Quran 12 : 17

They said: 'We went racing and left Joseph with our things. The wolf devoured him, but you will not believe us, though we speak the truth.

They said: "Our father, we went to race and left Joseph by our things, and the wolf ate him! But you would not believe us even if we were truthful."

They said: “Father, we went racing and we left Joseph with our things then the wolf ate him, and you do not believe us even though we are truthful.”

They said, “O our father ! we went off racing and left Yusuf with our things and the wolf ate him and you will not believe in us though we are truthful.”

They said: O our father! surely we went off racing and left Yusuf by our goods, so the wolf devoured him, and you will not believe us though we are truthful

They said, 'O our father! we went away racing, and left Yusuf near our provisions, then the wolf ate him, and you would not believe us, though we may be true.

They said: oh our father, we went ahead and left Yusuf (Joseph) with our provisions, then the wolf ate him. And you will not believe us even if we are truthful.

They said, “O our father, we were racing each other and left Joseph with our belongings, and a wolf ate him. But you won’t believe us, even if we are truthful.”

They said, 'Father, we went running races, and left Joseph behind with our things; so the wolf ate him. But thou wouldst never believe us, though we spoke truly.

They said, ‘Father! We had gone racing and left Joseph with our things, whereat the wolf ate him. But you will not believe us even if we spoke truly.’

They cried, “Our father! We went racing and left Joseph with our belongings, and a wolf devoured him! But you will not believe us, no matter how truthful we are.”

They said, “O father, we went racing, and quit Joseph at our belongings; so, the wolf ate him. And you are not believing for us, even though we are truthful ones.”

said, 'O our father! verily, we went forth to race and left Joseph by our goods, and the wolf devoured him,- but thou wilt not believe us, truth tellers though we be.

They said: "Our father, we went off racing and left Joseph with our belongings, and the wolf ate him up! You will not believe us even though we are telling the truth."

They said, Father, we went off racing and left Joseph with our belongings, and the wolf devoured him. But you will not believe us, even though we are telling the truth

They said, “O father! We went racing with one another, and left Joseph with our things, and the wolf ate him. But thou wouldst not believe us, even if we were truthful.

They said: O our father, we went off racing one with another and left Joseph by our goods, so the wolf devoured him. And thou wilt not believe us, though we are truthful

They said, .Father, we went racing with one another, and left Yusuf with our belongings, and the wolf ate him up. You will never believe us, howsoever truthful we may be

They said: our father! we went off competing, and left Yusuf by our stuff, so a wolf devoured him; and thou wilt put no credence in us, even though we are the truth-tellers

They said, ‘We went off racing one another, leaving Joseph behind with our things, and a wolf ate him. You will not believe us, though we are telling the truth!’

And said: "We went racing with one another and left Joseph to guard our things when a wolf devoured him. But you will not believe us even though we tell the truth."

Saying: O our father! We went racing one with another, and left Joseph by our things, and the wolf devoured him, and thou believest not our saying even when we speak the truth

They said O our father Indeed, we [we] went racing each other and we left Yusuf with our possessions and ate him the wolf But not you (will) believe us even if we are truthful

They said, 'O our father! Indeed, we went forth to race and we left Joseph by our goods, and the wolf devoured him, - but you will not believe us, truth tellers though we are.'

They said: "Our father, we went off racing and left Joseph with our belongings, and the wolf ate him up! You will not believe us even though we are telling the truth."

They said, “O our father, we went racing with one another, and left Joseph with our things, and the wolf devoured him, but you will never believe us even though we tell the truth.

saying: “Our father, we went off to race one another, leaving Yusuf with our belongings, and the wolf came and ate him. Though we’re telling the truth, you won’t believe us.”

And they said, "O our father! Verily, we went forth to race and left Joseph by our things, and the wolf devoured him, but you will not believe us though we speak the truth."

Father,‘ they said, ‘we went off to compete together, and left Joseph with our packs. The wolf devoured him. But you will not believe us, though we speak the truth.‘

They said, `O my father, we went forth racing with one another and left Joseph with our things, and the wolf devoured him, but thou wilt not believe us though we are telling the truth

They said, 'O father, we went off racing one another, and left Joseph by our belongings; and the wolf ate him. But you will not believe us, even though we are being truthful.'

They said, "O our father, indeed we went racing each other and left Joseph with our possessions, and a wolf ate him. But you would not believe us, even if we were truthful."

They said: “O our father! Surely we went racing with one another, we left Joseph by our belongings, and a wolf devoured him! But you will never believe us even though we are truthful.”

and said, father, we went and ran races with one another, and we left Joseph with our baggage, and the wolf hath devoured him; but thou wilt not believe us, although we speak the truth

They said: ‘O our father, we went racing with one another and left Yusuf (Joseph) with our belongings. Then a wolf devoured him, but you will not believe us even though we are truthful.

They claimed, “O our father, we went racing with one another and left Joseph with our things. A wolf devoured him, but you will never believe us, even though we are telling the truth.”

Saying, "O Our father! We went racing among us, and left Joseph by our belongings. A wolf did eat him up. We fear that you will not believe us even if we are telling the truth."

They said: O our father! Truly, we went racing and we left Joseph with our sustenance and a wolf ate him and thou wilt not be one who believes us, even if we had been ones who are sincere.

They said, "Our father, we went racing with each other, leaving Joseph with our equipment, and the wolf devoured him. You will never believe us, even if we were telling the truth."

Saying, "O our father! We went far ahead while racing, and left Yusuf near our resources - therefore the wolf devoured him; and you will not believe us although we may be truthful."

They said, “O our father! Indeed we went, we were racing... we left Joseph with our possessions... and then a wolf ate him... No matter how truthfully we speak to you, you will not believe us.”

They said: ’O’ our father, we went off racing one with another and left Joseph by our belongings, so the wolf (came and) devoured him. You may not believe us although we are speaking the truth.’

They said: "O our father! We went racing with one another, and left Joseph with our things; and the wolf devoured him.... But thou wilt never believe us even though we tell the truth."

They said, "O our Father! of a truth, we went to run races, and we left Joseph with our clothes, and the wolf devoured him: but thou wilt not believe us even though we speak the truth."

They said, `Our father! we went forth racing one with another and left Joseph (behind) with our belongings and the wolf devoured him. But you would never believe us though we be the truthful ones.

They said:"O our father! We went racing with one another, and left Yoosuf (Joseph) by our belongings and a wolf devoured him; but you will never believe us even when we speak the truth."

They said: “O’ our father, we went off racing one with another and left ‘Joseph’ by our belongings, so the wolf (came and) devoured him. You may not believe us although we are speaking the truth."

[and] said, "Father, we were racing with one another, and left Joseph behind with our things, and a wolf devoured him. [We know that] you will not believe us even though we are telling the truth,"

and saying, "Father, we went playing and left Joseph with our belongings. A wild-beast came and devoured him. We realize that you will not believe us even though we are telling the truth"

They said, “O our father we went racing with one another and we left Joseph with our belongings so the wolf devoured him but you were not going to believe us even if we were sincere [in our words].”

They said: "O our father! We went racing with one another, and left Yusuf (Joseph) with our things; And the wolf ate (devoured) him... But you will never believe us even though we tell the truth."

and said: "Father! We went racing with one another and left Joseph behind with our things, and then a wolf came and ate him up. We know that you will not believe us howsoever truthful we might be."

They said: "You our father, that we went/went away racing and we left Joseph at ourbelongings/effects/goods, so the wolf ate him, and you are not with believing to us, and even if we were truthful."

They said: "Our father! We went off racing with one another, and left Joseph behind by our things, then a wolf devoured him. But we know that you will not believe us, even though we speak the truth."

They said: “O our father! Indeed we, we moved, we race with one another, and we left Yusuf at our belongings, so the wolf devoured him, and you are not one who believes us even if we are truthful.”

They said, "O our father, surely we went racing with one another and left Yusuf by (Literally: at) our belongings; so the wolf ate him. And in no way would you be believing us, even if we are sincere."

They said, "O our father! We did indeed get ourselves engaged in the racing game and left Joseph behind with our goods. Then, the wolf ate him. And you will not believe us though we do tell you the truth."

saying, ´Father, we went out to run a race and left Yusuf together with our things and then a wolf appeared and ate him up but you are never going to believe us now, not even though we really tell the truth.´

They said, "Oh father, we were engaged in a racing competition among ourselves. We had left Yusuf to watch over our baggage and a wolf got him and devoured him! You will not believe us even though we are telling the truth!"

They said: “Father, we left Joseph alone with our belongings to race with each other; then the wolf took advantage of our absence and devoured him. You will never believe us in spite of the fact that we are telling you the truth.”

[and] said: "O our father! Behold, we went off racing with one another, and left Joseph behind with our things; and thereupon the wolf devoured him! But [we know that] thou wouldst not believe us even though we speak the truth"
