Quran 13 : 12

It is He who makes the lightning flash for fear and hope, and raises massive clouds

It is He Who shows you the lightning for fear and hope and raises the heavy clouds.

He is who shows you the lightning in fear and hope and makes the heavy clouds grow.

It is He who shows you the lightning, for fear and hope, and produces the heavy clouds

It is He who shows you the lightning, for fear and hope, and Who produces laden clouds

He it is Who showeth you the lightning, a fear and a hope, and raiseth the heavy clouds

It is He who shows you lightning, causing fear and hope, and produces the heavy clouds.

It is He Who shows you the lightning, and you observe it with fear and anticipation. He initiates the clouds heavy with rain

He it is, Who shows you the lightning to induce fear and to inspire hope (in you); and (it is He) Who raises the heavy clouds

It is He who causeth the lightening to appear unto you, to strike fear, and to raise hope, and Who formeth the pregnant clouds

HE IT IS who displays before you the lightning, to give rise to [both] fear and hope, and calls heavy clouds into being

It is He Who causes you to see the lightning in fear and in hope. And it is He Who causes the clouds to grow heavy,

He it is who shows you the lightning, a fear and hope; and He brings up the clouds heavy (with quickening, life-giving, fertilizing) rain

It is He Who shows you the lightning as a fear (for travelers) and as a hope (for rain). It is He who brings up the heavy clouds (with water).

It is He Who doth show you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope: It is He Who doth raise up the clouds, heavy with (fertilising) rain

He is the One Who, to rouse in you (sometimes) fear and (some other times) hope, shows you lightning, and (at times) raises (rain-laden) heavy clouds

He it is Who shows you the heavenly lightning, being a sign of fear as well as hope. And He originates the clouds becoming heavy (being laden with water)

He it is Who displays before you the lightning, giving rise to both fear (of being struck) and hopeful expectation (of rain), and builds the clouds heavy (with rain)

It is He who shows you lightning, both for dread [of potential danger] and optimism [for the promise of rain]. It is He who causes clouds to form and become heavy.

He it is Who displays before you the lightning, to cause fear and hope, and initiates heavy clouds. (Similarly, the Light of Guidance brings to you the warning and a good tiding.

It is He who shows you the lightning, as a fear (for travellers) and as a hope (for those who wait for rain). And it is He Who brings up (or originates) the clouds, heavy (with water)

He is the One Who orders the lightening to strike right before your own eyes. Although you are frightened, you wish for it (for the rain that follows it.) He is the One Who raises the clouds saturated with water

It is HU who shows you lightning (a sudden epiphany in your brain) as fear and hope for you, and who generates heavy clouds (with knowledge and gnosis)... (This verse and the following verses depict the various states of humans via metaphors and symbols; however, many take these verses literally and assume they are referencing actual heavenly incidents.)
