Quran 12 : 91

They said: by Allah, Allah has preferred you over us and we were guilty.

“By God!” they said, “God has preferred thee over us, and we were at fault.

They said, 'By God! God has chosen thee over us; and we indeed were sinners.

They said: “By God, surely God has preferred you over us and we are sinners.”

“By Allah,” they said, “Allah has preferred you over us, and we are the sinners.”

They said, by God, now hath God chosen thee above us; and we have surely been sinners

They said: "By God, God has indeed preferred you over us and we have been wrongdoers."

They said, 'By God! Certainly God has chosen you over us; and we indeed were sinners.'

They said: By Allah! Allah has indeed chosen thee over us, and we were certainly sinners

They said: By Allah, verily Allah hath preferred thee above us, and we were indeed sinful

They said, “By Allah, Allah has already preferred you over us. And we were guilty ones.”

[The brothers] said, "By God. God has certainly raised you above us, and we were sinners."

They admitted, “By God, truly God has preferred you over us, and we were indeed at fault.”

They said, `By Allah, Allah has surely exalted you above us and we have indeed been guilty.

They said, “By Allah! Surely Allah has preferred you above us and we surely were in error.”

'By Allah, ' they said, 'Allah has preferred you above us all. We have indeed been sinful.

They said, “By Allah, Allah has indeed preferred you above us and indeed we were at fault.”

They said, 'By God, God has preferred you over us. We were definitely in the wrong.'

They said: ‘By Allâh! Surely Allâh has preferred you over us, and we were obviously sinful’.

They said, "By GOD, GOD has truly preferred you over us. We were definitely wrong."

They said: "By God, God has favoured you above us, for we have indeed been sinners."

They said: By Allah! now has Allah certainly chosen you over us, and we were certainly sinners

They said: "By God, God has preferred you ahead of us, while we have been mistaken."

They said: by Allah! assuredly Allah hath chosen thee above us, and we have been sinners indeed

They said, 'By God, surely Allah has preferred you above us, and no doubt, we had been sinners.

'By God,' they said, 'God has indeed preferred thee above us, and certainly we have been sinful.

They said, ´By Allah, Allah has favoured you above us. Clearly we were in the wrong.´

They said, "By God! now hath God chosen thee above us, and we have indeed been sinners!"

They said: "By Allâh! Definitely Allâh has preferred you over us, and we were obviously sinners.”

They said, ‘By God! God really did favour you over all of us and we were in the wrong!’

They said: ‘By Allah! Indeed Allah has preferred you above us, and certainly we have been sinners.”

They admitted, “By Allah! Allah has truly preferred you over us, and we have surely been sinful.”

They replied, `By ALLAH; surely, ALLAH has preferred thee above us and we have indeed been sinners.

They remarked, "We swear by Allah! He chose you over us. We were clearly the wrong-doers!"

They said, "By God! Certainly Allah has raised you above us, and we were indeed at fault."

(The brothers) said, “By Allah! Indeed, Allah has raised you above us... We were certainly in error.”

They said, "By Allah! HE has certainly chosen you over us, and we were indeed the sinners."

They said, "We swear by God that He has given preference to you over us and we have sinned"

They said, “By God, God has indeed preferred you above us, and we certainly have been guilty of wrong.

They said: "By Allah (God), Allah (God) has preferred you ahead of us, while we have been mistaken."

They said: "By God, God had preferred/chosen you over us and that truly we were sinners (E)."

They said, "By Allah! Allah has chosen (or preferred) you over us; and we indeed were guilty."

They said, .We swear by Allah, indeed Allah has given to you preference over us, and we were guilty in fact

They said, ‘By Allah, Allah has certainly preferred you over us, and we have indeed been erring.’

They exclaimed: ‘By Allah, Allah has certainly exalted you above us, and certainly we alone were the sinners.

They said: "By Allah! Indeed Allah has preferred you above us, and we certainly have been sinners."

(Joseph’s brothers) said, “Indeed Allah has preferred you over us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin.”

They said, "By Allah , certainly has Allah preferred you over us, and indeed, we have been sinners."

They said: "By Allah! Truly, Allah has chosen you over us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin!"

They said, "By Allah, undoubtedly Allah has given you superiority over us, and we were indeed guilty."

‘By the Lord,‘ they said, ‘God has exalted you above us all. We have indeed done wrong.‘

They said: "We swear by Allah! Indeed Allah has chosen you in preference to us and we were truly guilty."

"By God," they responded, "God has indeed preferred you above us, and certainly we were sinful."

They said: “We were wrong and [among other things that is why] God has made you superior to us.”

[The brothers] said, By God! Most certainly God has raised you high above us, and we have indeed been guilty

They said: "By Allah! indeed has Allah preferred thee above us, and we certainly have been guilty of sin!"

They said By Allah certainly Allah has preferred you Allah has preferred you over us and indeed we have been sinners

They said “By Allah! Verily, Allah preferred you over us, and side by side we became, indeed, the sinners.”

They said: By God! Certainly, God held thee in greater favor above us. And, truly, we had been ones who are inequitable.

They said, "By Allah! Indeed, Allah has already preferred you above us, and decidedly we were indeed sinners."

[The brothers] said: "By God! Most certainly has God raised thee high above us, and we were indeed but sinners!"
