Quran 12 : 8

And already it was in Joseph and his brothers are verses for the questioners.

When they said: Yusuf (Joseph) is dearer to our father than us whilst we are a large group. Our father is indeed in clear error.

They said, "Joseph and his brother are favored by our father, and we are in the majority. Indeed, our father is far astray.

They said: 'Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than ourselves, even though we are many. Truly, our father is obviously wrong

When they said: Verily Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, many though we be. Lo! our father is in plain aberration

For they said: "Joseph and his brother are more loved by our father than us, while we are a numerous group. Our father is clearly misguided."

When they said, 'Surely Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we, though we are a band. Surely our father is in manifest error

When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error

When they said, 'Surely, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we, a band although we be; verily, our father is in obvious error

when they said; "Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, even though we are a closed group. Our father is clearly mistaken.

When they said, “Joseph and his brother are indeed dearer to our father than us though we are a group. Indeed our father is in a manifest error.”

When they said, “Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, though we are a strong group. Our father is certainly in clear error.

They grumbled, “Our father is more affectionate to Joseph and his brother than to us, despite our greater number. Our father is clearly misguided.”

when they said; "Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, even though we are a closed group. Our father is clearly mistaken.

When they said, 'Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, although we are a whole group. Our father is obviously in the wrong

When they said, 'Surely, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we, a band although we are; indeed, our father is surely in clear error.

When they said surely Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we and we are a party. No doubt. Our father is clearly absorbed in their love

As they said, "Indeed Yusuf and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, and we are a band. Surely our father is indeed in evident error

Recall what time they said: surely Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we, whereas we are company; verily our father is in error manifest

They said, “Truly Joseph and his brother are loved more by our father than we are, though we are an excellent group. Indeed our father is clearly in error

When they said, "Surely better loved by our Father, than we, who are more in number, is Joseph and his brother; verily, our father hath clearly erred

(It happened) when they said, .Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, while we are a whole group. Surely, our father is in clear error

When they said Surely Yusuf and his brother (are) more beloved to our father than we while we (are) a group Indeed our father (is) surely in an error clear

When they said: Certainly Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we, though we are a (strong) company. Surely our father is in manifest error -

when they said to one another, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we, who are the greater number: Our father certainly maketh a wrong judgment

When they said: Certainly Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we, though we are a (stronger) company; most surely our father is in manifest error

When the step-brothers whined, “Our father loves Yusuf and his brother more than us, even though we are a large group; our father is obviously mistaken.

They said to each other: ‘Surely Joseph and his brother¹ are dearer to our father than ourselves, though we are many. Truly, our father is much mistaken

[Remember] when they said, “Truly Joseph and his brother are more beloved unto our father than are we, though we are a group. Surely our father is in manifest error

They said: "Truly Joseph and his brother are loved more by our father than we: But we are a goodly body! really our father is obviously wandering (in his mind)

When they said: Certainly, Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, although we are many. Truly, our father is clearly wandering astray.

(Remember) when they said: “Joseph and his brother (Benjamin) are more loved by our father than us, although we are a group, our father is certainly in an obvious error,

When they declared, ´Why! Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we are although we constitute a powerful group. Our father is clearly making a mistake.

(His brothers) said, “Certainly, Joseph and his brother [Benjamin] are loved more by our father than we are, but we are a tough group, and our father is clearly mistaken.”

When they said to each other, `Verily, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, although we are a strong party. Surely, our father is in manifest error

Yusuf´s half-brothers said, "Our father loves Yusuf and his brother more than us, although we are a strong well-knit group! Our father is clearly misguided!"

[Joseph's brothers] said [to one another], "Joseph and his brother [Benjamin] are dearer to our father than we are, even though we are so many. Our father is clearly wrong."

When they said, "Surely, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, though we are many. Verily, our father is in obvious aberration (wandering in mind)

Behold! They said: “(‘Joseph’) and his brother (‘Benjamin’) are truly loved more by our father than we, while we are a strong group. Indeed, our father is in manifest error:

"Surely Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we," (said his half brothers) "even though we are a well-knit band. Our father is surely in the wrong

When they (his brothers) said, “Our father loves Joseph and his brother (Benjamin) more, while we are greater in number and more powerful! Indeed, our father is in clear error!”

When they said, "Certainly Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we. And we are more in number and strength. Our father is indeed making a manifest mistake."

When they said: "Truly, Yoosuf (Joseph) and his brother (Benjamin) are loved more by our father than we, but we are Usbah (a strong group). Really, our father is in a plain error

When they said, ‘Surely Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than [the rest of] us, though we are a hardy group. Our father is indeed in manifest error.’

When they (his step brothers) said: “Truly, Joseph and his brother (Benjamin) are dearer to our father than us, but we are a strong group (of 10). Really, our father is in a plain error.

They said [to each other], Surely Joseph and his brother [Benjamin] are dearer to our father than ourselves, although we are a band. Truly, our father is clearly mistaken

The brothers said [to each other], ‘Although we are many, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are–– our father is clearly in the wrong.’

Now Joseph's brothers spoke thus to one another, "Joseph and his brother, Benjamin, are dearer to our father even though we are so many. Indeed our father is in plain aberration."

When they said: “Truly, Yusuf and his brother are more loved ones in (the feelings of) our father than we although we are a large group (of ten brothers). Really our father is in manifest error

When they said: "Joseph (E), and his brother, (are) more lovable/likable to our father than us, and we (are) a group/band/company, that truly our father (is) in (E) clear/evident misguidance."

When they said, "Indeed Yusuf and his brother * are dearer to our father than we are, and we are one group; undoubtedly our father is, clearly, deeply engrossed in love." (* Of the same mother.

When they (his older half-brothers) said: "Truly Yusuf, (Joseph) and his (full) brother are loved more by our father than we are: But we have a strong group! True our father is clearly swaying (in his mind)

Joseph's brothers said to one another, "There is no doubt that Joseph and his brother are more loved by our father, even though we are all his offspring. He (our father) is certainly in manifest error."

And call to mind when the brothers of Joseph conferred together and said: "Surely Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, although we are a group of so many. Our father is clearly mistaken

And (recall) when they said (to one another): ‘Joseph and his brother (Benjamin) are truly loved more by our father than we, even though we are a strong group. Indeed, our father is (living) in manifest deception:

˹Remember˺ when they said ˹to one another˺, “Surely Joseph and his brother ˹Benjamin˺ are more beloved to our father than we, even though we are a group of so many. Indeed, our father is clearly mistaken.

When they (the brothers addressing one another) said: "Joseph and his brother are indeed more loved by our father than we are, even though we are a powerful band (of greater use to him). Surely, our father is manifestly mistaken."

(Recall) when they (- brothers of Joseph) said (to one another), `Surely, Joseph and his brother (Benjamin) are dearer to our father than we are, though we are a formidable party. Surely, our father is cherishing a love that has gone too far

NOW [Joseph's brothers] spoke [thus to one another:] "Truly, Joseph and his brother [Benjamin] are dearer to our father than we, even though we are so many. Behold, our father is surely suffering from an aberration!"

(Recall) when the brothers of Yusuf (Joseph) said: ‘Certainly, Yusuf (Joseph) and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, whereas we are a stronger party (comprising ten members). No doubt, our father is lost in an evident ecstasy (resulting from deep love for them).

This is how the story begins:] Joseph’s brothers (who were upset that their father spoils his two youngest sons the most) got together and said: “It seems that our father has lost his mind as he is favoring Joseph and his brother and does not pay any attention to us. This is not fair as we are united and stronger (which does not necessarily mean being better.)”
