Quran 10 : 49

SAY: I have no power over my own weal or woe, but as God pleaseth. Every people hath its time: when their time is come, they shall neither retard nor advance it an hour

Say: "I do not possess for myself any harm or benefit except what God wills. For every nation is a time. When their time comes, they cannot delay it one hour nor advance it."

Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself, or hurt, but as God will. To every nation a term; when their term comes they shall not put it back by a single hour nor put it forward.

Say, 'I have no power over harm nor profit to myself, except what God will. For every nation is a term; when their term comes, then they cannot delay it for an hour nor bring it on.'

Say, “I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah wills. To every people is an appointed term. When their term has ended, they can neither delay nor advance an hour.”

Say, “I have no power over any harm or profit even to myself, except as God wills. To every people is a term appointed. When their term is reached, not an hour can they delay it or advance it.

Say: 'I have no power to benefit or harm myself except as Allah wills. To every nation is a fixed term and when their term comes they cannot delay it for an hour, nor can they bring it forward

Say: I do not master harm for myself nor benefit except for what Allah wills. For every community is a fixed term; then when its term is up, they will not delay it for an hour nor speed it up.

Say: “I have no power of harm or benefit for myself except what God wants. For every community there is a period (to believe), when their time comes, they cannot delay for an hour or put it forward.”

Say, 'I have no power to harm or benefit myself, except as God wills. To every nation is an appointed time. Then, when their time arrives, they can neither postpone it by one hour, nor advance it

Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it)

Say: I control not for myself any harm, or any benefit, except what Allah pleases. Every nation has a term. When their term comes, they cannot put it off an hour, nor can they bring it before (its time)

Say, “I do not own for myself a harm or a benefit, except what Allah wills. To every community an appointed term. When their term has arrived, they are not either postponing one hour, nor advancing it.

Say, 'I have no power over myself for harm or for profit, save what God will. Every nation has its appointed time; when their appointed time comes to them they cannot delay it for an hour or bring it on.

Say, “I possess no harm nor benefit for myself other than what Allah wills... Every nation has an appointed time... When their time has come, they cannot postpone it for an hour, nor can they advance it.”

Say thou: I own not any power of hurt or benefit unto myself, save that which Allah may will. For each community is a term; when their term hath arrived, not an hour can they stay behind nor can they advance

Say: ´I possess no power to harm or help myself except as Allah wills. Every nation has an appointed time. When their appointed time comes, they cannot delay it a single hour or bring it forward.´

Say, “I have no power over harm or benefit for myself except such as pleases Allah. For every nation there is an appointed term. When their term comes, they cannot delay it by a moment nor can they advance it.”

Reply, “I have no control over any harm or benefit to myself, except as God wills. For every nation, there is a predetermined time. When their time arrives, they can neither delay it by an hour nor advance it.”

Say: I control not either hurt or profit for myself, but what God willed. To every community there is a term. When their term draws near, neither will they delay it an hour nor will they press it forward.

Say, "I do not have power to harm or benefit even myself, except what Allah wants. Each generation has an appointed time! When the time comes, it can neither be advanced nor delayed, even by a moment."

Say, “I have no power over what harm or benefit may come to me, save as God wills. For every community there is a term. When their term comes, they shall not delay it by a single hour, nor shall they advance it.

Say: "I have no power over my own gain or loss other than what God may please." Every people have a certain term. When their time is come they can neither delay it an hour nor advance it a moment forward

Say: I do not control for myself any harm, or any benefit except what Allah pleases; every nation has a term; when their term comes, they shall not then remain behind for an hour, nor can they go before (their time)

Say:” I possess no power to harm, or profit myself except for what Allâh wills. For every community, there is an appointed time. When their interim comes to an end , they can neither delay it an hour, nor hasten it.”

Say: ”I possess no power to harm, or profit myself except for what Allâh wills. For every community, there is an appointed time. When their interim comes to an end , they can neither delay it an hour, nor hasten it.”

Say, "I have no power to harm or help myself, except as God wills. An appointed time has been set for every nation, and, when they reach their appointed time, they can neither delay it by a single hour nor speed it up."

(Muhammad), tell them, "I have no control over my suffering or benefits unless God wills. Every nation is destined to live for an appointed time. They can neither delay that time nor can they cause it to come sooner

Say: "I have no power over any harm or gain to myself except as Allah wills. A term is fixed for every people: When their term is come, they can not postpone it by an hour, nor can they advance (it by an hour)."

SAY: "I control no harm nor any advantage by myself, except concerning whatever God may wish. Each nation has a deadline: whenever their deadline comes, they will not postpone it for an hour nor will they advance it.

Say, “I have no autonomy to benefit or hurt myself, except what Allah wills *; for every nation is a fixed promise; when their promise comes, they cannot postpone it or can they advance it one moment. (* To empower me.

Say Not I have power for myself (for) any harm and not (for) any profit except what Allah wills Allah wills For every nation (is) a term When comes their term then not they remain behind an hour and not they can precede (it)

SAY: "I control no harm nor any advantage by myself, except concerning whatever Allah (God) may wish. Each nation has a deadline: whenever their deadline comes, they will not postpone it for an hour nor will they advance it.

Say, `I have no power over any harm or benefit for myself save that which ALLAH wills. For every people there is an appointed term. When their term is come, they cannot remain behind a single moment, nor can they get ahead of it.

Say (O Muhammad): “I have no power over any harm or benefit to myself except what Allah wills. For every nation, there is a deadline; when their deadline comes, neither can they delay it even for a moment nor can they advance it.”

Say, you 'I have no (Personal) power of the good and bad for myself but whatever Allah pleases.' For every nation there is fixed term. When their term will come, then neither they can stay behind for an hour, nor can they advance.

Say: ‘I have no control over any harm or benefit to myself, except by the will of God. A space of time is fixed for each community; when their time is come, not for one hour shall they delay: nor can they go before it.‘

Say: ‘I am no master of any loss or profit for my own self except what Allah may will. A term is (appointed) for every Umma (Community). When their (appointed) term comes, they can neither stay behind nor advance by a single moment.

Say, "I possess no power to harm myself, or benefit myself; only what GOD wills takes place." Each community has a predetermined life span. Once their interim comes to an end, they cannot delay it by one hour, nor advance it.

Say, .I have no power to bring a harm or a benefit to myself, except what Allah wills. For every people there is an appointed time. When their time comes, they are not able to put it off for a moment, nor are they able to go ahead of it

Say, "I have no control over any harm, or any benefit, coming to me, except what Allah pleases. Every Ummah has its term. When their term comes, they shall not then remain here a moment more, nor can they go before their time."

Say, I have no control over any harm or benefit to myself, except by the will of God. For every people, however, there is an appointed term. When the end of their term arrives, they cannot postpone it for an hour, nor can they advance it

Say [Prophet], ‘I cannot control any harm or benefit that comes to me, except as God wills. There is an appointed term for every community, and when it is reached they can neither delay nor hasten it, even for a moment.’

Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I have no power to benefit or protect myself, except by the Will of Allah.” For each community there is an appointed term. When their time arrives, they cannot delay it for a moment, nor could they advance it.

Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)."

Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."

Say, ‘I have no control over any benefit for myself nor [over] any harm except what Allah may wish. There is a time for every nation: when their time comes, they shall not defer it by a single hour nor shall they advance it.’

Say (O Messenger), "I have no power even to avert any harm to myself, or benefit myself contrary to the Laws of Allah. Every nation determines its own rise and fall. When the time comes, they can neither delay, nor hasten the Requital."

Tell them: `I have no power to harm or benefit even myself, except what Allah may will. There is an appointed term for every people; and when the end of their term comes, neither can they put it off for an hour, nor can they bring it an hour before.

Say, "I have no power to harm or profit myself (or I have no power myself to harm or profit), save what Allah wills. Every nation has its appointed time; when their appointed time comes to them they cannot delay it for an hour or hasten it."

Say, “I do not have power (even to) harm or benefit myself (I have nothing) except that which Allah wills For every community there is a (fixed) term, when their term comes (to an end), then they can neither postpone it for (some) time nor advance it.”

Say: "I do not own/possess to myself harm and nor benefit/usefulness except, what God willed/wanted, to every/each nation/generation (is) a term/time, if their term/time came, so they do not delay/lag behind an hour, and nor advance/precede ."

Say, "I do not possess (any means for) harm or profit for myself, excepting whatever Allah decides. To every nation is a term; when their term comes they will not be able to postpone it by a (single) hour, nor will they be able put it forward."

Say [O Prophet]: "It is not within my power to avert harm from, or bring benefit to, myself, except as God may please. For all people a term has been set: when the end of their term approaches, they can neither delay it by a single moment, nor hasten it."

Say (O Messenger): "I have no power to harm or benefit myself, except by God’s will. For every community there is an appointed term; and when the end of the term falls in, they can neither delay it by any period of time, however short, nor can they hasten it."

Say: “I possess no power of harm, and nor of benefit for my Nafs except what Allah thought proper. For every Ummah (there is) a term appointed. When their appointed term approached, then they do not delay by an hour and nor they advance (even a moment).”

Answer, I am able neither to procure advantage unto my self, nor to avert mischief from me, but as God pleaseth. Unto every nation is a fixed term decreed; when their term therefore is expired, they shall not have respite for an hour, neither shall their punishment be anticipated

Say to them: “I do not have any power of my own to materialize my wishful thinking or to prevent any hardship which I am destined to go through. Whatever is the Will of Lord will happen. Every nation has a destiny; when its time come, it will neither be postponed nor advanced.”

Say: “Even for myself, I have no control over what brings benefit or harm, except to the extent that Allah wills. Every community has a certain span of life; and, when their lifespan comes to an end, they can neither postpone nor advance it by a single hour.”

Say, `I have no power to hurt or to do good to myself. It shall happen as Allah will. There is a term appointed for every nation (for the recompense of their actions). When their term comes they cannot remain behind (it) a single moment (to escape from it), nor can they get ahead (of it to avoid it).

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except what Allah may will. For every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a term appointed; when their term is reached, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment)." (Tafsir Al-Qurtubee)
