Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 49, Hadith 103 Next Hadith → that the Prophet (ﷺ) was brought the body of a deceased man, to perform Salat for him, but he did not pray over him. It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! We have not seen you avoiding prayer over anyone before this?" He said: "He used to hate 'Uthman, so Allah hates him."
