Quran 3 : 38

Upon this Zakariya called His Lord, saying: My Lord, give me a good offspring from You, for You hear the prayer.

Therefore prayed Zachariah to his Lord, and said, 'Lord, grant me from Thee a good seed. Verily, Thou hearest prayer.

Thereupon Zachariah supplicated to his Lord, saying: 'Lord, give me from You a good offspring. You hear all prayers.

Then Zachariah prayed to his Lord saying, 'Lord, give me of Thy goodness a goodly offspring. Yea, Thou hearest prayer.

There Zachariah prayed to his Lord, “O my Lord, grant to me from You, good offspring, for You are He Who hears prayer.

There Zacharias called on his Lord, and said, Lord, give me from thee a good offspring, for thou art the hearer of prayer

Therefore prayed Zachariah to his Lord, and said, "Lord, grant me from Thee good seed. Verily, Thou hears prayer."

Then prayed Zachariah to his Lord: "O Lord, bestow on me offspring, virtuous and good, for You answer all prayers."

That is when Zachariah implored his Lord: "My Lord, grant me such a good child; You are the Hearer of the prayers."

[On his old days] Zachariah prayed: “O Lord; You Who Hear the prayers, grant me a righteous child please.”

There did Zakariya pray to his Lord; he said: My Lord! grant me from Thee good offspring; surely Thou art the Hearer of prayer

Zachariah prayed to his Lord there, saying, "Lord, grant me, by Your Grace, virtuous offspring. You hear all prayers"

It was then that Zachariah implored his Lord; he said: "My Lord, grant me from You a good progeny. You are the hearer of prayer."

Thereupon, Zachariah invoked his Lord, saying: “My Lord! Grant me a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.”

There did Zacharias pray to his Lord. He said: My Lord, grant me from Thee goodly offspring; surely Thou art the Hearer of prayer

It was then that Zachariah prayed to his Lord, he said: “My Lord, give me from You a good child, You are the hearer of the calls.”

There Zechariah prayed to his Lord. He said, "Lord, be gracious to me and give me such a blessed child. You certainly hear prayer.

Here Zakaria called his Lord, said, 'O my Lord! Give me from Yourself pure offspring; no doubt, You only are the Hearer of prayers.

At that moment, Zechariah prayed to his Lord: “My Lord, grant me, through Your mercy, a good offspring—You are the Hearer of Prayers.”

There Zachariah called on his Lord, he said, 'My Lord! grant me from yourself a good offspring. Indeed, you are the hearer of prayer.'

Thereupon Zachariah prayed to his Lord, saying, Lord, grant me by Your own grace virtuous offspring. You are the hearer of all prayers

Then Zachariah prayed unto his Lord and said: My Lord! Bestow upon me of Thy bounty goodly offspring. Lo! Thou art the Hearer of Prayer

Thereupon Zacharias prayed to his Lord, saying: ‘Lord, grant me of Your own grace upright descendants. You hear all prayers.‘

Then and there did Zachariah pray to his Lord, saying, `My Lord grant me from Thyself pure offspring; surely thou art the Hearer of Prayer.

Then and there, Zachariah called upon his Lord. He said, “My Lord, grant me from Thy Presence a good progeny. Truly Thou hearest all calls!

There and then Zachariah prayed to his Lord, saying, ‘Lord, from Your grace grant me virtuous offspring: You hear every prayer.’

Thereat Zechariah supplicated his Lord. He said, ‘My Lord! Grant me a good offspring from You! Indeed You hear all supplications.’

There only invoked Zakariya his Lord he said My Lord grant [for] me from Yourself offspring pure Indeed, You (are) All-Hearer (of) the prayer

With that Zachariah appealed to his Lord; he said: 'My Lord, grant me goodly offspring from Your presence, for You are the Hearer of Appeals."

Forthwith Zakariyya prayed unto his Lord my Lord bestow on me from Thine presence a goodly offspring; verily Thou! Thou art the Hearer of prayer

There did Zakariyya pray to his Fosterer saying, "O my Fosterer! grant me from Yourself good offspring, You are certainly the Hearer of prayer."

Whereupon Zachariah prayed to his Lord. He said, "My Lord! Grant me a righteous child from You. You do, indeed, listen to the prayer!"

There did Zakariya pray to his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant unto me from Thee a progeny that is pure: for Thou art He that heareth prayer

Thereupon, Zechariah called his Lord; he said, “My Lord, endow me from Your presence a good offspring; surely You are hearer of the supplication.”

Thereupon Zechariah prayed to his Lord; he said, 'My Lord, bestow on me good offspring from Your presence; You are the Hearer of Prayers.'

Then and there Zakariyya called on his Lord and said, ´O Lord, grant me by Your favour an upright child. You are the Hearer of Prayer.´

There Zechariah called to his Lord. He said: My Lord! Bestow on me good offspring from Thy Presence. Truly, Thou art hearing the supplication.

Thereupon Zachariah called out on his Lord. He said, “O my Lord! Grant me from your presence a goodly progeny. Truly You are Hearer of the supplication.”

With that Zachariah appealed to his Lord; he said: ´My Lord, grant me goodly offspring from Your presence, for You are the Hearer of Appeals."

Right then, Zakariah prayed to his Lord saying, "My Lord, grant me by Your grace a virtuous son. Indeed, You are the One Who hears the prayers!"

At that, Zechariah called upon his Lord, saying, "My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication."

Standing there in a state of bliss, Zakariyya prayed to his Lord, saying, “My Lord, kindly grant me a righteous child. You are the Hearer of prayers.”

It is here that Zakaria prayed to his Lord; he said, “My Lord! Give me from Yourself a righteous child; indeed You only are the Listener Of Prayer.”

Thereupon, Zakariyya prayed to his Lord. He said: .O my Lord, grant me from Your own (power) a goodly progeny. Verily, You are the One who listens to the prayer

There [in the prayer room], Zachariah prayed to his Lord, saying, “My Lord, grant to me, from Your grace, the gift of a good child. Certainly, You hear prayer.”

There did Zacharias call upon his Lord: "O my Lord!" said he, "vouchsafe me from thyself good descendants, for thou art the hearer of prayer."

Then and there did Zachariah pray to his Lord saying, `My Lord! grant me, by Your Own grace, pure and pious descendant, You alone are indeed the Hearer of prayers.

At that time Zakariya (Zachariya) invoked his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation."

There where ‘Zachariah’ implored and prayed to his Lord, saying: "O’ my Lord, grant me from You a virtuous offspring. Indeed, You are the All-Hearer of supplication."

Then and there Zachariah prayed to his Lord, saying, “My Lord! Grant me—by your grace—righteous offspring. You are certainly the Hearer of ˹all˺ prayers.”

Then Zechariah prayed to his Lord: ´O Lord! Grant me from Yourself out of Your grace the gift of a goodly offspring, for indeed You alone heed all Prayers.´

Seeing a lovely child grow before his eyes, Zechariah prayed to his Lord, "My Lord! Bless me by bestowing upon me a good child; You are the Hearer of prayer."

There where Zachariah implored and prayed to his Lord, saying: "O’ my Lord, grant me from You a virtuous offspring. Most certainly You are the All-Hearer of supplication".

Then did Zakariyya (Zachariah) pray to his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant to me from You, a generation that is pure: (For) You are He Who hears the (call and) prayer!"

At that point, Zachariah turned to his Lord in prayer and said: "My Lord, bestow upon me out of Your grace a good, upright offspring. Truly, You are the Hearer of prayer."

Thereover Zakariyya (Zechariah) invoked his Lord (and) said, "Lord! Bestow upon me from very close to You a goodly offspring. Surely You are The Ever-Hearer of invocation."

At that place and time Zachary called his Lord, he said: "My Lord grant/present for me, from at you good descendants, that you are hearing/listening (to) the call/request/prayer."

At the same place, Zakariyya (Zacharias) supplicated his Lord. He submitted: ‘O my Lord, bless me, out of Your Grace, with a virtuous and pure offspring. Surely, You alone hear the supplication.

In that self-same place, Zachariah prayed unto his Sustainer, saying: "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me [too], out of Thy grace, the gift of goodly offspring; for Thou, indeed, hearest all prayer."

Thereupon Zachariah prayed to his Rabb, “My Rabb, grant me from Your ladun (the potential of the Names comprising my essence) a pure offspring. You are certainly the hearer of my prayer (perceiver of my introspection).

Then and there Zakariyya invoked his Nourisher-Sustainer. He said: “My Nourisher-Sustainer! Grant for me, from Your bounty, an offspring, pure and chaste. Without doubt, You are the All-Hearer to invocation.”
