Quran 7 : 141

And when we saved you from Pharaoh's people who wrought you evil woe, killing your sons, and letting your women live; and in that was a mighty trial from your Lord

And (remember) when We saved you from Pharaoh´s people who wrought you evil woe, slaying your sons, and sparing your women. In that was a mighty trial from your Lord

And that We saved you from Pharaoh's family, who had oppressed you cruelly, putting your sons to death and sparing your women. Surely, that was a great trial from your Lord.

And when We delivered you from Firon's people who subjected you to severe torment, killing your sons and sparing your women, and in this there was a great trial from your Lord

Remember when We rescued you from Pharaoh’s people, who subjected you to the harshest torment, killing your sons and sparing your women. That was a severe trial from your Lord.

And when We delivered you from Pharaoh’s people, who subjected you to severe torment, killing your sons and sparing your women. And therein was a great trial from your Lord

And when We saved you from the House of Pharaoh, who inflicted terrible punishment upon you, slaying your sons and sparing your women. And in this was a great trial from your Lord

And when We saved you from Pharaoh's people who were afflicting you with evil torment, killing your sons, and letting your women live; and in that was a great trial from your Lord.

And when We saved you from Pharaoh's folk. They afflicted you with a bad torment, slaughtering your sons and letting your women alive. And therein was a great scourge from your Lord.

And when We rescued you from the family of Pharaoh who afflicted you with bad punishment, killing your sons and sparing your women, which was a tremendous test from your Lord for you.

When We saved you from Pharaoh's household, they were imposing the worst torment on you: they slaughtered your sons and spared your women. That meant a serious trial from your Lord."

We delivered you from Pharaoh‘s people, who had oppressed you cruelly, putting your sons to death and sparing only your daughters. Surely that was a great trial by your Lord.‘

And when We delivered you from Pharaoh’s clan who inflicted on you a terrible torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women, and there was a great test in that from your Lord

And when We delivered you from the folk of Pharaoh who were visiting you with evil chastisement, slaying your sons, and sparing your women -- and in that was a grievous trial from your Lord

And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh’s people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your sons and kept alive your females. In that was a momentous trial from your Lord

We delivered you from Pharaohs people, who afflicted you with dreadful torment, slaying your male children and sparing only your daughters. That was surely a great trial for you by your Lord

Remember how We saved you from Pharaoh's people, who subjected you to the worst of sufferings—killing your sons and sparing your women. In that was a tremendous trial from your Lord

"Remember (the day) when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh who oppressed and afflicted you, and slew your sons and spared your women. In this was a great trial from your Lord."

When We saved you from Pharaoh´s household, they were imposing the worst torment on you: they slaughtered your sons and spared your women. That meant a serious trial from your Lord."

And (remember) when We saved you from Pharaoh’s people, who imposed the worst punishment on you, killing your sons and letting your women live. And in that there was a great test from your Lord.

Recall that we delivered you from Pharaoh's people, who inflicted the worst persecution upon you, killing your sons and sparing your daughters. That was an exacting trial for you from your Lord.

And (remember) when We did deliver you from Pharaoh's folk who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. That was a tremendous trial from your Lord

(Remember) when We delivered you from the clan of Pharaoh who afflicted you with dreadful torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. Therein was a great trial for you from your Lord.

And ˹remember˺ when We rescued you from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with dreadful torment—killing your sons and keeping your women. That was a severe test from your Lord.

Remember that We delivered you from Pharaoh’s people who afflicted you with dreadful torment. They killed your baby boys while leaving your girls alive. In that was a great trial from your Lord.

And when We saved you from Pharaoh’s folk, they were making you taste the woeful punishment, killing your sons and letting live your females and truly in that was a trial most awful from your Lord.

(Remember) when We delivered you from the clan of ‘Pharaoh’ who afflicted you with dreadful torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. Therein was a great trial for you from your Lord.

And We had saved you from the people of Pharaoh, they were afflicting you with the worst punishment; they used to kill your children and rape your women; and in that was a great test from your Lord.

And recall what time We delivered you from the house of Fir'awn perpetrating on you terrible torment, slaying your sons and letting your women live, and therein was a trial from your Lord, tremendous

And remember when we rescued you from the people of Pharaoh they had laid on you a cruel affliction; they slew your sons, and let only your daughters live, and in this was a great trial from your Lord

(Remember) when We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh who inflicted grievous torment upon you, slaughtered your sons and left your women alive. In all that there was a great trial from your Lord

And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh's people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your male children and saved alive your females: in that was a momentous trial from your Lord

Remember how We saved you from Pharaoh’s people, who were subjecting you to the worst of sufferings, killing your male children, sparing only your females- that was a mighty ordeal from your Lord

Remember when We rescued you from Pharaoh´s people who were inflicting an evil punishment on you, killing your sons and letting your women live. In that there was a terrible trial from your Lord.

(Remember) when We saved you from people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with worst punishment, killing your sons, letting your women live, and in that (condition) there was a great trial from your Lord.”

Remember when We saved you from Pharaoh’s people, who inflicted the worst punishment imaginable on you: slaying your sons and leaving your women to live; that was a big test from Your Lord

And remember when We rescued you from Firaun’s people who were afflicting you with a dreadful torment; slaughtering your sons and sparing your daughters; and in it was a great favour from your Lord

And remember, when We delivered you from the people of Firawn who afflicted you with evil punishment, slaughtering your sons and letting your daughters live. And therein was the great bounty of your Lord.

And when We saved you from (the) people (of) Firaun who were afflicting you (with) worst (of) torment they were killing your sons and letting live your women And in that (was) a trial from your Lord great

And (remember) when We rescued you from Firauns (Pharaoh) people, who were afflicting you with the worst torment, killing your sons and letting your women live. And in that was a great trial from your Lord

And remember the time when We delivered you from Pharaoh's people who afflicted you with grievous torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. And therein was a great trial for you from your Lord

And remember the time when WE delivered you from Pharaoh's people who afflicted you with grievous torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women. And therein was a great trial for you from your Lord

And when We delivered you from Pharaoh's people! They were inflicting on you a terrible torment: they were killing your sons and sparing the lives of your womenfolk. And therein was a mighty trial from your Lord

And if We saved/rescued you from Pharaoh's family, they humiliate/impose upon you the punishment's evil/harm , they kill your sons and they shame/keep alive your women, and in that (is) a great test from your Lord

[He reminded them of the word of God], "We saved you from Pharaoh's people who caused you cruel suffering, killing your sons in great numbers and sparing [only] your women, which was an awesome test from your Lord."

"Have you forgotten that it was God who saved you from the worst persecution of the people of Pharaoh? They were killing your males and abusing your females. What a great trial the Lord let you go through!"

And (remember when) We saved you from Firon's (Pharaohs) people, who punished you with the harshest of penalties, who killed your male children and kept alive your females. And in that was a great trial from your Lord

"Children of Israel, when I saved you from the Pharaoh and his people who made you suffer the worst kinds of torment, killing your sons and keeping your women alive, it was a great trial for you from your Lord."

And (remember) when We delivered you from the people of Firawn who afflicted you with an evil punishment : they killed your sons and left alive your women, and in that there was a great trial (for you) from your Fosterer.

And call to mind when We delivered you from Pharaoh´s people who perpetrated on you a terrible torment, putting your males to death and sparing your females. Surely in it there was an awesome trial for you from your Lord

Mention when We rescued you from the people of Pharaoh who cause an affliction to befall you of a dire punishment. They slay your children and save alive your women. And in that was a trial for you from your Lord, tremendous.

And as We delivered you from the house of Firaawn (Pharaoh) who were marking you for an odious torment, massacring your sons and (sparing) alive your women, and in that (Literally: those (things) was a tremendous trial from your Lord.

And [recall, O Children of Israel], when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, [who were] afflicting you with the worst torment - killing your sons and keeping your women alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord

And (remember) We had saved you from the dynasty of the Pharaoh... (Remember how) they were afflicting you with the worst torment; they were killing your sons and keeping your women alive... And in that there was a great trial for you from your Rabb.

And (bring to mind) when We rescued you from the followers of Fir’aun; they (used to) give you torture in punishment — they are killing your sons and letting your women survive, and in this (is) an extreme test from your Nourisher-Sustainer

And remember (the time) when We delivered you from (the tyranny and violence of) the people of Pharaoh, who used to afflict you with fierce torment. They used to slay your boys and spare your girls. And in that, there was a great trial for you from your Lord

Remember, We delivered you from Pharaoh's folk as they were persecuting you. They killed your sons and spared your women. This was a great tribulation you incurred according to the Laws of your Lord, since you had divided among yourselves and became weak (28:4)

And [he reminded them of this word of God]: "Lo, We saved you from Pharaoh's people who afflicted you with cruel suffering, slaying your sons in great numbers and sparing [only] your women - which was an awesome trial from your Sustainer."

(And Allah says) "Bear in mind that We delivered you from (the clutches of) the pharaoh´s nation. They persecuted you with a dreadful torture; they slaughtered your sons and spared your women! In that was a gruesome test from your Lord, the Greatest."

`And (recall the word of God) when (He said), "We rescued you from Pharaoh's people, who subjected you to the worst torment, they gradually went on killing your sons and let your women live and thus sought to make them immodest. And in this indeed was a great ordeal from your Lord".

And (remember, O Children of Israel,) when We saved you from clan of the Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the most evil suffering (by enslaving you to such laborious tasks as construction, transportation and farming), slaughtering your sons and letting live your womenfolk (for further humiliation and suffering). In that was a grievous trial from your Lord
