Quran 21 : 46
And if touches them a whiff of (the) punishment (of) your Lord, surely they will say, "O woe to us! Indeed, we [we] were wrongdoers."
وَلَئِن
Walaiin
مَّسَّتْهُمْ
Mmassathum
نَفْحَةٌ
Nafḥahun
مِّنْ
Mmin
عَذَابِ
ʿAdhābi
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
لَيَقُولُنَّ
Layaqūlunna
يَٰوَيْلَنَآ
Yaāwaylanaa
إِنَّا
Iinnā
كُنَّا
Kunnā
ظَٰلِمِينَ
Ẓaālimīna
If a mere puff of your Lord’s punishment strikes them they say, “It’s too bad for us; we were wrong.
And when a hint of the punishment of your Lord touches them, they say, woe to us, we were wrongdoers.
And if a whiff among your Lord’s torment touched them, they would say, “Woe to us, we were oppressors.”
Andif a trace of the torment of your Lord touches them, they will say: "Woe to us, we have been wicked!"
If only a breath of the wrath of your Lord touches them, they will then say, “Woe to us! We truly sinned!”
When a sample of your Lord's retribution afflicts them, they readily say, "We were indeed wicked."
And if a blast of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they shall say: “Woe to us, indeed we were wrongdoers.”
If but a breath of thy Lord's chastisement touched them, they would surely say, 'Alas for us! We were evildoers.
If even a gust of the punishment of your Lord reaches them, they will then say, “Woe to us, we did wrong indeed.
yet if even a breath of your Lords punishment touched them, they would say, Woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers
And when a breath of your Lord's punishment touches them, they say, 'Woe to us, we were truly wicked.'
And if a breath of the torment of thy Lord were to touch them, they will say: woe unto us! we have been wrong-doers
But if just a breath of your Lord's punishment were to touch them, they would say: 'Woe for us, we were harmdoers!
And if a blast of the chastisement of thy Lord were to touch them, they would say: O woe to us! Surely we were unjust
If a blast of the torment of your Lord strikes them, they will say, "Woe to us! We have been unjust people."
If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!"
But if a blast of the torment of thy Lord touches them, they will surely say, 'O, woe is us! verily, we were wrong-doers!
If even a touch of your Lord’s punishment were to touch them, they would cry out, “Woe to us, we were indeed wrongdoers.”
Say, "I warn you only according to the communication (I receive), but the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned."
Yet, if but a whiff of your Lord's punishment should touch them, they would surely say, "Woe to us! We have been unjust."
And if the slightest punishment of your Lord befalls them they would surely cry out, `Ah, Woe to Us! We were indeed unjust.
And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers
If a whiff of your Lord‘s torment were to touch them, they would certainly say, .Alas to us! We were wrongdoers indeed
And even if a breath of Thy Lord's punishment touch them, they will surely cry out, `Woe to us ! we were indeed wrongdoers.
Indeed, if only a waft of the suffering touched them from their Rabb, they would say, “Woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers.”
if a breath from your Lord's torment should ever touch them, they would say: "It's too bad for us! We have been doing wrong."
Yet if the least breath of the punishment of thy Lord touch them, they will surely say, alas for us! Verily we have been unjust
And if a blast of the chastisement of your Lord were to touch them, they will certainly say: O woe to us! surely we were unjust
And if touches them a whiff of (the) punishment (of) your Lord surely they will say O woe to us Indeed, we [we] were wrongdoers
If even a single waft of the punishment were to touch them, they would say, ´Alas for us! We were indeed wrongdoers.´
If (even) a minor calamity from your Lord is to really touch them, they will surely say: ‘Woe to us. Certainly, we were the unjust.
And if but a breath of thy Lord’s Punishment were to touch them, they would surely say, “Oh, woe unto us. Truly we were wrongdoers.
yet if a mere breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they will be sure to cry, ‘Woe to us! We were wrong!’
But if a breath of the Wrath of your Lord touches them, they will surely say, "O, woe is us! Verily, we were wrong-doers!"
Even if a whiff of the Lord's chastisement were to touch them they would surely say: "Ah woe, alas, we were surely sinful."
And if a breath of the torment of your Lord touch them then necessarily, they will say, Oh! Alas for us, undoubtedly, we were unjust.'
If they were touched by even a breath of your Lord’s torment, they would certainly cry, “Woe to us! We have really been wrongdoers.”
And if only a breath of the punishment from your Lord touches them, they will then say: "Misery to us! Truly, we did wrong!"
And if a breath afflicted them of punishment of thy Lord, they would, surely, say: O woe to us! Truly, we had been ones who are unjust.
And if a breath of your Lord's retribution were to touch them, they would say, "Oh, woe unto us! Verily, we were wrongdoers!"
And if a breath (minor calamity) of punishment of your Lord touches them, surely they will cry: “Woe to us! Surely, we were wrongdoers.”
And if a breath of the punishment of your Lord touches them, surely they will definitely say, 'O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers.'
Should a whiff of your Lord’s punishment touch them, they will surely say, ‘Woe to us! We have indeed been wrongdoers!’
Yet if a breath of thy Lord's chastisement touch them, they will assuredly say, "Oh! woe to us! we have indeed been offenders."
Even if a whiff of Our punishment were to hit them, they would surely cry out, "Oh misery to us, we were indeed the evil doers!"
And if a whiff of your Lord’s punishment were to touch them, they would certainly say, "Woe to us - we were indeed unjust!"
And if a blow/breath from your Lord's torture touched them, they will say (E): "Oh our calamity , we (E) were unjust/oppressive."
And if punishment of your Lord were to touch them even slightly, they would certainly say, "O woe to us! We did indeed commit wrong."
Yet if the lightest whiff from the vengeance of your Lord touched them, they would surely say: ‘Woe betide us: we have done wrong!‘
And yet, if but a breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they are sure to cry: "Oh, woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers!"
if a breath from your Lord´s torment should ever touch them, they would say: "It´s too bad for us! We have been doing wrong."
Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord´s punishment to touch them, they would cry out: "Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers."
And yet, if but a breath of thy Sustainer’s chastisement touches them, they are sure to cry, “Oh, woe unto us! Verily, we were evildoers!”
And indeed in case a gust of your Lord's torment touched them, indeed they would definitely say, "O, woe to us! Surely we were an unjust (people)."
And if [as much as] a whiff of the punishment of your Lord should touch them, they would surely say, "O woe to us! Indeed, we have been wrongdoers."
And surely, if (even) a breath out of the torment of your Nourisher-Sustainer touched them, indeed they will cry out:'Woe unto us, certainly we have been transgressors.
But if a breath from the punishment of your Lord was to touch them, they would most certainly say, “Woe unto us we indeed were those who used to wrong their own souls.”
And if a breath (minor calamity) of the Torment of your Lord touches them, they will surely cry: "Woe unto us! Indeed we have been Zalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.)
When they are subjected to the slightest punishment of the Lord, they (the same people who jokingly ask for the punishment of God) cry: “Pity on us. We were indeed wrong.”
If it should happen that a (small) breath of the chastisement of your Lord touches them, they would definitely cry: "Woe unto us! Certainly we have been grossly unfair and morally wrong.”
If it happens that a whiff of the chastisement of your Lord touched them, they will surely say: ‘Ah! Woe betide us! We were of those who have voluntarily and consciously abandoned the Full Knowledge of the Truth in favour of their own whims.
