Quran 3 : 69

A group from the people of the Book wished that they could misguide you, but they only misguide themselves and they do not notice.

It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive

Some of the People of the Book wish to lead you astray but they only lead themselves astray, though they do not realise it

A faction of the people of the Scripture wish they could mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not

A party of the people of the Book wish they could lead you astray, but they only lead themselves astray, and they do not perceive.

A group among the People of the Book wishes to make you go astray; yet they make none go astray but themselves, though they are unaware

A party of the People of the Book would love to lead you astray, but they only lead themselves astray, and they do not realize it

Some People of the Scripture wish to mislead you, but they only mislead themselves without realizing it.

There is a group among the People of the Book, who would like to see you deviate from the path of truth. But they will not be able to deceive anyone into going away from the path of truth except themselves. But they lack the ability to perceive (this truth).

There is a group among the ‘People of the Scripture’, (‘Jews’ & ‘Christians’) who would like to mislead you. But they will not be able to mislead anyone except themselves. But they do lack the ability to perceive that.

Some of the followers of the Scripture wish to convert you to their belief. They do not get it that [by being so fascinated with their own created faith] they are the ones who are unjust to their souls but do not realize it

And a group of the people of the book like to misguide you, but they only misguide themselves and they do not realize it.

There is a party of the People of the Book yearn to make you go astray; yet none they make to stray, except themselves, but they are not aware

(Believers!) a section of the people of the Scripture would fain lead you astray, but it is only the people like themselves that they lead astray, only they perceive not
