“Iyad Al-Ash’ari was in Anbar at the time of ‘Eid, and he said: ‘Why is it that I do not see you engaged in Taqlis* as was done in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?’”

*Taqlis means to indulge in celebrations on a festive occasion.
