Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 42, Hadith 40

that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No two Muslims meet each other and shake hands, except that Allah forgives them before they part."

"From Abu Ishaq, from Al-Bara - and he did not hear it from him - the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by some people from the Ansar while they were sitting in the road. He said: 'If you people must do this, then return the Salam, assist the wronged, and give directions to the one who is on the route."
