This hadith has been reported on the authority of `Abdullah b. `Ukaim with a slight variation of wording.

That the Messenger of Allah SAW said: "What an excellent man is Abu Bakr. What an excellent man is 'Umar. What an excellent man is Abu 'Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah."
