Quran 12 : 56

He said, “Set me over the storehouses of the land. Truly I am a skilled keeper.

We thus established Joseph on earth, ruling as he wished. We shower our mercy upon whomever we will, and we never fail to recompense the righteous.

In this way We settled Joseph in that land to live wherever he wished: We grant Our mercy to whoever We will and do not fail to reward those who do good

And as such We established Joseph in the land to live wherever he liked. We bestow Our Mercy on whom We will, and We never waste the wage of therighteous

Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, and he dwelt there as he pleased. We bestow Our mercy on whom We will, and never deny the righteous their reward

Thus gave We power to Joseph in the land. He was the owner of it where he pleased. We reach with Our mercy whom We will. We lose not the reward of the good

We established Joseph securely in that land to live wherever he wished. We grant Our grace upon whomever We will, and We do not fail to reward those who do good.

Thus I established Joseph on earth, ruling as he wished. I shower whomever I decide with my blessing and I never let go waste the reward of those who are righteous

And thus We enabled Joseph in the earth, to settle from it wherever he willed. We inflict with Our mercy whoever We will, and We never waste the benefactors’ wage.

And this is how We established Yusuf (Joseph) on earth to settle wherever he liked. We grant Our mercy to whom We will and do not waste the reward of those who do good.

And thus We established Joseph in the land, to live therein wherever he wished. We touch with Our mercy whomever We will, and We never waste the reward of the righteous

Thus, We granted Yusuf power and authority in the land. He could live anywhere he wanted! By Our Grace, We guide whom We please. We do not waste the rewards of the pious

And thus did We establish Yusuf in the land to dwell in it wherever he willed. We send down Our mercy on whom We will and We do not waste the reward of the doers of good,

This is how We established Joseph in the land to settle wherever he pleased. We shower Our mercy on whoever We will, and We never discount the reward of the good-doers.

And that is how We established Joseph in the land to settle anywhere he wants in it. We give Our mercy to anyone We want, and We do not waste the reward of the good doers.

Thus, We settled Joseph in the land to live wherever he wanted. We grant a due share of Our mercy to whomever We want and We do not ignore the reward of the righteous ones

That is how We established Joseph in the land that he may settle in it wherever he wished. We confer Our mercy on whomever We wish, and We do not waste the reward of the virtuous

Andit was such that We gave Joseph authority in the land, to travel in it as he pleases. We bestow Our mercy upon whom We please, and We do not waste the reward of the good doers.

Thus We established Yusuf in the land so that he might settle therein wherever he listed. We bestow of Our mercy on whomsoever We will, and We waste not the hire of the well-doers

And thus did We give to Joseph power in the land -- he had mastery in it wherever he liked. We bestow Our mercy on whom We please, and We waste not the reward of the doers of good

And thus We gave control to Yusuf over this land wherein he might live wherever he wished. We cause Our mercy to reach whom We please, and We waste not the reward of the righteous.

So We established Joseph in the land, to make his dwelling there wherever he would. We visit with Our mercy whomsoever We will, and We leave not to waste the wage of the good-doers

Thus did we stablish Joseph in the land that he might house himself therein at pleasure. We bestow our favours on whom we will, and suffer not the reward of the righteous to perish

Thus We established Joseph in the land, to budget for it in any way he wished. We confer Our mercy on anyone We wish to and never let the earnings of those who act kindly get lost.

And thus We established [to] Yusuf in the land to settle therein where ever he willed We bestow Our Mercy (on) whom We will And not We let go waste (the) reward (of) the good-doers

And thus We established Joseph in the land to settle therein wherever he willed. We touch with Our mercy whom We will, and We do not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good

Thus did we establish Joseph in the land that he might settle in what part thereof he pleased - we overtake with our mercy whom we will, nor do we waste the hire of those who do good

Thus We established Joseph in the land, to budget for it in any way he wished. We confer Our mercy on anyone We wish to and never let the earnings of those who act kindly get lost.

And thus did We give to Yusuf power in the land-- he had mastery in it wherever he liked; We send down Our mercy on whom We please, and We do not waste the reward of those who do good

And this is how We gave Yusuf the control over that land; to stay in it wherever he pleased; We may convey Our mercy to whomever We will, and We do not waste the wages of the righteous

And thus did WE establish Joseph in the land. He dwelt therein wherever he pleased. WE bestow Our mercy on whomsoever WE please and WE suffer not the reward of the righteous to be lost

Thus We gave Joseph authority in the land so that he lived wherever he liked. We bestow Our favours on whomsoever We please, and do not allow the reward of those who are good to go waste

Thus We gave power to Joseph in the land to take possession when or where he pleased. We bestow Our mercy on whom We please, and We cause not to be lost, the reward of those who do right

And thus We established Yusuf in the land to take his location (there) where he decides. We (make) Our mercy alight on whomever We decide, and We do not waste the reward of the fair-doer

And that is how We gave Yusuf power to exercise in the land of Egypt, and to live wherever he wished. We treat anyone kindly, and never allow the reward of the righteous to be lost.

Thus, We established Joseph in the land, granting him the freedom to reside wherever he desired. We bestow Our mercy upon whom We will, and We never let the reward of the righteous be lost.

And thus did We establish Joseph in the land that he might settle in what part thereof he pleased - We overtake with Our mercy whom We will, nor do We waste the reward of those who do good;

And thus We established Yusuf in the land so he could live in any place he pleased. We grant Our grace to anyone We will and We do not allow to go to waste the wage of any people who do good.

This is how We established Joseph on the earth and made him settle therein wherever he willed; and We definitely will not let the reward of those whose heart is perfect towards Allâh be lost.

And thus We gave Yusuf power in the land. He could settle in it wherever he wished. We extend Our mercy to whomsoever We will, and We do not let the reward of the righteous people to go to waste

And thus did We give Yusuf an honourable position in the land. He could settle therein in whatever way he liked. We bestow Our mercy upon whom We please. And We do not let good people go unrewarded

And, thus, We established Joseph firmly in the region to take his dwelling in it when or where he wills. We light Our mercy on whom We will and We waste not the compensation of ones who are doers of good.

Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that he might provide himself a dwelling therein, where he pleased. We bestow our mercy on whom We please, and We suffer not the reward of the righteous to perish

Thus We did give full authority to Joseph in the land to take possession from it, as when or where he likes. We bestow Our Mercy on whom We will and We don’t let the reward of the righteous people be lost.

This is how We established power to Joseph in the land, to exercise authority and do as he pleased. We bestow Our mercy on whom We please, and We do not allow the reward of those who do good to be lost.

Thus, We gave established power to Joseph in the land (of Egypt). He had full mastery over it, ruling as he saw fit. We bestow Our Grace according to Our Laws, and never waste the reward of the doers of good

This is how We bestowed upon Yusuf (Joseph) the rule over the land (of Egypt so that) he could live therein wherever he desired. We honour with Our mercy whom We will, and We waste not the reward of the pious

Thus did We establish Joseph in the land so that he could settle wherever he pleased. We bestow favour, out of Our Mercy, on whomsoever We please, and We do not cause the reward of those who do good to go to waste

And thus did We established Joseph in the land he dwelled therein wherever he pleased. Thus We cause Our mercy to reach to whom We please and We do not suffer the reward of those who act in excellence, to go in vain.

And thus We established Joseph in that land (Egypt)... He could go about and lodge wherever he willed therein... We manifest Our mercy/grace when We will... We will not leave unrequited the deeds of the doers of good.

That is how We granted Joseph high power in the country. He wielded authority therein wherever he chose. We bestow Our mercy on whomsoever We will and We suffer not the reward of the doers of excellent deeds to be lost

Thus did We establish Joseph in the land that he might possess (settle or control) what part (in the manner, time and place) he pleases. We reach with Our mercy whom We will. We waste not the wages of those who do right

Thus did We give established power to Joseph in the land, to take possession therein as, when, or where he pleased. We bestow of our Mercy on whom We please, and We suffer not, to be lost, the reward of those who do good

This way We gave full authority to Yusuf (Joseph) in the land, to take possession in there as, when, or where he wanted. We give from Our Mercy to whom We please, and We make not the reward of those who do good to be lost

And as/like that We highly positioned to Joseph in the land/Earth he establishes/resides from it when/where he wills/wants, We strike/mark with Our mercy whom We will/want, and We do not loose/waste/destroy the good doers reward

This is how We established Joseph on the land and made him settle therein wherever he willed. We bestow of Our Mercy on whom We will and We do not let the reward of those who pursue righteousness and perfection in Faith be lost.

Thus We caused Joseph to be established in a position of authority in the land. He could dwell therein wherever he pleased. We bestow Our mercy on whomever We please, and We do not allow the reward of the righteous to go to waste

Thus did We give full authority to Yoosuf (Joseph) in the land, to take possession therein, as when or where he likes. We bestow of Our Mercy on whom We please, and We make not to be lost the reward of Al-Muhsinoon (the good doers - see V.2:112)

And thus We established (vast authority) for Yusuf in the country. He stays and moves therein as and when he likes. We reach with Our mercy on whom We think proper and We do not allow to go waste the reward of those who do righteousness in perfection

And thus We established Joseph securely in the land [of Egypt]: he had full mastery over it, [doing] whatever he willed. [Thus do] We cause Our grace to alight upon whomever We will; and We do not fail to requite the doers of good

Thus We established Joseph in the land (of Egypt) with authority. He was fully accepted therein, able to go and execute his authority wherever he willed. We visit with Our mercy whomever We will. We do not leave to waste the reward of those devoted to doing good as if seeing God
