Quran 7 : 16

He said: because Thou hast seduced me, I will beset for them Thy straight path

He said, 'Because you have lured me, I will waylay them on Your straight path

He (Satan) said: “Because you misled me, I shall sit for them on your straight path,

He said: "Since you have let me wander off, I'll waylay them along Your Straight Road;

He said: because You let me go astray, I shall discourage them from Your straight path.

The devil said, because thou hast depraved me, I will lay wait for men in thy strait way

He said, “For leaving me to stray I will lie in ambush for them on Your Straight Path.

He said, “Since You caused me to stray, I will sit in wait for them on Your straight path.

He (Satan) said, “So, with what you have lured me, I will disable for them Your straight path.

He said, ´By Your misguidance of me, I will lie in ambush for them on your straight path.

Said he, 'Now, for Thy perverting me, I shall surely sit in ambush for them on Thy straight path

said he, 'For that Thou hast led me into error, I will lie in wait for them in Thy straight path

He said: "Since you have let me wander off, I´ll waylay them along Your Straight Road;

He said, "Since You have willed that I go astray, I will skulk for them on Your straight path.

He said, “Because you have thrown me out of the way, I will lie in wait for them on your straight way

(Iblis) said, “Because you have thwarted me, I will prepare to ambush those along the Straight Way.

Iblis said, "Now that You have caused me to fall into this, I will sit for them on Your straight path.

He said, “Because Thou hast caused me to err, I shall surely lie in wait for them on Thy straight path

He said: "For that which You have caused me to be misled, I will stalk for them on Your straight path."

(Shaitaan) said Because You have sent me astray surely I will sit for them (on) Your path the straight

(Iblis) said: “Since You have declared me astray, surely I will block for them Your Permanent Path

He said: Now, because Thou hast sent me astray, verily I shall lurk in ambush for them on Thy Right Path

He said, 'For that you have led me into error, surely I will lie in wait for them in your straight path;

He said: As Thou hast adjudged me to be erring, I will certainly lie in wait for them in Thy straight path

He said, .Now that You have led me astray, I will certainly sit for them (in ambush) on Your straight path

(Iblīs) said: "Since You have let me go astray, I shall certainly lay wait for men in Your straight path.

Then Satan said, Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lie in ambush for them on Your straight path

he answered: 'Because You have caused me to go astray, I will waylay them as they walk on Your Straight Path

Satan said: ´Since You have led me astray, I shall surely sit in ambush for them on Your Straight Path

He said now that you have caused me to err, I will surely lay in wait for them on your path the most upright.

He said, "Now, for that thou hast caused me to err, surely in thy straight path will I lay wait for them

Because You have led me into sin,‘ he said, ‘I will waylay them as they walk on Your straight path

He said: "Because thou hast thrown me out of the way, lo! I will lie in wait for them on thy straight way

"Since You led me into error," said Iblis, "I shall lie in wait for them along Your straight path

(‘Iblīs) said: “For letting me fall into temptation, I'll certainly lie in wait for them in Your straight path.

He said: As Thou hast caused me to remain disappointed I will certainly lie in wait for them in Thy straight path

Said he, I swear that because You have seduced me, I shall necessarily sit on Your straight path in wait for them.

He said, `Now, since Thou hast adjudge me to be erring, I will assuredly lie in wait for them on Thy straight path

Iblees said, "Since You have led me astray, I will certainly lie in wait for them in Your Straight Path."

Satan said, “Since You let me go astray, I shall sit near Your straight path for a chance to lure them

Iblis said, "Since You have willed that I go astray, I will lurk in ambush for them in Your Straight Path."

(Satan) said: “Because You have sent me astray, I will surely sit in ambush for them (human beings) on Your Right Way.

[Satan] said, "Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path

And then Iblis said, ‘Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lie in wait for them all on Your straight path

He (Iblis) said, "For that Thou hast led me into error, I will lie in wait for them (ambush them) in Thy Straight Way

He (Satan) said: "Because you have thrown me out of the Way: Look! I will lie in wait against them on Your Straight Path

‘As You have consigned me to perversity,’ he said, ‘I will surely lie in wait for them on Your straight path

(Iblees) said: "Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path

Then Satan said, "Because you have made me go astray, I shall certainly try to seduce people into straying from the right path

Satan said: Because Thou hadst led me into error, certainly, I will sit in ambush for them on Thy path, one that is straight.

He said, "Hence I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I will certainly lay in wait for them on Your Straight Path."

He (Iblis) said, "Because You have removed me from the way, I will definitely sit waiting for them (human beings) on Your straight path,

Said he, "So, for that You caused me to be misguided, indeed I will definitely sit (i.e., in ambush) for them (on) Your straight Path

Satan said: "As you have degraded me, I will [take my revenge and] appear to mankind enticing them to leave your straight path

He (the devil) said: "So with what you misguided/enticed me , I will sit/remain (E) for them (in) Your straight/direct road/way."

[Whereupon Iblis] said: "Now that Thou hast thwarted me," shall most certainly lie in ambush for them all along Thy straight way

(Shaitan) said, "(Lord), since You lured and led me astray, I would now lurk in ambush for them on Your straight path, (to drive them astray)."

(Iblis) continued: "Now that You have allowed me to rebel and go astray, I will surely lie in wait for them on Your Straight Path (to lure them from it)

(Iblis) said, `Now, since You have adjudged me to be perverted and lost, I will assuredly lie in wait for them (- the Children of Adam) on the straight and exact path that leads to you

He (Iblis) said: ‘Since You have led me astray, (I swear that) I will (also) sit on Your straight path (to waylay the children of Adam till I cause them to deviate from the path of truth)

(Iblis) said, “Because You have led me astray, (yudhillu man yashau – based on the reality that He leads astray whom He wills), I shall most certainly sit on Your straight path (sirat al-mustaqim) to prevent them.”
