And they rejected them, while their souls knew, out of transgression and arrogance. So see how it ended for the wicked

They denied them, in their wickedness and their pride, even though their souls acknowledged them as true. See how those who spread corruption met their end

They rejected them (Verses) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their own selves were convinced of them. So see how was the end of the evil-doers.

And they gainsaid them, out of spite and arrogance, although their souls were convinced thereof. So behold! what hath been the end of the corruptors

Even though they felt close to and certain (about the realities Moses expounded to them) they deliberately denied it, wrongfully and out of arrogance... Look and see how the corrupters ended up!

And out of vanity and wickedness, they rejected them straight away whilst their hearts had accepted these (signs as true). So see how (evil) was the end of the evildoers

Their hearts were convinced, but they still rejected it unjustly and with arrogance. Now, see what became of the mischief mongers

and they gainsaid them - though their souls made sure of them - unjustly, haughtily; but, behold what was the end of the evildoers

And they denied them - whereas in their hearts they were certain of them - due to injustice and pride; therefore see what sort of fate befell the mischievous

So see what was the end of the Mufsidoon (disbelievers, disobedient to Allah, evil-doers, liars.)

They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers

And they knowingly denied it unjustly and proudly while they were certain about it (in) their souls (minds). Then see how the end of those who were corrupt, was (brought about).

And, though their minds were convinced of their genuineness, they wickedly and arrogantly refused to accept those as signs. And behold what happened in the end to those corrupt people

And they disbelieved and denied with it, and their selves became sure/certain of it, unjustly/oppressively and height, might and dignity, so look/see how was the corruptings' end/turn (result)

- and in their wickedness and self-exaltation they rejected them, although their minds were convinced of their truth: and behold what happened in the end to those spreaders of corruption
