Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 49, Hadith 30

that Al-Harith bin Hisham asked the Prophet (ﷺ): 'How does the Revelation come to you?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Sometimes it comes to me like the ringing of a bell and that is the hardest upon me, and sometimes the angel will appear to me like a man, and he will speak to me such that I understand what he says.'" 'Aishah said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while the Revelation was descending upon him on an extremely cold day. Then it ceased and his forehead was flooded with sweat."

Previous Hadith

"You consider the signs to be punishment, whereas we used to think of them as a blessing during the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). We used to eat food with the Prophet (ﷺ) and we would hear the food's Tasbih." He said: "And the Prophet (ﷺ) was brought a container, so he put his hand it in, and the water began to spring from between his fingers. So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Hasten to the blessed Wudu and the blessing from the heavens' until all of had performed Wudu."

"I have not seen anyone with hair past his shoulders in a red Hullah more handsome than the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He had hair that would flow on his shoulders, having broad shoulders, not too short and not too tall."
