Quran 26 : 157
But they hamstrung her, then they became regretful.
فَعَقَرُوهَا
Faʿaqarūhā
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟
Faaṣbaḥūa
نَٰدِمِينَ
Naādimīna
But the hamstrung her, then regretted

But (after a time, being unable to put up with it any longer,) they cruelly slaughtered her, and then became regretful
But they killed her and made way for their own humiliation. (The usual rendering here of FAASBAHOO NADIMEEN that they regretted, repented or became penitent seems to be incorrect, since in that case the Most Gracious might have forgiven them)
