"Kill Joseph or cast him in the land, so that the face of your father will be only for you, and after that you can be an upright people."

[One of them said], ‘Kill Joseph or banish him to another land, and your father’s attention will be free to turn to you. After that you can be righteous.’

Kill Joseph or cast him out to some other land, so that the favor of our father may be given to us exclusively, and after that we will be righteous people.”

Slay Yusuf or cast him forth to some land; your father's countenance will be free for you, and ye shall be thereafter a people favoured

`So you (had better either) kill Joseph or remove him to some distant land. (In this way) your father's favour will be exclusively yours. After that you can (repent and) become a pious people.

“Let us kill Joseph or somehow get rid of him; then our father will notice us. We will then [commit no more sin and] chose righteousness

“Slay Joseph or cast him out to some unknown land, so the favor of your father may be given to you alone. There will be enough time for you to be righteous after that.

Kill Yusuf or cast him (to) a land so will be free for you (the) face (of) your father and you will be after that after that a people righteous

Kill Yusuf or cast him out to (some far away) land so that the attention of your father becomes exclusive for you and you pretend after this (incident as members of a) nation of reformers.”

Kill Joseph or fling him to some other region to free the face of your father for you. You be a folk after that ones in accord with morality!

(Now the only solution is:) ‘Kill Yusuf (Joseph), or banish him to some distant, unknown place. (Thus) your father’s attention will be focused purely on you, and after that you will become a group of righteous people (by turning towards Allah in repentance).

"Let us kill Yusuf or cast him in a distant land. Our father´s attention will then be ours, exclusively! Later we will revert, and be pious!"

'Slay Joseph, or cast him in some land; that your father's face may be free for you, and ye may be, after he is gone, a people who do right.

"Kill Yusuf or throw him somewhere in the land, so that your father’s attention may be directed only towards you, and then after it you may again become righteous!"

So kill Joseph or cast him away in an unknown land so that your father’s face [attention] will be free for you and after him [Joseph] you can become righteous people.

Wherefore slay Joseph, or drive him into some distant or desert part of the earth, and the face of your father shall be cleared towards you; and ye shall afterwards be people of integrity

"Slay Joseph, or cast him out to some (far or unknown) land; that your father´s face (favour) may be free for you, and you may afterwards be a righteous folk."

(Let us) kill Joseph, or cast him away in some (far off) land, so that your father's face will be left for you, and afterwards you will be a righteous nation.

So either kill Joseph or cast him into some distant land so that your father´s attention may become exclusively yours. And after so doing become righteous."

"Kill Joseph or abandon him into a distant land, so that your father dotes on you exclusively. And thereafter you can become righteous people."

Kill/fight Joseph or throw him/cast him away (to) a land , your father's face becomes free/alone for you, and you be from after it a correct/righteous nation

[Said one of them:] "Slay Joseph, or else drive him away to some [faraway] land, so that your father's regard may be for you alone: and after this is done, you will be [free to repent and to live once again as] righteous people!"

Kill Yusuf, or banish him to some (other) land, that your father's face may be free (Literally: (void) and empty; i.e., your father will have time for you or pay you more attention (Yusuf ouy of the way) for you, and even after him you will be a righteous people."

(One said): Kill Joseph or cast him to some (other) land, so that your father's favour may be all for you, and (that) ye may afterward be righteous folk

Some of them suggested, "Let us kill Joseph or leave him somewhere far away from the presence of our father. Only then shall we receive equal treatment and thereafter can become righteous people"

Let us kill Yusuf, or throw him at some place on earth, and thus your father‘s full attention will be devoted for you alone, and after doing that, you may become a righteous people.‘&lsquo

When they said, “Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than us, and we are a gang. Surely our father is in an obvious astray.

One of them proposed, "Let us slay Joseph or leave him in a distant land. Then your father's favor will be all for you, and your affairs will be adjusted right for you."

Slay Yusuf or cast him (forth) into some land, so that your father's regard may be exclusively for you, and after that you may be a righteous people

So contrive to kill Joseph or cast him out to some distant land, so that your father's favour may become exclusively yours, and you can thereafter repent and become a righteous people.

"You kill Yusuf (Joseph) or throw him (away) into some (unknown) land, so that your father’s favor (love) will be given to you alone: After that, you become righteous!"

[Let´s] kill Joseph or throw him into exile in some land so your father´s attention will be absorbed in (all of) you, and later on you will be honorable folk,"

“Either kill Joseph or cast him away to some distant land, so that your father’s attention will be exclusively yours. Afterwards, you can become righteous people.”

'Kill Joseph, or throw him somewhere in the land, and your father's attention will be yours. Afterwards, you will be decent people.'

Slay Joseph, or cast him out to some land, that your father’s concern might be for you. And be, thereafter, a righteous people.

Therefore, let us put Joseph to death or cast him away to some [far-off] land, so that our fathers attention should turn only to us, and you can thereafter become a righteous people
