And verily, they have come upon the town which was showered (with) a rain (of) evil. Then do not they [were] see it? Nay, they are not expecting Resurrection.


25:40 Arabic

وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَى ٱلْقَرْيَةِ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ ٱلسَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا۟ يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا

25:40 Transliteration

Walaqad ataw AAala alqaryati allatee omtirat matara alssaw-i afalam yakoonoo yarawnaha bal kanoo la yarjoona nushooran

Andthey have come upon the town that was showered with a miserable shower. Did they not see it? No, they do not expect any resurrection
