Quran 12 : 44
They said, "Confused dreams, and not we (are) in the interpretation (of) the dreams learned."
قَالُوٓا۟
Qāluwa
أَضْغَٰثُ
Aaḍghaāthu
أَحْلَٰمٍ
Aaḥlaāmin
وَمَا
Wamā
نَحْنُ
Naḥnu
بِتَأْوِيلِ
Bitaawīli
ٱلْأَحْلَٰمِ
Alaaḥlaāmi
بِعَٰلِمِينَ
Biʿaālimīna
They said: Confused dreams and we know not the interpretation of dreams
They said: "Jumbles of dreams; we do not know how to interpret dreams."
notables! Give me your opinion on my vision, if you can interpret visions.
They said: Confused dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of dreams
They said: confused dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of dreams.
Said they, 'Confused dreams, and naught of the exposition of such dreams know we!
They said: "Jumbles of dreams; we do not know how to interpret dreams."
They replied, “What baffling dreams! We have no expertise in interpreting dreams.”
They replied, “A jumble of dreams, and we don’t know the interpretation of dreams.”
They said, 'Confused dreams, and we know nothing of the exposition of such dreams.'
They said: medleys of dreams! and in the interpretation of dreams we are not skilled
"These are confusing dreams, and we have no deep knowledge of dream interpretation."
They said, 'these are confused dreams, and we know not the interpretation of dreams.'
They said, “Confused dreams and we do not have the knowledge of interpreting dreams.”
They answered: Jumbled dreams! And we are not knowing in the interpretation of dreams
They said: “Senseless dreams and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."
They said: “Mixed up false dreams and we are not skilled in interpretation of dreams.”
They said, “Jumbled up dreams and we are not knowledgeable in interpretation of dreams.”
They said, “Jumbles of dreams, and we are not with the dreams interpretation, knowers.”
They said Confused dreams and not we (are) in the interpretation (of) the dreams learned
They said, These are confusing dreams and we do not know the interpretation of such dreams
They said, "Dreams are jumbled, and we do not know the interpretation of dreams."
They said: ‘Senseless dreams, and we are not skilled in the interpretation of such dreams’.
They said: “Confused dreams and we do not know the interpretation of the (confused) dreams.”
They said, 'Jumbles of dreams, and we know nothing of the interpretation of dreams.'
'A hotchpotch of nightmares!' they said. 'We know nothing of the interpretation of nightmares.
They said, “It is a confused medley of dreams, and we are not skilled in such interpretation.”
They replied, "It is a confused dream and we do not know the meaning of such dreams."
They answered, "Confused nightmares! We are not skilled in interpreting such dreams."
They said, “A confused medley of dreams, and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams.
They said: ‘These are confused dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of confused dreams.
Said they, "Confused dreams! And naught know we of the interpretation of such dreams."
They said, "They are confused dreams, nor know we aught of the unravelling of dreams."
They said, .(It seems to be) a mishmash of dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of dreams
They replied, “These are confused visions and we do not know the interpretation of such dreams.”
They replied, `These are confused dreams and we do not know the interpretation of confused dreams.
They said, ‘These are confusing dreams and we are not skilled at dream-interpretation,’
They said: 'They are confused nightmares, nor do we know anything of the interpretation of visions.
They said: "Mixed up false dreams and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."
They said, ´A jumbled mass of mixed-up dreams! We do not know the meaning of such things.´
They said, `(These are) confused dreams and we do not know the interpretation of such confused dreams.
They said: Jumbled nightmares. And we are not of the interpretation of nightmares ones who know.
They answered, "These are confused dreams - and we do not know the interpretation of dreams."
They said: "These are confused dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of such dreams."
"They were only confused dreams," they said; "we do not know how to interpret them."
They said: "It is nothing except bad dreams; and we are not knowledgeable in the interpretation of dreams."
They said: "A confused medley of dreams: and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."
They answered, they are confused dreams; neither are we skilled in the interpretation of such kind of dreams
They said, “It is but a bunch of imaginary fables... And we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams!”
They said, "Jumbled dreams. And in no way are we knowledgeable about the interpretation of dreams."
They replied: ‘They are but a medley of dreams; nor are we skilled in the interpretation of dreams.‘
They said, "Nonsense dreams. When it comes to the interpretation of dreams, we are not knowledgeable."
They said: "Jumbles of dream images. And we are not knowledgeable in the interpretation of dream images."
They said, ‘[These are] confused nightmares, and we do not know the interpretation of nightmares.’
They said: "A confused mixture (of) dreams, and we are not with interpreting/explaining the dreams with knowing."
They said, "Dreams are nothing but scattered meaningless thoughts. We are not aware of any meaning in the dreams!"
They said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."
They (the chiefs) said: "A confused mixture of false dreams: And we are not skilled in interpreting the meaning of dreams."
They replied: “It sounds like a meaningless dream; but again, we do not know anything about the interpretation of the dreams.”
They answered: " [This is one of] the most involved and confusing of dreams, and we have no deep knowledge of the real meaning of dreams."
They said: “Disturbing thoughts, wild imaginations; and we are not experts in the interpretation of wild disturbing imagination (appearing as dreams or visions).”
