And We have destroyed the generations before you when they transgressed; and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs, but they would not believe. It is such that We recompense the criminal people

Before you people, We destroyed whole generations when they did evil- their messengers brought them clear signs but they refused to believe. This is how We repay the guilty

And indeed, We have destroyed generations before you when they did wrong while their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they would not believe! Thus, do We requite the people who are sinners

And assuredly We have destroyed the generations before you when they did wrong, while their apostles came unto them with the evidences, and they were not such as to believe. In this wise We requite the sinning people

How many generations did We lay low before you when they became wilfully unjust. Their apostles had brought clear proofs to them, yet they never believed. So We punished the sinful people

Indeed, We have destroyed the generations before you because of their wrongdoing and denial despite Rasuls coming to them as clear proofs... Thus we requite people in error!

No doubt, We ruined generations before you, when they crossed the limit, and their messengers came to them with bright evidences. And they were not such as to believe. Thus, We recompense the guilty.

We destroyed generations before you when they did wrong. Their Messengers brought them the Clear Signs, but they were never going to have iman. That is how We repay evildoers.

Assuredly We destroyed many generations before you when they committed wrongs (in their deeds, in their measures and judgments, and in their response to the truth): the Messengers raised from among them came to them with the clear proofs of the truth, but it was plain that they would not believe. Thus do We recompense the guilty people committed to accumulating sin

Certainly We destroyed [several] generations before you when they perpetrated wrongs: their apostles brought them manifest proofs, but they would not have faith. Thus do We requite the guilty lot

And We certainly destroyed several generations before you when they went wrong inspite of the fact that there had come to them their Messengers (of God) with clear proofs but they would not believe. Just (as We repaid them) so We repay all such guilty people (with punishment)

We destroyed the generations before you when they did evil, and their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, but they would not believe; so We recompense the people of the sinners

And We have certainly destroyed the generations before you when they did wrong while their messenger brought them clear evidences and they would not believe. That is how We pay back guilty people.

Do not forget that, before you, I destroyed [many] nations who had chosen the injustice [not the right path] as their way of life. They chose to disbelieve in their Messengers (whom I had sent with undeniable miracles.) I deal with the criminal people in such a manner [example: Sodom & Gomorrah.]

Generations before you We caused to perish when they did wrong. Their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they would not believe. This is how We repay those who do wrong

And verily We destroyed the generations before you before you when they wronged and came to them their Messengers with clear proofs but not they were to believe Thus We recompense the people (who are) criminals

And indeed, We destroyed generations before you for what they transgressed. And came to them their Messengers with Al-Bayyinat but they were not (such) as to Believe. Thus We reward the nation of criminals

And, certainly, We caused to perish generations before you when they did wrong while their Messengers drew near with the clear portents, but they had not been such as to believe. Thus, We give recompense to the folk, the ones who sin.

And indeed, before you We (also) destroyed (a number of) communities when they perpetrated injustice. And their Messengers brought to them clear signs, but they would not believe. That is how We punish the evildoers (for their impious behaviour)

We annihilated many towns prior to you, because their residents became unjust and evil. The messengers brought them clear proofs, yet they were determined not to believe! This is how We punish the criminal nations

We have already destroyed generations before you when they did wrong, and there came to them their apostles with manifest signs, but they would not believe. Thus do we reward the sinful people

And indeed We destroyed several generations before you when they crossed the limits - and their respective Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as would believe; this is how We reward the guilty

And indeed we had destroyed generations before you when they persisted in wrongdoing. And their messengers had come to them with clear signs but they were never going to believe. Thus do we requite the people who are the evildoers.

We have formerly destroyed the generations who were before you, O men of Mecca, when they had acted unjustly, and our apostles had come unto them with evident miracles and they would not believe. Thus do We reward the wicked people

We have already destroyed generations before you when they did wrong, and there came to them their Messengers with manifest signs, but they would not believe. Thus do We reward the guilty people

We destroyed generations before you when they did evil. (When) their Messengers came to them with clear verses they would not believe; so We recompense the sinning nation

And indeed, We destroyed generations before you, when they did wrong while their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they were not such as to believe! Thus do We requite the people who are Mujrimoon (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.)

We have destroyed generations before you when they did wrong and their messengers had brought them explanations, and they would still not believe. Thus We reward criminal folk.

And of old destroyed we generations before you, when they had acted wickedly, and their Apostles had come to them with clear tokens of their mission, and they would not believe: - thus reward we the wicked

We destroyed earlier generations when they did wrong. Their messengers came to them with evident signs, but they would not believe. Thus We repay the sinners.

Surely We destroyed the nations (which had risen to heights of glory in their times) before you when they indulged in wrong-doing and refused to believe even when their Messengers brought clear signs to them. Thus do We recompense the people who are guilty.

And certainly We destroyed generations before you when they did wrong, and their messengers came to them with clear arguments, yet they would not believe. Thus do We recompense the guilty people

And We indeed destroyed generations before you when they were unjust, and their messengers had come to them with clear proofs but they did not believe. Thus do We reward the criminal people.

And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they became unjust. And their Messengers had come to them with clear signs, but they would not believe. We did thus give the sinning people their dues

And We had destroyed the generations/peoples of eras from before you, when they caused injustice/oppression, and their messengers came to them with the evidences, and they were not to believe, as/like that We reward/reimburse the nation the criminals/sinners

And, indeed, We destroyed before your time [whole] generations when they [persistently] did evil although the apostles sent unto them brought them all evidence of the truth; for they refused to believe [them]. Thus do We requite people who are lost in sin

And We have already caused the generations even before you to perish as soon as they did injustice and their Messengers came to them with the Supreme evidences; and in no way were they to believe; thus We recompense the criminal people

We destroyed the generations before you when they did wrong; and their messengers (from Allah) came unto them with clear proofs (of His Sovereignty) but they would not believe. Thus do We reward the guilty folk

We destroyed certain generations who lived before you because of their injustice. Our Messengers came to them and showed them miracles, but they would not believe. Thus do We punish the criminals

Indeed We have destroyed generations before you when they transgressed, and their Messengers had come to them with clear signs, but they were not the ones who would believe. This is how We punish the guilty people

Verily, We annihilated so many generations before you when they acted wrongfully while their ‘Messengers’ came unto them with full knowledge of the Truth, but they were not inclined to place their Faith in Allâh. This is how We chastise those who were ungodly sinners.

Verily We destroyed generations before you when they voluntarily and consciously indulged in iniquitous deeds, and their Messengers came to them with the Decisive Signs. But they had no tendency to live by Faith . This is how We chastise those who are Ungodly Sinners.

We destroyed many generations before you when they did wrong, and messengers came with clear signs to them, but still they didn’t believe. That’s how We deal with sinful people.

We surely destroyed ˹other˺ peoples before you when they did wrong, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs but they would not believe! This is how We reward the wicked people.

And We already destroyed generations before you when they did wrong and their messengers came to them with clear proofs but they did not believe; this is how we reward sinful people.

We obliterated generations before you on account of the wrongs they did; their apostles had come to them with veritable signs, but they would not believe. Thus do We requite the transgressors

Many a generation we have annihilated before you when they transgressed. Their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they refused to believe. We thus requite the guilty people.

We destroyed earlier generations when they transgressed in spite of the evidence of truth brought to them by their messengers, whom they refused to believe. This is how we punish those who force others to reject God's messages.

And We already destroyed the generations before you when they were oppressing. And their messengers came to them with the proof, and they were not believing. Thus, We penalize the criminal kinfolk.

We annihilated many nations before you for their violation of human rights. Their Messengers had come to them with clear evidence of the Truth, but they refused to believe them. Thus do We reward those who steal the fruit of others' labor

And certainly We did destroy generations before you when they were unjust, and their messengers had come to them with clear arguments, and they would not believe; thus do We recompense the guilty people

And We destroyed many generations before you when they did wrong; and there came to them Messengers with clear Signs, but they would not believe. Thus do We requite the guilty people

And indeed, generations before you We have destroyed when they did wrong: Their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, but they would not believe! Like this We repay the sinners (and criminals)
