And he followed a way

With these he travele

And a route he followed

So he followed a course

So he pursued a matter.

So he followed a course

One such way he followed

He went in one direction

So he followed a course

Then he took another way

Thus he pursued one way.

So he followed the means.

Then, he pursued one way.

So, he followed a reason.

One (such) way he followed

So he travelled a course,

He pursued a certain course

So he followed a certain roa

So he followed a way —

He journeyed on a certain roa

He therefore pursued a purpose

He then continued his journey.

Then (it so happened that) he launched out on a (particular) course (to the western part of his empire)

Zul-Qarnain, (King Cyrus the great of Persia, 590-529 B.C.) set out for an expedition. He chose the right means in whatever he did

Then He (started to expand his kingdom and) moved to the far west and saw the sun setting in a vast ocean. He found a nation there. I revealed to him: “You may rule as you wish. …
