And if only the people of the towns had believed and been aware, then We would have opened for them blessings from the heavens and the earth; but they denied, so We took them for what they had earned.

If the people of those towns had believed and been mindful of God, We would have showered them with blessings from the heavens and earth, but they rejected the truth and so We punished them for their misdeeds

If the people of the towns had believed and had feared (Allah), We would have opened to them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they denied. So We seized them for what they used to earn.

And had the people of those townships believed and feared, We would of a surety have opened up to them blessings from the heavens and the earth; but they belied, wherefore We laid hold of them for that which they had been earning

But if the people of these regions had believed and feared God, We would surely have showered on them blessings of the heavens and the earth; but they only denied, and We punished them for their deeds

If the people of those cities had believed and protected themselves, We would surely have opened blessings upon them from the heaven and the earth... But they denied! So We seized them with what they earned with their deeds!

And if the people of the towns had believed and feared, then We would surely have opened upon them blessings from heavens and earth but they belied, then We arrested them on account of their doings

If only the people of the cities had had iman and taqwa, We would have opened up to them blessings from heaven and earth. But they denied the truth so We seized them for what they earned.

If the peoples of those townships had but believed and, in order to deserve His protection, had kept from disobedience to God in reverence for Him and piety, We would surely have opened up for them blessings from heaven and earth; but they denied (the Messengers and the Divine Message they brought), and so We seized them for what they habitually earned (through their deeds)

If the people of the towns had been faithful and Godwary, We would have opened to them blessings from the heaven and the earth. But they denied; so We seized them because of what they used to earn

And if the people of the townships had believed and guarded against transgression, We would invariably have opened for them (the gates of) blessings of the heaven and the earth, but they cried lies (to the Prophets), so We punished them on account of what they used to accomplish

Yet had the peoples of the cities believed and been godfearing, We would have opened upon them blessings from heaven and earth; but they cried lies, and so We seized them for what they earned

And if people of the towns had believed and were cautious (of God), We would have certainly opened blessings of the sky and the earth to them, but they denied so We punished them for what they were doing.

Had such people chosen to believe and be righteous, I would have showered them with My blessings from the heaven and the earth. Unfortunately, they chose to disbelieve and earned their punishment

If the people of the towns had only believed and had been conscious of God, We would indeed have opened up to them blessings from heaven and earth, but they rejected it, and We brought them to account for their misdeeds

And if [that] people (of) the cities (had) believed and feared Allah surely We (would have) opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth but they denied So We seized them for what they used to earn

And had the people of (these) towns Believed and showed obedience (to the Word of God) surely We would have opened over them blessings from the direction of the sky and the earth, but they belied. So We seized them because of that which they used to earn

And if the people of the towns believed and were Godfearing, We would have opened blessings for them from the heaven and the earth, except they denied. So We took them for what they had been earning.

But if the inhabitants of (these) towns had embraced faith and adopted Godwariness, We would have opened to them blessings from the heaven and the earth. But they rejected (the truth). So We seized them with (torment) for the (impious acts) they used to perpetrate

Had the people of the town believed and adopted piety, We would have arranged for Our blessings to rain down upon them from the sky, and blessings springing from the earth. But they rejected and so We grabbed them because of what they used to do

Had the people of the town but believed and feared, we would have opened up for them blessings from the heavens and from the earth; but they said it was a lie, so we overtook them for that which they had earned

And had the people of the dwellings believed and been pious, We would have surely opened for them the blessings from the sky and from the earth, but in fact they denied, and We therefore seized them on account of their deeds

If only the people of the township had believed and revered Allah, We surely would have opened for them the blessings from the heaven and from the earth but they belied so We seized them because of all that they used to perpetrate.

And if the people of those towns had believed and been righteous, We would have surely opened for them blessings from heaven and earth; but they disbelieved, so We seized them because of that which they earned

Had the people of the town but believed and feared, We would have opened up for them blessings from the heavens and from the earth; but they said it was a lie, so We overcame them for that which they had earned

Had the people of the villages believed and been cautious, We would have opened upon them the blessings from heaven and earth. But they belied, and We seized them for what they earned

And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (polytheism and crimes, etc.)

If the townsfolk had (only) believed and done their duty, We would have showered blessings from Heaven and Earth on them, but they rejected [them], so We seized them for what they had been acquiring."

But if that the people of these cities had believed and feared us, we would surely have laid open to them blessings out of the Heaven and the Earth: but they treated our signs as lies, and we took vengeance on them for their deeds

If the people of the towns had believed and feared Allah, We certainly would have lent them blessings from the sky and the earth. They refused, however, so We made them accountable for their errors.

Had the people of those towns believed and been God-fearing, We would certainly have opened up to them blessings from the heavens and the earth; but they gave the lie [to their Prophets] and so We seized them for their deeds. so

And if the people of the towns had believed and kept their duty, We would certainly have opened for them blessings from he heavens and the earth. But they rejected, so We seized them for what they earned

And had the people of the cities believed and guarded (against evil), We would have opened on them blessings from the sky and the earth, but they denied, so We seized them on account of what they used to earn.

And if the people of those places had believed and had been pious, We would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heavens and the earth. But they denied the Truth! So We seized them because of what they had earned

And if that the villages'/urban cities' peoples believed and feared and obeyed, We would have opened/eased on them blessings from the sky/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and but they denied/falsified , so We took/punished them because (of)what they were acquiring/gathering

Yet if the people of those communities had but attained to faith and been conscious of Us, We would indeed have opened up for them blessings out of heaven and earth: but they gave the lie to the truth - and so We took them to task through what they [themselves] had been doing

And if the population of the towns had believed and been pious, We indeed would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they cried lies, (and) so We took them (away) for what they were earning

And if the people of the townships had believed and kept from evil, surely We should have opened for them blessings from the sky and from the earth. But (unto every messenger) they gave the lie, and so We seized them on account of what they used to earn

Had the people of the towns believed (in Our revelations) and maintained piety, We would have certainly showered on them Our blessings from the sky and the earth. But they called Our revelations lies, thus Our torment struck them for their evil deeds

If the people of the towns believed and feared Allah, We would have opened for them blessings from the heavens and the earth, but they disbelieved. So, We seized them because of what they used to earn for themselves

If only the people of those towns had believed in ( Unity and Oneness of Allâh) and acted piously, We would have definitely opened out for them (contentious) blessings from the heavens and earth. But they belied (the ‘Messengers’). Thus. We seized them for what they had earned.

If only the people of those towns had lived by Faith and acted piously, We would have definitely opened for them (contentious) blessings from the heavens and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We seized them for what they used to earn.

If the people of the communities had believed and been mindful, We would have opened up for them blessings of the Heavens and Earth, but they rejected Our signs, so We seized them for what they did

Had the people of those societies been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have overwhelmed them with blessings from heaven and earth. But they disbelieved, so We seized them for what they used to commit.

And if the inhabitants of the towns had believed and bewared (of Allah), We would have opened for them blessings from the sky and the earth, but they denied, so We took them on account of what they used to commit.

And had the people of those cities believed and feared God, We would have showered upon them blessings from heaven and earth. But they disbelieved, and We punished them for what they did

Had the people of those communities believed and turned righteous, we would have showered them with blessings from the heaven and the earth. Since they decided to disbelieve, we punished them for what they earned.

If the people of those communities had believed and been mindful of Us, We would have showered them with grace out of heaven and earth, but they rejected the truth, and so We punished them for their misdeeds.

And if the inhabitants of the villages believed and showed piety, We would have opened for them blessings from the skies and the earth; but they falsified, so We took them with what they were earning.

If the people of the towns had believed in the Divine Laws and run their system aright, We would have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth. But they denied and what they earned with their deeds seized them

And if the people of the towns had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have opened up for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they rejected, so We overtook them for what they had earned

And if the people of those towns had believed and been righteous, WE would have surely opened for them blessings from heaven and earth; but they disbelieved, so WE seized them because of that which they earned

And if the people of the towns had only believed and feared Allah, certainly We should indeed have opened out to them blessings from heavens and earth; But they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to account for their wrong doings

If the townsfolk had (only) believed and done their duty, We would have showered blessings from Heaven and Earth on them, but they rejected

Had the residents of the towns believed and been righteous, We would’ve opened upon them blessings from the sky and the earth. But they denied the truth, so We seized them for their misdeeds.

Had the people of the towns believed and turned righteous, We would have opened for them the blessings of the heaven and the earth; but they rejected the truth, so We seized them by what they were doing

Had the people of the towns believed and been reverent, We would surely have opened unto them blessings from Heaven and earth. But they denied, so We seized them for that which they used to earn

And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah , We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning."

Had the people of those towns believed in and feared God, We would have showered upon them blessings from heaven and earth, but they rejected the truth. So We seized them on account of their misdeeds

If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds
