder and they jest

But while thou marvellest they mock

Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff

Nay, thou wonderest, while they mock

Indeed you marvel while they ridicule

No indeed, you wonder, and they scoff

Yet you are amazed and they make fun.

No, you are surprised by their mockery.

But you do wonder and they ridicule it.

Nay, but thou dost marvel when they moc

While you were awed, they simply mocked.

Nay! Thou hadst marveled while they deride.

Nay, but you wondered, while they ridicule.

Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule

Rather, you are surprised while they ridicule.

Indeed, but thou dost marvel, while they scoff

Rather you have been surprised as they sneered;

Rather you have been surprised as they sneered;

Indeed you wonder, while they engage in ridicule

But you express your wonder whilst they make fun

Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking

Nay! You do admire with wonderment while they mock.

No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn

Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff

No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn!

Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff

Nay, you wondered (at Al-Kitab) while they mock (at it)

No wonder you are surprised, to see them ridicule [the message],

Nay, you (Muhammad) wonder while they mock (at you and the Qur’an).

In fact, (Oh prophet)! you are struck with awe, while they just mock

You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it

Nay! Do you wonder while they mock (and make fun of you and the Quran)

(Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations)

Nay, thou dost wonder at what they say, and they ridicule what thou sayest

But you wonder (at their denial), and they mock (at the idea of an Hereafter)

Nay, you wonder (at their disbelief) while they mock at (you and the ‘Qur’ān’).

Whereas you marvel (at this mighty spiritual revelation) they hold you in low estimation

But you wondered/were astonished/were surprised, and they humiliate/mock/undermine/ridicule

In fact, you are astonished ˹by their denial˺, while they ridicule ˹you˺.

Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran)

Thou wondrest at God's power and their obstinacy; but they mock at the arguments urged to convince them

Nay, but whereas you (O Prophet) marvel at the Universe, they mock - and again you marvel at their mocking

Nay! You are amazed (by their persistent and purposeful denial of Resurrection), while they poke fun (at you).

You find all God’s acts wonderful, and their denial strange, but they continue to mock (God’s Message and His Messenger)

Ask the disbelievers, who are created from the mud [organic matter]: “Are they more difficult for God to be recreated [on the Day of Resurrection] or the awesome realm of creation?”
