Quran 10 : 11

Should God hasten evil on men as they fain would hasten their good, then were their end decreed! So leave we those who hope not to meet Us, bewildered in their error

If God were to hasten the evil, as men try to hasten the good, their term would come to end. So We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander perplexed in transgression

Were Allah to hasten ill for mankind with their haste for good, their term would have been over. But We leave those who do not expect to encounter Us bewildered in their rebellion

If God were to hasten evil for people, as they hasten good, their time would have been over. But We leave those who don’t look forward to meeting Us in their transgressions, blundering.

And if God hastened for the people the evil as He hastens for them the good, then they would have been ruined. We thus leave those who do not wish to meet Us wandering in their transgression.

If Allah should hasten evil to people as they would hasten good, their term would already have been decided. But We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander blindly in their insolence

If God should hasten unto men evil as they would hasten good, their term would be already decided for them. But We leave those, who look not to encounter Us, in their insolence wandering blindly

If Allah were to hasten evil for people as they wish to hasten good, they would have certainly been doomed. But We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander blindly in their defiance.

And if Allah hastened for people the bad as they ask to hasten the good, their term would have already been decided, so leave those who do not look forward to meet Us to get lost in their rebellion.

If Allah were hasty in punishing people as they would hasten their reward, their fate would have been sealed, so We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander aimlessly in their disobedience.

Had God hastened the punishment of men as He hastens the good, the end of their term of life would already have been reached. We leave those who do not hope to meet Us groping along in their arrogance

If God were to accelerate the ill for the people, as they wish to accelerate the good, their term would have been fulfilled. But We leave those who do not expect Our encounter to blunder in their excesses

If God were to hasten up evil for mankind just as they seek to hasten good, then their deadline would have been decreed for them. We leave those who do not hope to meet Us groping along in their arrogance.

If Allah (God) were to hasten up evil for mankind just as they seek to hasten good, then their deadline would have been decreed for them. We leave those who do not hope to meet Us groping along in their arrogance.

Were God to hasten evil for mankind, even as they would hasten the good, their appointed term would have been concluded. But We leave those who anticipate not the meeting with Us to wander confused in their rebellion

And if Allah is hastening the evil for the people, as their hastening with the goodness, their term would decree to them. So, We forsake those who are not expecting our meeting, in their tyranny, are confusing blindly.

And if God should hasten for mankind the bad as they would hasten the good, their term would surely be fulfilled to them. But We will leave those who do not hope for Our meeting in their immoderation, blindly wandering.

And if Allah would have hasten evil to people as they hasten for the good, then their promised term would have already been completed. Therefore, We leave those who hope not to meet Us That they wander in their contumacy.

If Allah were to hasten evil for people the way they try to hasten good, their term would already have been completed for them. We abandon those who do not expect to meet Us to wander blindly in their excessive insolence.

And if God should hasten on the bad to men as they would hasten on the good, their appointed time would surely be fulfilled. But we will let those who hope not for our meeting go on in their rebellion, blindly wandering on

If Allah were to hasten trouble for people as quickly as they want to be blessed, their respite would be over immediately. For those who do not expect a meeting with Us, We abandon them in their sin to wander haphazardly.

And if Allah were to hasten in sending evil to the people, as they hasten in seeking good, their time would have been all over. So, We leave alone those who do not believe in meeting Us to wander blindly in their rebellion

If Allâh were to hasten on the evil for the people, as they would hasten on good, then their term would have been decreed for them. We leave those who do not hope in Our meeting to wander blindly in their transgression.

If God were to hasten on for people the harm [they have earned] as they wish to hasten on the good, their time would already be up. But We leave those who do not expect to meet Us to wander blindly in their excesses

If GOD hastened the retribution incurred by the people, the way they demand provisions, they would have been annihilated long ago. However, we leave those who do not believe in meeting us in their transgressions, blundering.

Had God hastened what is ill for people as they would hasten what is good, their fate would have been sealed. Therefore We leave those who entertain no hope of meeting Us to their wrongdoing, ever straying from the right path

And if God is to quicken the worst for humanity, as they would desire to hasten for the good, their term would be decided. But We forsake those who hope not for the meeting with Us, wandering unwilling to see in their defiance.

The matter would have been put to rest, had Allah also rushed to harm them like they run after the worldly gains (and riches)! We have abandoned those who do not expect to meet Us; they are absorbed in their rebellious defiance

If Allâh were to hasten on the evil for the people, as they would hasten good, then their term would have been decreed for them. We leave those alone, who do not expect to meet Us, in their transgression, blindly wandering on.

If God should cause evil to hasten unto men, according to their desire of hastening good, verily their end had been decreed. Wherefore We suffer those who hope not to meet Us at the resurrection, to wander amazedly in their error

And if Allah were to hasten (quickly) to mankind evil as they would seek hastening of charity, their term would indeed be decreed to them. Yet We leave out the ones who do not hope for meeting with Us, in their inordinance blundering

Were God to rush punishment for people in the same way they rush toward what they consider good, their time would already be up. We will leave those who do not believe they are destined to meet Us to wander blindly in their arrogance.

And if Allah should hasten the evil to men as they desire the hastening on of good, their doom should certainly have been decreed for them; but We leave those alone who hope not for Our meeting in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on

And if hastens (by) Allah for the mankind the evil (as) He hastens for them the good surely, would have been decreed for them their term But We leave those who (do) not expect the meeting with Us in their transgression wandering blindly

Had God been as hasty to punish people as they were hasty to achieve good, their life would have already ended. We will leave those who have no hope of receiving Our mercy, in the life hereafter, to continue blindly in their transgression

And were Allah to hasten the ill unto mankind as their desire for hastening the good, their term would surely have been decreed unto them. So we let alone those who hope not for the meeting with Us, wandering in their exorbitance perplexed

If Allah were to hasten on for men the ill (that they have earned) as they would hasten on the good, their respite would already have expired. But We suffer those who look not for the meeting with Us to wander blindly on in their contumacy

And if Allah were to hasten for mankind the evil, as they wish the hastening of good on them, then their term would have been brought to an end for them; so We leave those who do not hope to meet Us, blindly wandering on in their rebellion.

If God rushes to badness (and punishment) for people as they want to hurry for the good (things), their term would be complete (and they would be punished). So, We leave those who do not expect to meet Us, blindly wandering in their rebellion.

And if Allah should hasten for men the evil they earn, as they would fain hasten on the good, their respite would surely have expired. But We suffer those who look not for (or expect not) the meeting with Us to wander blindly on in their rebellion

And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindl

And if Allah were to hasten for mankind the evil (they earned) as He would hasten on the good, then their respite would be already ruined. But We leave those who don’t expect their meeting with Us, in their trespasses, wandering blindly in distraction.

And if Allah were to hasten for men the (consequences of) evil, as they would hasten on the good, their doom would certainly have been decreed for them. But We leave those alone, who have no hope of meeting with Us, in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on

And if Allah should hasten bad things to happen to men as they desire the good things to hasten to them, their doom should certainly have been decreed for them. But We leave them to wander blindly in their inordinateness — those who expect not to meet Us

Were Allah to send misfortune to the people as quickly as they hasten for the good *, their appointed term would have been finished; so We leave those who do not expect to meet Us, to wander in their rebellion. (* The way they wish the good to reach them quickly.

If God were to hasten for humanity the wrong they have earned, as they would have hastened on the good, then would their respite be settled at once. But We leave in their trespasses those who refuse to rest their hope on their meeting with Us, wandering in distraction

If Allah were to hasten for men the ill (they have earned) as they would fain hasten on the good,- then would their respite be settled at once. But We leave those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, in their trespasses, wandering in distraction to and fro

And if God hurries/hastens the bad/evil/harm to the people (as) their hurrying/hastening with the good/wealth , their term/time would have been executed/accomplished to them, so We leave those who do not expect meeting Us in their tyranny/arrogance being confused/puzzled

And if Allah hastens for mankind the evil (outcome) (as would have been) their swiftness (of demand) for a good (out come), surely would have been settled to them their term (of respite). Then leave those who hope not for a meeting with Us, in their turmoil they would wander blindly

And if ALLAH were to hasten for men the ill consequences of their actions as they would seek to hasten on good, the end of their term of life would have been already brought upon them. But We leave those who look not for the meeting with Us to wonder distractedly in their transgression

And if Allah were to bring forward for men the bad (that they have earned) as they would happily hasten on the good— Then their period of rest will be settled at once. But We leave those who do not keep their hope on their meeting with Us, in their sins, wandering about being lost

Were Allah to hasten to bring upon men (the consequence of) evil in the way men hasten in seeking the wealth of this world, their term would have long since expired. (But that is not Our way.) So We leave alone those who do not expect to meet Us that they may blindly stumble in their transgression.

If the Lord had punished them in proportion to their deep involvement in the worldly affairs, their time would have come long time ago. Yet, I let those who do not believe in their meeting with Me to become deeper involved in their materialistic pursuit [and earn every bit of their punishment.]

If God were to hasten for human beings the ill (which they have earned) in the same manner as they hasten (the coming to them of what they consider to be) the good, their term would indeed have been decreed over for them. But We leave those who do not expect to encounter Us in their rebellion blindly wandering

Now if Allah were to bring in haste for people the ill [which they do not like] as they would want Him to bring in haste the good [which they like], then their term of respite will surely come to an immediate end. So We therefore leave those, who do not look forward to meet Us, wandering blindly in their transgression.

Had Allah hastened evil unto man when they deserved it, just as they hasten in their request of the good, their lives would have ended long ago! We leave those who think they can attain the awareness of the Names by returning (to their essential reality; becoming aware of their origin) in their excessive ways, wandering blindly.

If Allah hastened requital for people as they hasten for immediate delights, their respite would have already expired. (It is Allah's Mercy that His Law of Requital does not grasp them instantly. He gives them time to mend their ways). Those who do not entertain the hope of meeting with Us, We leave them wandering in their rebellion

And were Allah to hasten for mankind the evil (they invoke for themselves and for their children, etc. while in a state of anger) as He hastens for them the good (they invoke) then they would have been ruined. So We leave those who expect not their meeting with Us, in their trespasses, wandering blindly in distraction. (Tafsir At-Tabaree; Vol. 11, Page 91

If Allah were to hasten evil (i.e., torment) for the (disbelieving) people, as they make haste for the worldly gains, then certainly their term (of life) would have been (hastily) completed for them (so that they reach Hell fast after dying). But We leave those who do not expect to meet Us in their rebellion (and revolt) so that they keep wandering disoriented

If Allah were to hasten on the evil for the people (as a consequence of their evil actions), just as they would seek to hasten on (for themselves) the good, (the end of) their term (of life) would certainly have been brought upon them (forthwith). But We leave alone those who fear not the meeting with Us, nor do they cherish any hope (for the same). They are wandering distractedly in their transgression

NOW IF GOD were to hasten for human beings the ill [which they deserve by their sinning] in the same manner as they [themselves] would hasten [the coming to them of what they consider to be] goad, their end would indeed come forthwith! But We leave them alone [for a while] -all those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us: [We leave them alone] in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro
