Quran 23 : 113
They will say, "We remained a day or a part (of) a day; but ask those who keep count."
قَالُوا۟
Qālūa
لَبِثْنَا
Labithnā
يَوْمًا
Yawmana
أَوْ
Aaw
بَعْضَ
Baʿḍa
يَوْمٍ
Yawmin
فَسْـَٔلِ
Fasali
ٱلْعَآدِّينَ
Alʿaaddīna
They will say, “We spent a day or so. Ask those who keep count.”
He will say, "How long did you stay in the earth, counting in years?"
They will say, “We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who count.”
They will say, 'We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask the Numberers.
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask the timekeepers."
-They will say we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count
They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count.
They will say: we stayed a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count.
They said, “We tarried a day, or part of a day; so, ask the counting ones.”
They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!
They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, ask those who keep account.
They will say: “We stayed for a day or part of a day, so ask those who count.”
They will answer, “We stayed for a day or part of a day; ask those who count.”
They will say, We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count
They said, "We lasted a day or part of a day. Ask those who counted."
They said, 'We stayed for a day or part of a day, therefore ask those who count.
They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account
They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count
They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account
They will say, “We tarried a day or part of a day. But ask those who keep count.
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask the timekeepers."
They will say, 'We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep count.'
They will say We remained a day or a part (of) a day but ask those who keep count
They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, ask those who know how to count.”
Theysaid: "We remained for a day, or for part of a day. So ask those who kept count.
They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers."
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Thus, ask the ones who enumerate."
They will say: ‘A day, or possibly less. Ask those who have kept count.‘
They will say, `We tarried for a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep count.
They said: “We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who keep account.”
They will say, "We were there a day or part of a day; ask those who keep track of it."
They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
They said: We lingered in expectation a day or some of a day. So ask the ones who count.
They will reply: "We stayed a day or part of a day: ask the ones who have kept account."
They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count."
They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. But ask those who keep count."
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account."
They will say, 'We remained a day, or part of a day; but ask those who keep count.'
They will say, "We tarried a day, or part of a day; but ask the recording angels."
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: But ask those who keep account."
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account."
They will say: “We stayed a day or part of a day. So ask of those who keep account (angels).”
They will say, "We tarried but a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep count."
They will answer, We have continued there a day, or part of a day: but ask those who keep account
They will say, ´We tarried there for a day or part of a day. Ask those able to count!´
They will say, “[It seems that] we stayed a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account.”
They said: "We stayed/remained a day or part (of) a day , so ask/question the counting."
and they will reply, ‘We stayed a day or a part of a day, but ask those who keep count.’
They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this."
They will say, ‘We remained for a day, or part of a day; yet ask those who keep the count.’
They will reply, “We remained ˹only˺ a day or part of a day. But ask those who kept count.”
They will say: ‘We might have stayed there a day or part of a day, but ask those who work out statistics.
They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count"
They would say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. We are not sure. So ask those who keep count."
They say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who are able to keep count of this."
They will say, .We stayed for a day or for a part of a day. So, ask those (angels) who have (exact) calculation
They will say, "We have lingered a day, or part (Literally: Some (part) of a day, so ask the numberers."
They will reply: “It seems like a day or even half a day. Please ask those who take care of accounting!”
They will say, `We tarried only for a day or part of a day (we have no exact idea), but ask those who keep the count.
They shall reply, "We stayed only a day or part of a day. Ask those who are (given the task of) maintaining accounts."
They will answer: ‘We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time] …&rdquo
