Quran 23 : 114
He will say, "Not you stayed but a little, if only you [you] knew.
قَٰلَ
Qaāla

لَّبِثْتُمْ

قَلِيلًا
Qalīlana
لَّوْ

أَنَّكُمْ
Aannakum
كُنتُمْ
Kuntum
تَعْلَمُونَ
Taʿlamūna
He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew
He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know
God will say, Ye have tarried but a while, if ye knew it
He will say, “You tarried but a little, if you but knew.
He will say: You tarried but a little -- if you only knew
He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know
HE will say, `You tarried but a little, if only you knew !
He will say, “You stayed only a little only if you did know.
He will say, 'You tarried not except a little, did you know.
He will say: you stayed only a little while if you had known.
He will say, "You stayed but a little, if only you had known.
He said: "You have remained for very little, if only you knew.
He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew
He will say: “You only stayed a little while, if only you knew.
He will say Not you stayed but a little if only you [you] knew
He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it)
He will say, “You stayed not even close to that, if you only knew
Allâh will say: "You tarried but a little, if you had only known!
Allâh will say: "You tarried but a little, if you had only known!
He will say, You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew
He will say, ‘You stayed but a little, if you had only known
He will say, "You have only tarried a little, if you but knew
He will say, “You stayed only a little, if you only realized it.
He said, “You remained there only a short while, if only you knew!”
He will say, 'Ye have only tarried a little, were ye but to know it
He will say, "You stayed but only a little, if you knew."
He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known
He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that
Allah said, 'you stayed not but little, if you would have knowledge'.
He will say, ‘You only remained a little; if only you had known
He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that
He will say: ‘Brief indeed was your sojourn, if you but knew it
(Allah) will say: “You stayed not but a little, if you had only known!
Allah will say, “You spent but a short while, if only you knew.
He will say, “In fact, you stayed only a little—if only you had known.
He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known
He will say, “You only remained for a little while, if only you knew.
He will say: "You only lasted a little while, if you only realized it.
He will say, 'You remained only for a little while, if you only knew
He said, "In fact, you stayed but a brief interim, if you only knew.
He said, “Surely you were not tarried except a little, if you were knowing.
He will say: "You only lasted a little while, if you only realized it.
God will say, "Short indeed was the time ye tarried, if that ye knew it
He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known
He will say, "You stayed only a little, if you had only realized then!"
He will say, ´You only tarried there for a little while if you did but know!
He said: You lingered in expectation not but a little. If you had but been knowing.
(Allah) will say: ‘You stayed there but very little. Would that you knew (it there)!
He will say: "You stayed only for a little (while)— If you had only known
The Lord would say, "You did stay but a little — had you but known it."
Allah will say, "You stayed for just a short while! If you had only realized!"
They will say, "We stayed for a day or part of a day but ask those who keep the account."
He will say, "You have decidedly lingered (nothing) except a little, if (only) you knew
(Allah) said: “You stayed not but very little — if that you, you had been knowing
He said: "That truly that you stayed/remained except little , if that you were knowing."
He will say, .You did not stay but for a little. Would that you had understood (this at that time)
God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time
Says He: "You stayed but for a short while, if only you had known (how short it was to be and acted accordingly)
(God) will say, `You tarried but a little while, if only you knew (what loss you have incurred by missing doing good)
[Whereupon] He will say: “You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]
The Lord will say: “So, you realize that it was only a short stay (and was not worth it to exchange it for the eternity.)”
