Thus the truth was set, and what they did was made of no effect.

Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect

Thus the truth prevailed and what they had produced came to nothing

So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing

And the truth stood fast and vain was what they had done;

Thus the truth came to pass, and whatsoever they did was shown to be false

So the truth came to pass, and what they were producing came to nothing

So, the truth was established, and what they were doing became null.

Truth prevailed and what they had been doing collapsed;

Like this the truth was proved. And all that they did, had no effect

So was the truth established and whatever they did, proved vain

So the right occurred and what they were working for, invalidated.
