Quran 29 : 3

We tested those before them. Allah knows the truthful and the liars.

We tested those before them. God will certainly discern the truthful from the liars.

We tested those before them so that Allah would know the truthful and would know the liars.

We tried those who have gone before them. Allah knows those who are truthful and those who lie

We had tried those who were before them so that God knew who spoke the truth, and who were liars

We have tested those before them. God will surely know the truthful, and He will surely know the liars

We tested those who have gone before them. God surely knows the truthful, and He surely knows the liars

We did test those before them, and Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false

We have tested the ones who preceded them. God knows the ones who are truthful and He will recognize liars.

We tested those who went before them: God will certainly mark out which ones are truthful and which are lying

We tested those before them, and God will certainly make known those who are truthful from those who are liars

Lo! We tested those who were before you. Thus Allah knoweth those who are sincere, and knoweth those who feign

We tested others before them, and Allah recognizes those who are true, and He recognizes those who are false.

We have tested those before them, for GOD must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.

We indeed tested those before them – so Allah will surely test the truthful, and will surely test the liars

And indeed We tried those before them, so Allah will certainly know those who are true and He will know the liars

We had certainly tried those who lived before them to make sure who were truthful in their faith and who were liars

We have tested the ones who preceded them. Allah (God) knows the ones who are truthful and He will recognize liars.

We have tested those who lived before them, so God will note those who prove to be truthful, and will note the liars.

And We have tested those before them, so God certainly knows those who are truthful, and He certainly knows the liars.

We had tested those before them, so that God would distinguish those who are truthful and so that He would know the liars

we did try those who were before them, and God will surely know those who are truthful, and He will surely know the liars

And We have already infatuated those before them. So, Allah will know those who are truthful, and He will know the liars.

And certainly We tried those before them, so Allah will certainly know those who are true and He will certainly know the liars

though We have indeed tried those who were before them? Surely God knows those who are truthful, and surely He knows the liars

We certainly tried those that were before them, and assuredly God knows those who speak truly, and assuredly He knows the liars

We did try those who were before you, and Allah will surely know those who are sincere, and He will surely know those who feign

We heretofore proved those who were before them; for God will surely know them who are sincere, and He will surely know the liars

for We indeed tested those who went before them? Allah will most certainly ascertain those who spoke the truth and those who lied

And, certainly, We tried those who were before them. Then, certainly, God knows those who were sincere and knows the ones who lie.

We had certainly tested those before them. Allah definitely has to sift those who are true to their words from those who are liars

And undoubtedly, We tested those before them, therefore Allah will necessarily, see the truthful and will necessarily, see the liars

And indeed, We tried those who were before them, and God will surely know those who are truthful, and He will surely know the liars.

And We did test those before them. And then Allah does certainly know those that are truthful and He does certainly know those that lie

And WE did try those who were before them. So ALLAH will, assuredly, know those who are truthful and HE will, assuredly, know the liars

And assuredly We have tempted those who were before them. So Allah will surely know those who are true and He will surely know the liars

Indeed We have tested those who were before them. So Allah will surely know the ones who are truthful, and He will surely know the liars

And We indeed, did test those who were before them, so that Allah will indeed know, those who are true and He will know those who are liars

And We had tested those who (were) from before them, so God knows (E) those who were truthful, and He knows (E) the liars/deniers/falsifiers

We certainly tried those who have gone before them, so God will certainly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are lying

And We did test those before them, that Allah may definitely know (mark out) those who are truthful and definitely know (mark out) the lairs.

Certainly We tested those who were before them. So Allah shall surely ascertain those who are truthful, and He shall surely ascertain the liars

But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars

We put to proof those who lived before them; for God will surely take knowledge of those who are sincere, and will surely take knowledge of the liars

And We did indeed try those who were before them so Allah will surely mark out those who are truthful and will surely mark out those who are the liars.

We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars.

Yes, indeed, We did test those who lived before them. And so, most certainly, Allah will distinguish between those who are truthful from those who are liars

Verily, We have led those before them into temptation, so Allâh will certainly identify the ones who are true; and will certainly identify the ones who are liars.

And indeed We already tempted the ones that were even before them, so indeed Allah definitely knows the ones who (act) sincerely, and indeed Allah definitely knows the liars

And indeed We tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make it known those who are telling the truth and will certainly make it known those who are liars.

And surely, We tried (also) those who were before them. Allah will certainly show up (through trial) those who are truthful (in claiming beliefs), and shall make the liars (as well) stand out

The believers before them were subjected to the hardship to pass the test in spite of the fact that God knew in advance which one of them was a true believer (and which one pretending to be a believer.

Verily, We allowed those before them to go through trials and hardships. Allâh will certainly bring to light those who are truthful about their Faith and those who have made a false profession of Faith.

And indeed We tested those who (were) before them (were) before them And Allah will surely make evident And Allah will surely make evident those who (are) truthful and He will surely make evident the liars

Whereas We did already try those who were before them with hardships. Allah will surely bring to light those who are true in their faith as He will bring to light also the liars (by putting them into troubles)

And surely, indeed We put to test and trial those before them. And surely, Allah will make known those who remained true (to the requirements of the Faith) and surely He will make known (all) those who are liars

We certainly tested those who preceded them. (This is Our unchanging way) so that God will certainly mark out those who prove true (in their profession of faith) and He will certainly mark out those who prove false

Indeed, those before them were also tested with objects of trial... Allah (not an external god-deity but their very essential reality) certainly knows and will expose those who are truthful (to their word) and those who are liars.

Yea, indeed, We did test those who lived before them; and so, [too, shall be tested the people now living: and] most certainly will God mark out those who prove themselves true, and most certainly will He mark out those who are lying

And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars, (although Allah knows all that before putting them to test)
