Quran 7 : 139
Indeed these, destroyed (is) what they (are) in it and vain (is) what they used to do."
إِنَّ
Iinna
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
Haāuulaaʾi
مُتَبَّرٌ
Mutabbarun
مَّا
Mmā
هُمْ
Hum
فِيهِ
Fīhi
وَبَٰطِلٌ
Wabaāṭilun
مَّا
Mmā
كَانُوا۟
Kānūa
يَعْمَلُونَ
Yaʿmalūna
What these idol worshipers are doing is senseless and vain
That which they follow is doomed, and all their works are vain
"These people are ruined for what they are in, and evil is what they do."
“These people are destined for their destruction, and what they do is futile.”
That which they are engaged upon shall be shattered and all their works are vain
what they are engaged in is doomed to destruction and all their works are in vain
Truly, these are the ones who are ruined and falsehood is what they had been doing.
What they follow is certainly doomed to destruction and their deeds are in vain.”
“These (idolaters) indulge in fragmented ruins. What they practice is all in vain.”
Lo! as for these, their way will be destroyed and all that they are doing is in vain
Indeed these destroyed (is) what they (are) in it and vain (is) what they used to do
For what they engage in will be wiped out and what they used to do will be worthless.
As for these, what they practice shall perish, and vain is that which they used to do.
Indeed, these - destroyed is what they are given to; and vain is what they have done.'
For the worship they practise will be destroyed, and that which they do, is vain."
The way these people follow is bound to lead to destruction; and all their works are vain
What these people worship is doomed to be destroyed and their deeds are based on falsehood
What these people are engaged in is sure to be destroyed; and false is what they are doing
"These people and their ways will surely be destroyed, for false is what they practise
Anything those people are busy at is doomed and whatever they have been doing is absurd."
Surely this they are engaged upon shall be shattered, and void is what they have been doing.
indeed, what these are (engaged) in it will be destroyed and what they are doing is useless.”
This condition in which they are, is of destruction and whatever they are doing is fully void.
(As to) these, that wherein they are engaged shall be destroyed and that which they do is vain
"These people are committing a blasphemy, for what they are doing is disastrous for them.
Anything those people are busy at is doomed and whatever they have been doing is absurd."
“As for these, the cult they are in is a piece of a ruin, and vain is that which they practice.
What these people are engrossed in is bound to be destroyed and what they do is all in vain."
What these people are doing is destined for destruction. What they are doing is purposeless.´
“Surely, what they were within it will be smashed, and will be invalid, what they were working on?”
Verily these! destroyed is that wherein they are engaged and vain is that which they have been doing
Surely, all that these people are engaged in shall be destroyed, and vain shall be all that they do.
Surely, these people will be destroyed for that which they are engaged in and their deeds are in vain
`Surely, all that these people are engaged in shall be destroyed, and vain shall be all that they do.
'What these people are concerned with is perdition, and their deeds are based on falsehoods.'
Verily, these - destroyed shall be that which they are given to; and vain is that which they have done
"Verily, these people- destroyed shall be their way, and vain is that which they are doing."
(As to) these, surely that about which they are shall be brought to naught and that which they do is vain
[the cult] these people practise is doomed to destruction, and what they have been doing is useless
What they are engaged in is indeed bound to perish, and what they have been doing shall come to naught.’
“Surely their faith and application will bring about destruction! What they are engaging in is worthless/vain.”
"The condition they are in is, in fact, one of destruction - and all what they do is utter falsehood."
As for these here, what they are doing is doomed to destruction; and all that they have ever done is falsehood."
Truly all that these people are implicated in is doomed to annihilation and in vain will be all that they used to do.
That those what they are in it (is) destroyed/ruined/broken, and what they were making/doing is being wasted/annulled
(Moses added): “Surely, all that these people are engaged in will be destroyed, and all that they do will be in vain."
"Of course, these people are doomed to be destroyed, and everything they have ever done shall come to naught."
Surely these people: stands destroyed, which they are involved in, and (it is all) false what they had been doing.”
Verily, that whose (worship) they are (tangled in) is destined to ruin, and whatever they are doing is (utter) falsehood.
"What these people are doing will lead to their destruction and what they are doing is nothing but the vanities."
(‘Moses added’): “Certainly, all that these people are engaged in will be destroyed, and all that they do will be in vain."
These people, whatever state they are in is beyond repair, and whatever they have been doing is null and void.
"As to these folk,- the cult they are in is (but) a fragment of a ruin, and vain is the (worship) which they practise."
As for these here -verily, their way of life is bound to lead to destruction; and worthless is all that they have ever done!"
(as for) these, (the idol worship) in which they are (involved) will certainly be destroyed and that which they are doing is false."
Indeed, those [worshippers] - destroyed is that in which they are [engaged], and worthless is whatever they were doing."
Surely, whatever (idols) these (people consecrated themselves to) will be completely annihilated, and whatever they were doing is untrue."
"Surely, these people (from here)— Will be destroyed for what they practice (idol worship): And the (worship) that they do is useless."
`Verily, as to these (idolaters) that (cult of idolatry) wherein they are engrossed is doomed to be shattered and utterly vain is all that they are doing.
(Moosa (Moses) added:) "Verily, these people will be destroyed for that which they are engaged in (idols-worship). And all that they are doing is in vain."
"As for those people – what they are engaged in (by way of religion) is bound to destruction, and false and vain is all they have been doing (by way of worship)"
