Quran 12 : 35
Then (it) appeared to them from after [what] they had seen the signs, surely they should imprison him until a time.

Eventually (out of vindication) they decided to cast him into the jail for a while
It seemed good to them, after they had seen the proofs, to imprison him for a time.
Then it occurred to them to jail him for a while even after they had seen the signs.
Then it occurred to them to jail him for a while even after they had seen the signs.
Then it occurred to them, after they had seen the signs, to imprison him for a while
Yet, for all the evidence they had seen, they thought it right to jail him for a time

Thereafter it occurred to them even after they had, the signs, to imprison him for a season
Yet, even after all the evidence they had seen, they thought it right to jail him for a time
Then it appeared good to them, even after they had seen the signs, to imprison him until a time
Then it occurred to them after they had seen the signs that they should imprison him till a time
Then it seemed right to them after seeing the signs that they should imprison him for some time.
Then it occurred to them after they had seen the signs that they should imprison him till a time
Then, after they had seen the Signs, they thought that they should still imprison him for a time.
And it occurred to them after seeing all the evidences that they should imprison him for a while.
Then it occurred to them, after they had seen the signs, that they should imprison him for a time
Despite the evidence before them, they concluded that they better send Yusuf to prison for a while
Yet resolved they, even after they had seen the signs of his innocence, to imprison him for a time
Then after having seeing all the signs, they all decided that he should be imprisoned for some time
And yet in spite of having seen these clear proofs they found it proper to incarcerate him for a time
Then it seemed good to them, after they had seen the signs, that they should imprison him for a while
Then it appeared to them, after they had seen the proofs (of his innocence) to imprison him for a time
Then it became clear to them, after having seen the signs, that they should imprison him till a time.

After they had seen the signs [of their wives lusting after Joseph], the men decided to imprison him for a while.
And so, even after seeing the evidence, of his innocence they thought it is right to imprison him for a short term
Then (it) appeared to them after after [what] they had seen the signs surely they should imprison him until a time
Again, it showed itself to them. And after they saw the signs, it seemed that they should imprison him for a while.
Then it appeared to them from after what they saw/understood the evidences/signs they imprison him (E) until a time
And it seemed good to them (the men-folk) after they had seen the signs (of his innocence) to imprison him for a time
(The women brought a suit against him.) The judges after seeing the marks on their hands put him in prison for a time
In the end they thought it best, after seeing all the signs of his innocence, that they should imprison him for a while
Later on, even after having seen the clear signs (of his innocence), they deemed it proper to imprison him for some time
Then, after weighing the pros and cons of the matter, they thought it advisable to keep him in the prison for the time being
So, it seemed appropriate to them that they should imprison him for a while even after they saw the signs (of his innocence).
Then even after seeing all signs, the same previous thought came to their mind that they should put him in prison for a period.
Then it appeared to them, after they had seen all the signs [of his innocence], that they should confine him for some time
Then it occurred to them after they had seen the (irrefutable) signs (of his innocence) that they should imprison him for a while.
And so it occurred to those in charge, despite seeing all the proofs ˹of his innocence˺, that he should be imprisoned for a while.
Then it came to the minds of the men, after they had seen all the proof (of his innocence), (that they should) send him to the prison for a while
It occurred to the governor and his household after they had seen all the signs [of Joseph's innocence] that they should imprison him for a while.
Then it occurred to them (the chiefs) after they had seen the Signs of his innocence that to preserve their good name, they should imprison him for a time
Then it appeared harmless to them, after they had assessed the signs, proofs and evidences, that they may keep him in prison until the (needed) time (is over)
It occurred to them (the noblemen and his household), even after they had seen the signs (of Joseph’s innocence), that they should imprison him for a time
Then it occurred to them to cast Joseph into prison for a while even though they had seen clear signs (of Joseph´s innocence and of the evil ways of their ladies)
Even after Joseph had been found innocent of any crime, the King and his people decided to imprison him for an appointed time (so that people would forget the incident)
Thereafter it seemed good to them even after they had seen the signs, that indeed they should definitely imprison him for (Literally: till a while (had passed) a while (of time)
For, presently it occurred to the nobleman and his household _ [even] after they had seen all the signs [of Joseph's innocence] - that they might as well imprison him for a time
Then even after seeing the signs of (Yusuf’s [Joseph’s] decency and righteousness), they deemed it appropriate to imprison him for a time (so that the gossip of the episode amongst the people might die down)
Then it occurred to them (-the companions of the `Aziz) after they had examined all the circumstances and signs (of Joseph's innocence) that they had better imprison him for a time. (So Joseph was consigned to the prison.
