They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from that which we found our fathers upon, and so that you two would have greatness in the land? We will not believe in you."

They said, ‘Have you come to turn us away from the faith we found our fathers following, so that you and your brother can gain greatness in this land? We will never believe in you.’

They said: “Have you come to us to turn us away from the faith of our forefathers in order that you 2 (Moses and Aaron) may have greatness (become leaders) in the land? We are not going to believe in you 2!”

They said: art thou come unto us to turn us aside from that faith whereon We found our fathers, and that the greatness in the land shall be unto you twain! And for the sake of you twain we are not going to be believers

"Have you come," said they, "to turn us back from what we found our ancestors doing, so that the two of you may attain supremacy in the land? We shall not believe in what you say

They said, “Did you come to turn us away from the belief of our forefathers and establish power on the earth? We are not believers in you (Moses and Aaron).”

They said, 'Have you come to us. So that you may turn us from that upon which we found our forefathers, and that you two may have greatness in the land? And we are not to believe you too.

They said, ´Have you come to us to turn us from what we found our fathers doing, and to gain greatness in the land? We do not believe you.´

They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our forefathers following, and that high authority in this land may belong to you two? Never will we believe in you two!"

They said, ‘Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers following, so that supremacy may be yours in the land? We will not believe in the two of you.’

They said, `Have you come to us that you may turn us away from what we found our forefathers practising and to make sure that you two reign supreme in the land? But (remember) we will not believe in either of you at all.

They said, 'Art thou come to us to turn us from that we found our fathers practising, and that the domination in the land might belong to you two? We do not believe you

They said: “Did you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon it, and you two become great in the land? We are not believers in you two.”

They replied: “Have you come to change our style of life which we have inherited from our forefathers? You want to earn a superior position the same way that Joseph earned his way up.] We will not believe in what you say.”

They said, “Have you come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our parents following, in order that you and your brother may have greatness in the land? We will not believe you two.

They said Have you come to us to turn us away from that we found on it our forefathers and you two (may) have and you two (may) have the greatness in the land And we (are) not And we (are) not (in) you two believers

They said: “Have you come to us to deviate us from that we found following it our fathers; and you desire that the greatness (and position) in the land becomes restricted to you two? And we are not (becoming) Believers for you two.”

They said: Hadst thou drawn near to us to turn us from what we found our fathers on so that the domination on the earth might be for you two? We are not ones who believe in both of you.

They said: ‘(O Musa [Moses],) have you come to us to turn us away from that (way of life) which we found our fathers (following), and that the upper hand of you both should remain (intact) in the land (of Egypt)? We are not the ones who will ever believe in you both.

They said, "We found our parents upon a particular way. Have you come to direct us away from the religion of our parents, so that your authority may prevail in the land? We are not going to believe the two of you!"

They said, 'Hast thou come to turn us away from what we found our fathers at, that there may be for you twain grandeur in the earth? but we will not believe you.

They said, "Have you two come to us to revert us from what we found our fathers upon, and that the leadership in the land may only be for you two? And we shall never believe in you both."

They said, “Have you come to us to turn us away from that on which we found our forefathers so that you two become paramount in the land but no we are not going to believe in the two of you.”

They said, art thou come unto us to turn us aside from that religion, which we found our fathers practise; and that ye two may have the command in the land? But we do not believe you

They said, "Have you come to turn us away from the faith in which we found our fathers, that there may be for you twain grandeur in the land? We will not believe you."

They said: 'Have you come to turn us away from that which we found our fathers practicing (in order that) the domination of the land might belong to you two? We do not believe you!

They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from that (Faith) we found our fathers following, - and that you two may have greatness in the land? We are not going to believe you two!"

They said: 'Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our forefathers doing? And so greatness on earth may belong to both of you? We do not believe in either of you."

They said: "Art thou come to us to pervert us from the faith in which we found our fathers, and that you twain shall bear rule in this land? But we believe you not."

They said, “Have you come to turn us away from the faith of our fathers so that you and your brother will have authority in this land? We will not believe you two.

They replied: `Have you come to turn us away from the way of our forefathers that the two of you might become supreme in the land? We shall never accept what the two of you say.`

They said: Hast thou come to us to turn us away from that which we found our fathers following, and (that) greatness in the land may be for you two? And we are not going to believe in you

They said, “Have both of you come to us to turn us away from that on which we found our fathers, and thereby become great in the earth? But we will not believe in you.”

They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon, and is greatness bestowed just on you two on earth? And we are not going to believe in you."

They said: "Did you come to us to turn us away (divert us) from what we found our fathers on it, and the arrogance/greatness be to you (B) in the earth/Planet Earth, and we are not to you (B) with believing."

[The great ones] replied: "Hast thou come to turn us away from what we found our forefathers believing in and doing, so that the two of you might become supreme in this land? However, we do not believe in you two!"

They said, "Have you come to us to turn us round from what we found our fathers (practicing), and that grandeur in the earth might belong to you (two)? And in no way will we be believers with you (two)."

They said: Hast thou come unto us to pervert us from that (faith) in which we found our fathers, and that you two may own the place of greatness in the land? We will not believe you two

They asked Moses, "Have you come to turn us away from the faith of our fathers and to make yourselves the rulers in the land? We shall never accept your faith."

They said, .Have you come to us to turn us away from the way on which we have found our fathers, and so that you both have supremacy on earth? We are not going to believe in you

They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from that which we found our fathers following in order that you two may possess the place of greatness in the land? We are not going to believe you two.

They said: "Have you come to turn us away from the tradition we have inherited so that the two of you might possess the place of greatness in the land? We have no intention of believing you two.”

They said, “Have you come to turn us away from what we found our forefathers doing, so you two may rule over us? We don’t believe you.”

They argued, “Have you come to turn us away from the faith of our forefathers so that the two of you may become supreme in the land? We will never believe in you!”

They said: did the two of you come to tempt us away from what we found our fathers doing and you have supremacy on earth? We are not going to believe you.

They said: ‘Have you come to turn us away from the faith of our forefathers, that you two may lord it over the land? We will never believe in the pair of you.‘

They said, "Did you come to divert us from what we found our parents doing, and to attain positions of prominence for yourselves? We will never join you as believers."

They said, "Have you come to turn us away from what we found our forefathers believing so that the two of you might become supreme in this land? We do not believe in the two of you."

They said, “Did you come to us to divert us about what we found our parents on, and to be for you the pride in the earth? And we are not believing in you.”

They said, "Have you come to turn us away from our ancestral ways, and so that you two become prominent in the country? However, we will not believe in you two."

They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon, and (that) greatness in the land should be for you two? And we are not going to believe in you

They said, `Hast thou come to us that thou mayest turn us away from what we found our fathers following, and that you two may have greatness in the land? But we will not believe in either of you.

They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from the way (that) we found our fathers following— So that you two, (Musa) and your brother (Haroon) may have fame in the land? But we shall not believe in you!"

They said: ´Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our forefathers doing? And so greatness on earth may belong to both of you? We do not believe in either of you."

They said, “Did you come to divert us from the traditions of our ancestors and gain supremacy in the land? We will never believe in you.”

They said, 'Did you come to us to divert us from what we found our ancestors following, and so that you become prominent in the land? We will never believe in you.'

They said, “Have you come unto us to turn us away from that which we found our fathers following, so that grandeur in the land might belong to you two? We will not believe in the two of you!

They said, 'Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon, and you two may have grandeur in the land? And we will not believe you two.'

They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you."

They said, Have you come to turn us away from what we found our forefathers following, so that the two of you might become supreme in this land? We will never believe in you

They said: "Hast thou come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our fathers following,- in order that thou and thy brother may have greatness in the land? But not we shall believe in you!"
