And they were told: "Reside in this town and eat from it as you please, and say: "Our load is removed," and enter the passageway by crouching, We will forgive for you your wrongdoings, and We will increase for the good doers."

When they were told, ‘Enter this town and eat freely there as you will, but say, “Relieve us!” and enter its gate humbly: then We shall forgive you your sins, and increase the reward of those who do good,’

And (remember) when it was said to them: “Reside in this town and eat from there whatever you wish, and say: ‘(O Allah) forgives our sins,’ and enter the gate prostrating (bowing with humility). We shall forgive you your sins. We shall increase (reward for) the righteous people.”

And recall what time it was said unto them: dwell in yonder town and eat plentifully therefrom an ye list, and say: fergiveness, and enter the gate bowing; and We will forgive you your trespasses: anon We will increase unto the well-doers

And when it was said to them: "Live in this land and eat of its produce wheresoever you like, and ask for remission of your sins, but pass through the gates with submission (and not pride), We shall forgive your trespasses, and give to those who are righteous abundance,"

And (mention) when it was said to them, “Dwell in this city and eat from it wherever you will... Say, ‘Forgive us’ and enter through its gate by experiencing the meaning of prostration, so that We may forgive your mistakes... We will increase it even more for the doers of good.”

And remember when it was said to them, "Dwell in this town and eat from it whatever you like, and say, 'our sins may be removed and enter the gate, prostrating, We shall forgive you yours sins. Soon We shall give more to righteous ones.

When they were told: ´Live in this town and eat of it wherever you like and say, "Relieve us of our burdens!" and enter the gate prostrating. Your mistakes will be forgiven you. We will grant increase to good-doers.´

And when they were told, "Dwell in this town and eat (of the fruits) thereof as you may desire, and say words of imploring forgiveness and loyalty to Him, and enter it (not through different ways with the aim of plundering it and massacring its people, but) through its gate humbly and in utmost submission to God, so that We forgive you your misdeeds." We will increase the reward for those devoted to doing good, aware that God is seeing them

And when they were told, ‘Settle in this town and eat thereof whence you wish; and say, ‘‘Relieve [us of the burden of our sins],’’ and enter prostrating at the gate, that We may forgive your iniquities, and soon We shall enhance the virtuous.’

And (recall the time) when it was said to them, `Dwell in this township (-Yathrib) and eat therefrom when you will and pray, "Relieve us of the burden of our sins," and enter its gate submissively. (If you do so) We will protect you against (the consequences of) your sins. We shall multiply the reward of the doers of excellent deeds.

And when it was said to them, 'Dwell in this township and eat of it wherever you will; and say, Unburdening; and enter in at the gate, prostrating; We will forgive you your transgressions, and increase the good-doers.

And (remember) when they were told: “Reside in this town and eat wherever you want in it, and say: “Remove (and reduce our sins),” and enter the gate humbly. I forgive your mistakes. We are going to increase the (reward of) good doers.”

Recall [their response] when they were told: "march into the town (Palestine), bow down your head as a sign of being humble, say "hittatum" (amnesty to its dwellers), get established in that town and enjoy what God has in reserve for you there. I will forgive your sins [such as worshipping the cow] and reward the good deeds of the righteous ones among you many folded."

And remember it was said to them, “Dwell in this town and eat as you wish, but say a word of humility, and enter the gate in a posture of humility. We will forgive you your faults, and We will increase those who do right.

And when it was said to them Live (in) this city and eat from it wherever you wish and say Repentance and enter the gate prostrating We will forgive for you your sins We will increase (reward) (of) the good-doers

And (bring to mind) when it was said to them: “Dwell in this town and eat therefrom wherever you wished, and say: Hittatun (repentance) and enter the gate in submission and obedience: We shall forgive you your wrong-doings. Soon We shall increase those who do good in perfection — (in their shares and rewards)

And mention when it was said to them: Inhabit this town and eat from it wherever you willed. Say: Unburden us of sin! And enter the door as ones who prostrate themselves We will forgive you your transgressions. We will increase the ones who are doers of good.

And (recall) when it was said to them: ‘Dwell in this town (Bayt al-Maqdis [Jerusalem] or Ariha [Jericho]) and eat of it wherever you like and continue saying (with your tongue): ‘Forgive (our sins),’ and enter the gate (of the city) in a state of prostration; (then) We shall forgive all your sins. Soon shall We grant more favours to the pious

(Remember) when they were told, "Live in this town, and eat here whatever your hearts desire. But (you must) say ´forgive our sins´ and enter the gate (of the town) prostrate, and crawling on all four. We will forgive your sins and We will increase the reward of the righteous."

And when it was said unto them, 'Dwell in this city and eat therefrom as ye will, and say 'hittatun and enter the gate adoring; so will we pardon you your sins; - we will increase those who do well.

And remember when they were commanded, "Reside in this township and eat whatever you wish in it, and say ‘Sins are forgiven’ and enter the gate prostrating - We will forgive you your sins; We shall soon bestow more upon the virtuous."

And when it was said unto them, “Dwell in peace and tranquility in this township and eat therefrom from wherever you will, and say ‘Remove You from us the burden of our sins,' and enter the gate prostrate; We shall forgive you your sins. For those who act in excellence, We shall increase them [in excellence].

And remember the time when it was said to them, 'Dwell in this town and eat therefrom wherever you will, and say, 'God! lighten our burden,' and enter the gate in humility, We shall forgive you your sins, and surely We shall give increase to those who do good.

And when it was said unto them, "Dwell in this city and eat there from (enjoy its facilities) as you will, and say "Repentance" and enter the gate prostrate (in humility); so will We forgive you your sins; We will increase (the portion or

When it was said to them: 'Dwell in this village, and eat of whatever you please; and say, "Unburdening" and enter the gate prostrating, We will forgive you your sins and increase the gooddoers.

And (remember) when it was said to them: "Dwell in this town (Jerusalem) and eat therefrom wherever you wish, and say, (O Allah) forgive our sins; and enter the gate prostrate (bowing with humility). We shall forgive you your wrong-doings. We shall increase (the reward) for the good-doers."

When they were told: "Settle down in this town and eat wherever you wish in it, and say: 'Relieve [us]!' Enter the gate [walking] on your knees. We will forgive you your mistakes; We will give even more to those who act kindly,"

And when it was said to them, "Dwell in this city, and eat therefrom what ye will, and say 'Hittat' (forgiveness), and enter the gate with prostrations; then will we pardon your offences, - we will give increase to the doers of good:"

Recall that it was said to them, “Dwell in this town and eat there as you wish, but say a word of repentance and enter the gate in a posture of humility. We will forgive you of your sins. We will provide increase for those who live correctly.”

And recall when it was said to them: ´Dwell in this town and eat plentifully of whatever you please, and say: "Repentance", and enter the gate prostrate. We shall forgive you your sins and shall bestow further favours on those who do good.´

And when it was said to them: Dwell in this town and eat from it whence you wish, and make petition for forgiveness, and enter the gate submissively, We shall forgive you your wrongs. We shall give more to the doers of good

And when it was said to them, "Dwell in the city and eat from wherever you will, and say: put down from us our heavy burdens, and enter the gate prostrating, We will protectively forgive you your mistakes, We will give more to the doers of good,"

And when it was said to them, "Reside in this place of habitation and eat wherever you wish therefrom, and say, 'hittatun.' And enter the gate prostrating. We will forgive you your wrong-doings. We will give more to those who do good."

And if (it) was said to them: "Reside/inhabit this the village/urban city, and eat from it where/when you willed/wanted, and say humility/humbleness , and enter the door/entrance prostrating, We forgive for you your sins/mistakes , We will increase the good doers."

And [remember] when you were told: "Dwell in this land and eat of its food as you may desire; but say, `Remove Thou from us the burden of our sins,' and enter the gate humbly - [whereupon] We shall forgive you your sins [and] shall amply reward the doers of good."

And as it was said to them, "Dwell (serenely) in this town and eat of it where you decide, and say, "Unburdening, " (Unburdening of their sins, i.e, forgiveness) and enter the gate constantly prostrating. (Then) We shall forgive you your offences. We will soon increase the fair-doers."

And when it was said unto them: Dwell in this township and eat therefrom whence ye will, and say "Repentance," and enter the gate prostrate; We shall forgive you your sins; We shall increase (reward) for the right-doers

When they were told, "Settle down in this town, eat as you wish, seek forgiveness and enter the gate prostrating yourselves (in obedience to the Lord) and We will forgive you your sins and increase the reward of the righteous people

(Recall) when it was said to them, .Live in this town and eat therefrom anywhere you like, and say, HiTTah (we seek forgiveness) and enter the gate prostrating yourselves, so that We forgive your errors. We shall give much more to those who are good in their deeds

(Mention) when it was said unto them: "Dwell in this town and eat from it wherever you desire , and say: “O Allâh, lighten our burden”, and enter the gate in humility. We shall forgive you your sins; and surely We shall give increase to those who pursue righteousness.

And (mention) when it was said unto them: "Dwell in this town and eat from it wherever you desire. Say: ‘O Allâh, lighten our burden’, and enter the gate in humility. We shall forgive you your iniquitous deeds.. And most assuredly We shall give increase (the portion of) of those who pursue righteousness and perfection in Faith.”

For example, when they were told: “Settle down in this town and eat of its fruits from wherever you please, and when you enter the gates, prostrate yourselves and say: ‘Forgive us our sins,’ so that We forgive your wrongs, and We will increase the reward of the righteous ones.

And ˹remember˺ when it was said to them, “Enter this city ˹of Jerusalem˺ and eat from wherever you please. Say, ‘Absolve us,’ and enter the gate with humility. We will forgive your sins, ˹and˺ We will multiply the reward for the good-doers.”

And when it was said to them: live in this town and eat from it as you please and ask to be accepted and enter the gate submissive, We shall forgive you your shortcomings and shall give more to those who do good.

And when they were told: ‘Dwell in this city, and eat from it whatever you please; pray for forgiveness and enter the gates bowing: We will forgive you your sins and bestow abundance on the righteous,‘

Recall that they were told, "Go into this town to live, and eat therefrom as you please, treat the people amicably, and enter the gate humbly. We will then forgive your transgressions. We will multiply the reward for the righteous."

When you were told, "Take this village as your home, and eat anywhere you like. But say, 'Remove the burden of our sins from us', and enter the gate humbly. Then We will forgive you of your sins and will abundantly reward those who do good."

And when it was said to them, “Reside this village, and eat from it wherever you wish, and you shall say, “Unburden us” and enter the door prostrating, We will forgive your guilts, and will increase the benefactors.”

And remember, when it was said to them, "Dwell in this town, enjoy Our bounties all along and remain humble before Our Commands. As soon as you enter the gate, your wandering in the desert will end. Remain submissive and We will forgive your faults. We increase the reward for those who benefit humanity." (2:58). Then We commanded you, "Enter the Sacred Land (of Palestine (5:21)) and enjoy the provisions; eat from where you want. Enter the gate humbly and say, HITTATUN, 'Our Lord! Absolve our misdeeds, we mend our ways.' Then do what you say and We shall forgive you your misdeeds and amply reward the doers of good."

And when it was said to them: Reside in this town and eat from it wherever you wish, and say, Put down from us our heavy burdens: and enter the gate making obeisance, We will forgive you your wrongs: We will give more to those who do good (to others)

And remember the time when it was said to them, `Dwell in this town and eat therefrom wherever you will, and say, `God ! lighten our burden,' and enter the gate in humility, WE shall forgive you your sins, and surely WE shall give increase to those who do good.

And (remember) when it was said to them: "Live in this town and eat from there as you wish, but say the word of modesty (without pride) and enter the gate in a state of being humble: We shall forgive you for your faults; We shall increase (the portion of) those who do good."

When they were told: "Settle down in this town and eat wherever you wish in it, and say: ´Relieve [us]!´ Enter the gate [walking] on your knees. We will forgive you your mistakes; We will give even more to those who act kindly,"

They were instructed, “Settle in this town, eat from it wherever you wish, say, ‘Relinquish,’ and enter the gate humbly; We will forgive your sins and enhance the reward for the doers of good.”

And it was said to them, 'Settle this town, and eat therein whatever you wish, and speak modestly, and enter the gate in humility—We will forgive your sins, and will promote the righteous.'

And when it was said unto them, “Settle in this town, and eat of that which is therein wheresoever you will, and say, ‘Remove the burden!’ And enter the gate prostrating, that We may forgive you your iniquities. We shall increase the virtuous.

And when it was said to them, 'Dwell in this city and eat from it wherever you will, and say unburdening; and enter the gate prostrating; We will forgive you your sins; - We will increase the good-doers.'

And [mention, O Muhammad], when it was said to them, "Dwell in this city and eat from it wherever you will and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens,' and enter the gate bowing humbly; We will [then] forgive you your sins. We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward]."

When they were told, Settle down in the town and eat wherever you wish in it, and pray for forgiveness and enter the gate in humility: We shall forgive you your sins and shall bestow further favours upon those who do good

And remember it was said to them: "Dwell in this town and eat therein as ye wish, but say the word of humility and enter the gate in a posture of humility: We shall forgive you your faults; We shall increase (the portion of) those who do good."
