Quran 26 : 40
That we may follow the magicians if they are the victorious?"
لَعَلَّنَا
Laʿallanā
نَتَّبِعُ
Nattabiʿu
ٱلسَّحَرَةَ
Assaḥaraha
إِن
Iin
كَانُوا۟
Kānūa
هُمُ
Humu
ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
Alghaālibīna
“…so we may follow the sorcerers if they win?”
And it was said to the people, "Will you gather,
so that we might follow the magicians if they win?"
Haply, we may follow these magicians if they over come.
so that we may follow the magicians if they prevail?”
So we can follow the magicians if they are the winners?
We may follow the sorcerers if they win the day.‘
`So we may follow the sorcerers if they are the winners?
“So that we may follow the illusionists’ way if they win?
Belike we may follow the magicians if they are the winners
That we may follow the magicians if they are the winners.”
so that we may follow the sorcerers if they are victorious?
so that we may follow the magicians, if they be the winners
haply we may follow the sorcerers if we gain the upper hand.
so that we may follow the sorcerers once they have won out?"
"Perhaps we can follow the magicians if they are the winners.
So that we may follow the sorcerers if they are the winners.”
so we can follow the magicians if they are the winners?´
Haply we may follow the magicians, if they are the vanquishers
Perhaps we will follow the magicians if they are the victors.”
Perhaps we may follow the magicians, if they do get the victory
Haply may we follow the enchanters, if they are the vanquishers
They replied, “We’ll follow the magicians, if they win.”
That we may follow the magicians, if they are the winners.'
that haply we may follow the sorcerers if they are the victors?
Perhaps we may follow the magicians if they gain the upperhand.
`So that we may follow the sorcerers if they win clear supremacy.
“If the magicians win, we may follow their religion.”
so that we may follow the sorcerers once they have won out?"
"So that if the magicians triumph, we will follow them."
That we may follow the magicians if it is they who are the victors.
That we may follow the magicians if they are they are the victorious
in order that we shall follow the sorcerers if they are the victors.
That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?"
Perhaps we may be following the magicians, if they are the overcomers.”
That we may follow (the religion of) the magicians, if they win?”
"That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?"
“If they prevail we will probably follow the magicians” said the people.
-"Yes! and we will follow the magicians if they gain the day."
"Maybe we will follow the magicians, if they are the winners."
Haply we shall follow the sorcerers if it should be they are the victors.
‘Are you all coming? We may follow the sorcerers if they win!’
We may perhaps follow the religion of the magicians if they triumph."
"So that we might cheer the magicians if it is they who prevail?"
(They said): Aye, so that we may follow the wizards if they are the winners
‘Maybe we will follow the magicians, should they be the victors!’
(They said), "Aye, so that we may follow the magicians if they win."
(They said): "We may haply follow the magicians if they are victorious."
They say, “We may follow (the faith of the magicians) if they become victorious.”
They say: “We may follow (the faith of the magicians) if they become victorious’.
Maybe/perhaps we follow the magicians/sorcerers, if they, they were, the defeaters
Perchance we may follow the sorcerers if they became: they (very ones) as winners?”
The people said, “Perhaps we may follow the magicians if they are victorious.”
Pharaoh continued, "So that when the debaters win, we carry them in a procession."
so that perhaps we follow the ones who are sorcerers if they had been the ones who are victors?
so that we might follow [in the footsteps of] the sorcerers if it is they who prevail?”
"We are expecting that the sorcerers will triumph and we will follow them (in their religion)."
That possibly we would closely follow the sorcerers, in case they are the ones who are the overcomers?"
So that we may follow (the din [religion] of) the sorcerers if they overmaster (Musa [Moses] and Harun [Aaron]).
"That we may follow the sorcerers (who were on Firauns (Pharaoh) religion of disbelief) if they are the winners."
and the people were asked, "Will you all be there so that we may follow the magicians if they become victorious?"
