Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 26, Hadith 34

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought some milk which was mixed with some water. On his right was a Bedouin and on his left was Abu Bakr. So he drank, then he gave it to the Bedouin and said: 'The right, then the right.'"

He said: There are narrations on this topic from Ibn 'Abbas, Sahl bin Sa'd, Ibn 'Umar, and 'Abdullah bin Busr.

This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Previous Hadith

From his grandmother Kabshah who said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me. He drank from a hanging water-skin while standing. So I went to its mouth and cut it off."

This Hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib. Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir is the brother of 'Adbur-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir. He died earlier than him.

That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one providing water for people is the last of them to drink."

He said: There is something on this topic from Ibn Abi Awfa.
