"The Messenger of Allah stood up on the Day of Sacrifice and Said: 'Whoever turn toward our Qiblah and prays as we pray and offers the same sacrifice as we do, let him not offer his sacrifice until he has prayed; My maternal uncle stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I hastened to slaughter my sacrifice, so that I could feed my family,. And the members of my household,; or my family and my neighbors,; The Messenger of Allah said; 'Offer another sacrifice,; He said: 'I have a suckling she-goat kid that is dearer to me than two sheep raised for meat,' He said: 'Sacrifice it, for it is the better of your two sacrifices. But no Jadh'ah will do as a sacrifice for anyone after you."' (Sahih )
Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 43, Hadith 34
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) awoke in the morning and called for Bilal, then said: 'O Bilal! By what have you preceded me to Paradise? I have not entered Paradise at all, except that I heard your footsteps before me. I entered Paradise last night, and I heard your footsteps before me, and I came upon a square palace having balconies made of gold. So I said: 'Whose palace is this?' They said: 'A man among the Arabs.' So I said: 'I am an Arab, whose palace is this?' They said: 'A man among the Quraish.' So I said: 'I am from the Quraish, whose palace is this?' They said: 'A man from the Ummah of Muhammad (ﷺ).' So I said: 'I am Muhammad, whose palace is this?' They said: ''Umar bin Al-Khattab's.' So Bilal said: 'O Allah's Messenger! I have never called the Adhan except that I prayed two Rak'ah, and I never committed Hadath except that I performed Wudu upon that, and I considered that I owed Allah two Rak'ah.' So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'For those two.'"
Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 49, Hadith 85
"When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died, some of the 'Arabs apostatized. 'Umar said: 'O Abu Bakr, how can you fight the 'Arabs? Abu Bakr said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah) and that I am the Messenger of Allah, and establish prayer and pay Zakah?' By Allah, if they withhold from me a small she-goat that they used to give to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) I will fight them for withholding it.' ('Umar siad) 'By Allah, when I realized that (Abu) Bakr was confident about this idea, then I knew that this was teh truth.'"
Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: 'Imran Al Qattan is not strong in Hadith, and this narration is a mistake. The one that is before it is the correct narration of Az-Zuhri, from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Utbah, from Abu Hurairah.
Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 25, Hadith 10
I came to Medina when an epidemic had broken out. While I was sitting with `Umar bin Al-Khattab a
funeral procession passed by and the people praised the deceased. `Umar said, "It has been affirmed to
him." And another funeral procession passed by and the people praised the deceased. `Umar said, "It
has been affirmed to him." A third (funeral procession) passed by and the people spoke badly of the
deceased. He said, "It has been affirmed to him." I (Abu Al-Aswad) asked, "O chief of the believers!
What has been affirmed?" He replied, "I said the same as the Prophet (ﷺ) had said, that is: if four persons
testify the piety of a Muslim, Allah will grant him Paradise." We asked, "If three persons testify his
piety?" He (the Prophet) replied, "Even three." Then we asked, "If two?" He replied, "Even two." We
did not ask him regarding one witness.
